AT the time being being, I'd rather own any Wi U than the so-called "AAA games". What are Triple A games anyway? Over-rated, over-prices, over-hyped pieces of gaming that last as long as an ice cream in the sun... before the next one comes around.
And on Wii U, we have strong, quality games like DK:TF, TW101, Hyrule Warriors, that actually can hold our attention for months! That's what I personally call triple A games.

Watch Dogs? You mean the game that comes out just weeks before SSBU and that is not Sonic? You mean the game who will go to the new products aisle to the bargain bin in approximatively one week?The game which everybody who actually wanted got a used copy already for other systems, or low-priced on Steam? The game that has had so much content cut for Wii U version that even the companion app seems like great news?

@BulbasaurusRex I totally agree. Limiting online play to Time matches makes me want to yell. I HATE time matches...

Oh, and remember how Sakurai said he won't include characters that have no future in the game? Maybe Snake Snake didn't make the cut because MGS has no chance of being on a Nintendo system again...

And once again Europe gets it in the behind. We're not seeing a pixel of Shantea until 2015 I think...

I, for one, would like a Minecraft clone on Wii U. It a game I want to try and that I never had the opportunity to. Those clones can be interesting, if the quality is there of course.

I wonder where Shantea:Pirate's curse and Shovel Knight are on this list... They are WAY hotter then Watch Dogs IMO.

In France (at least) we didn't get the OOT and TP costumes for Zelda and Link. Not even a single chance to get them.

Japan is getting lots of freebies... Hope we will, too. Europe didn't even get the OOT and TP costumes for Link and Zelda... Just Ganondorf.

Got it in advance in France too. I don't care about street dates. Japan has had the game for a month now, and I've been foaming at the mouth for the same time. ^^

If it happens to be quality, I'll buy it without even thinking. I want Minecraft on Wii U!

@Sadodi I knew that. It's the first major issue for the Wii U.

What I meant is, I'm disappointed in Ubisoft as a whole: they went from a great company that produced amazing game to a meh company releasing half-baked crap. I personally hated their last games, including Child of Light, Assassin's Creed and Rayman Origins, which I all owned on Wii U. They promise a lot, but never deliver, that's what I meant.

Ubisoft just sounds like: "Oh yeah, that's right we said we'd release Watch Dogs on Wii U. Know what? Just give'em the bare bone experience, it won't sell anyway."

Really, Ubi is disappointing me more and more...

@Josaku Extra content? I want hard evidence. So far, the 3DS version is just as complete as can be. It's a fighting game. There won't be extra characters on Wii U. That's the only thing that actually matters. As long as there is VS mode, Classic and Online, the game is complete.

Bayonetta clearly is one of the best action games out there. Though sometimes frustrating, the first playthrough feels nice, and the following ones are madness, as Bayonetta is like a lot of Platinum's other outings: the first playthough is a tutorial, and then you go and have fun.
Honestly, if you like challenging games and over-the-top violence, and of course, have the humor for it, Bayonetta is perfect! And I'm not even talking about how the sequel looks... 0_O

Nintendo just Falcon Punched the competition.

I get that some people will miss the Ice Climbers but I'm not one of them. Not only I never learned to play as them, but I had no affection for them as their game never left me with a good impression. (as opposed to the Duck Hunt Dog with which I look forward to play).
And last reason: no more Ice Grabbers in touneys! That's a relief! ^^

I'll buy Smash Bros and Watch the duck hunt Dog. It'll save me money. ^^

So Nov 21st huh? ME WANTS! The earlier the better!

My belief is that the 3DS will entice people to take a Wii U to have the game on a large screen. There are a lot of 3DS users who don't have a Wii U, and SSB should act as a bait. ^^

Without the looming New 3DS, I'd be in, but now that I know a new system is coming, I hesitate... a lot.

Buying a hype-dead game that proved to be vastly underwhelming when Bayonetta, Smash Bros, Hyrule Warriors and much more are around? No way, Ubi. Next time you'll have to release the game on time at the very least.

Otherwise, I guess the CPP and new 3DS just don't use the same kind technology... It sounds weird, but I just don't see Nintendo going Sony on this...

I'm personally for Nintendo hunting down shovelware and ousting it out of the eShop. They need to maintain the quality we've come to expect of them. After all, people buying a Wii U are not people that play this kind of crappy games the most.
SO yeah, you can make a quick buck developping a crappy game, but you won't get known for it. Zynga and King are already paying for their mistakes. They won't hold. Studios with hearts like Oddworld Inhabitants may not make a lot of money but their licenses are WANTED by players.

I personally don"t agree. The Wii U is my main, and only new-gen console. The PS4 and Xbone just don't offer unique experiences. I'd rather stick to the PS3 for now.
As the Wii U is starting to lift off, the two others still have hard evidence to provide to prove that they are worth more than my PC.

I'm glad to see a sane comment section for once on such a matter... people being reasonable and discussing respectfully.
Got to agree with @OorWullie though... The writing is, IMO, pretty bad and one-sided, not typically what is read here...

The Wii U doesn't need Activision since it has got the shooter that everyone wanted at E3.

As much as I don't like the region locking, I hope Nintendo will be able to crush this, as it WILL be used for pirating games.

I'm nt interested in AC games since I personally find them boring. Rayman was meh, and ZombiU was great though. But if they feel that way, I guess they don't WANT to sell games on the Wii U either.

Glad they came to their senses, but I still don't care.

@Nimious I doubt Sakurai would do the same mistake twice with Meta Knight. Every character has received a subsential power-up, so they should hold on now. I'm pretty sure that the release date of the two games being so far when the screenshots and gameplay have been looking tight for nearly a year means they are spending some crazy means on balancing the experience they're going to offer us. That, plus Nintendo has been listening to its players recently, and they can't afford to miss out on SSBU/SSB3D.
In the worst case scenario where a character would be unbalanced, let's not forget that the Wii U is a new system that CAN update its softwares easily if needed. (and not going all Capcom over this with an "Ultra SSB Turbo Ex+Alpha 3 Arcade Edition")

So much want... but Europeans will be left out ONCE AGAIN!
