Lol. I don't agree it is the worst! Not as good as it was at the time, but a lot of fond Nostalgia in it for me.

Yoshi's Story was my first N64 game and I chose it over much more popular ones like Mario 64 or Goldeneye. I loved it and still do. It is just a game that makes me happy. Still go back and play a level every now and then on NSO!

I literally thought this was going to be some deranged game where you shoot people who own low priced houses and told you off for being lazy.

Your Nintendo account picture is also on the ticket though (as it looked like at time of draw, the one you have when you log into the website). Hope people look like who they buy it off! I would be interested to see what people pay for this.

Maybe as one and two were not designed that way, it may be more effort than it is worth to make it online in the same fashion like a modern game...but I guess depends how much they want to invest in this.

Got it one for me when I read it could be Wii Like again. I am sure the tech is much better now, but I always found it patchy even up close, plus it was a pain to balance it in a decent spot for reception. Too low on the TV stand, but didn't balance with the top shape of the TV I had then. Still, at least it doesn't sound like this is central to it all, as that would defeat the handheld duality, surely?

I am mostly digital these days with a few physical. I like digital because I don't like clutter nor the potential impact with the environment. That said, when I buy a duff game or something that I won't play ever again....I do have some I wish I bought physical!

It would be sad to get rid of it entirely, but you can see why some companies would want it! That said, some cherish the store space and being in places is an advertisement in itself.

That would be a pretty sweet price point if true. Guessing that they don't do pre-order price promise guarantees!

@Sam_ATLUS Felt that way growing up with a Gamecube in secondary school. Could count on 1 hand the amount of people in my year that owned one! As for Wii U....that occupied such a small space in shops and people's minds.

Really nice to see Mario RPG suddenly spark up there! Anything that convinces Nintendo to keep doing RPG/Paper Mario games up there is a good thing.

@smeggysmeg No spoilers, but Number 4 appears to be heavily inspired by things that came BEFORE Sonic Adventure 2 gamewise. I do agree that SA2B is the peak of Sonic for me and always will be though.

@The_Pixel_King I was thinking that. Maybe them reiterating it WOULD play Switch games was all some people needed to hear. I know WE knew, as frequent this site, but there was probably a lot of people who are fans but don't follow the industry news in the same way.

I don't even know what Sonic looks like in this game. Turned on the Adventure skin the day of...not turned if off yet! That is my sonic :0)

Are we surprised that they really just went with Switch 2?
In a way, they have never really leant into the numerical upgrade titles, so that is oddly unique for Nintendo.

Honestly, I am happy with this. I LOVE the Switch. I didn't want to replace it. I would have been happy with this as my console for an exceedingly long time, if not my life, given how many games there are.

I am sure they have a lot more tricks up their sleeves, but confirming it as a bigger and better one is pleasing to me.

Hmm. I find it very odd if, after all the DK drumming up they have been doing, they offset it entirely with a Switch 2 reveal the day of.

Maybe they feel it doesn't matter as you can play it on Switch 2 anyway, but that game is going to get really buried in coverage if it is a hair width of a Switch reveal.
