Re: Palworld Developer Responds To Nintendo Lawsuit

Lightsiyd

It would be awesome to see Nintendo and TPC take a loss. Either way, I don't think a patent case is enough to take down Palworld. They would just have to redesign a few mechanics if they lose, but then there's the question of how hard a compensation would hit them...

Re: Upcoming Action RPG 'Reynatis' Bags A Free Switch Demo

@Quarth You're welcome.

@N8tiveT3ch Thanks!! However, while I do not consciously notice these things, I recently realized that my favourite games of all time on Switch - Metroid Dread, Astral Ascent, Have a Nice Death - are all reported to run at 60fps on Switch. So I believe I'm still subconsciously noticing them to an extent.

@Quarth Yes, I tried it on Switch. However I'm not great at detecting things like unstable frame rate or frame pacing, so I can't tell you about performance. I've also played only the tutorial part so far and will finish the demo later, but yeah, it's on Switch.

Did another 100% complete play through of Metroid Dread in order to celebrate my new Hall-Effect Joy-Cons. 130+ hours in and I simply can’t get enough of this game. My Shinesparking has drastically improved in this run and it bumped up my enjoyment another notch!! good times…

My old 3rd-party controllers’s analog sticks were getting drifty, so I had to replace them. My new Hall-Effect Joy-Con colours are to die for!! I love them!! You can change the colours as you please. I have a soft spot for yellow and purple, and I never realized how much I would love having coloured lights on my controllers XDDD…

Anyways, I recently acquired Contra Anniversary Collection and it’s a solid 9/10 game just as I remember from my Sega Mega Drive days. I’ll surely put more time into it once I get rid of the Metroid-19 virus I’m struggling with. Cheers!!! Happy gaming, everyone!!! ❤︎♥︎❤︎

Re: PSA: Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom Has Reportedly Leaked Online In Full

@VoidofLight Sorry to hear that, and I do somewhat understand as I also hate spoilers when it comes to reading manga, books, and Xianxia, and yeah it's most definitely unfair. It's a shame that it's one of those things that is hard to ever make fair as people's ethical values are capable of being extremely diverse, and some even actively take pleasure in being arseholes.

@gabrigoes I disagree. But it's on me for for not being clear enough. If I'm going to play a multiplayer game, I'd prefer it to be co-operatively focused. I enjoyed playing Skyforge and Paragon because you could team up. I also plan on experiencing Splatoon sometime in the future. I was also a Destiny Crucible powerhouse during the era of Destiny 1...

I didn't read the entirety of this article, but it sounded like a more competitive deal to me, and since the art was a turn off, I didn't bother looking closely.

Re: Does Astro Bot's Super Mario 'Inspiration' Cross A Line? Fans Seem Divided

@Vivianeat I'm not familiar with Foamstars but I'm glad you had fun with it, that's supposed to be the entire point!! I couldn't express my disappointment with NL when I saw that Fenyx Rising review, it discourages people from trying out a great game just because of their own biases.

There are definitely extremes on both sides of the coin, but Nintendo does not lack fangs when the situation calls for it, so there's no need to throw shade directly or indirectly at other games when they take inspiration from them. More great games will always be a good thing.

Reminds me of NintendLife's negative review of Immortals Fenyx Rising which claimed the game was a Breath of the Wild clone. Meanwhile, I enjoyed Fenyx Rising far, far more than Breath of the Wild, primarily because it has vastly superior sidequests as well as massively superior combat.

I do see similarities in the Twitter video, but it's not to the extent of having a stick up my arse.
