It's hard to believe that we're now moving into the early stages of game release silly-season, with mid-late September kicking things off ahead of the Holiday madness. There have been plenty of games to enjoy over the Summer months, however, for those happy to dive off into the eShop, check out select retail titles or wade into the back-catalogue of doom — most have one of those.
The latest Nintendo Video shows this off, as hosts Kit and Krysta highlight games they played while on the road and at home over the past month. There are some really good choices, and there's a sweepstake competition at the end to try and win a snazzy Hyrule Warriors scarf.
You can check it out below, and Nintendo Minute may be worth watching over the next month as it's being dubbed SMASH-TEMBER, which is either all about Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, or will feature lots of videos of smashing horrible things, like the Wii Mini; we suspect it'll be the former. We're joking about the Wii Mini, of course...

I'm still bitter about the scarf. Though I've found some nice knock offs on ebay.
Still I like this show. They actually seem like they like playing games and they don't try too hard to be cool. I work for gamestop part time and the adverts are such a chore because they are trying too hard.
Am I the only one who found it a bit hard to belive they ment everything they said?
@Ryu_Niiyama I'm finding it difficult (ironic? Funny?) to take you seriously because of your gifatar
@DiscoGentleman I dont think they are trying too hard either, its just that they didnt win me over. Like they could say something about Professor Layton VS Phoenix wright, and not just that its dramatic and has a lot of twists. (Like Luke dont use the clotches he had in the very first trailer for the game)
@Punished_Boss Aww, but I was positive about the show itself. And I did mention I found an alternative to my need for Hyrulian fashion.
And for the lovely avatar of mine...it is Kashiyuka from Perfume...she and the rest of the group are amazing and well... haters gonna hate.
Personally I try to follow up any negative comment I make with a positive one.Though I'm human and have vented from time to time.
I don't like those two I think they are soulless and it appears like they are saying what they are told to say. (Anybody who doesn't do that is told to not do it any more like they did with Dan Adelman). Someone like him should have done this live so it couldn't be messed with.
@Tobias95 No they are in PR.
them showing of the scarf is actually kind of annoying because there is only ONE place to get it (aside from special contest thing) in NA.
@unrandomsam
Of course they are. Nintendo isn't going to let them say whatever they want.
It's pretty rude to call random people you've never met "soulless," though.
Twitter
@Ralizah I'm pretty sure it is rude being them random or not.
@BlackSpy I didn't know about them until I saw this video. Not seen any others yet tought, so cant coment on that
Thinking about getting a Wii Mini to collect (there's a game shop downtown that has a used one for $55, sans Mario Kart Wii).
@Ralizah Everything the woman says is not true there is no way to be 1100 at Mario Kart and have played it basically at all. The truth would have been she has hardly played it at all and has just started (If that is true).
@unrandomsam I see what you mean, she says if you get your score above 1k then your doing pretty good but yet.... you start at 1k and your first race, you can get like 8th/12 and probably gain at least 1 point.
@unrandomsam I'm going to be picky and say that a possibly flawed observation on Krysta's part doesn't really equate to her being soulless. Or ginger.
But then I'm a big fan of this show,
and that screengrab is heart-warming
Kit is really adorable but I can't help but get bored by half of the Nintendo Minute episodes. Nontheless I watch em!
YEEEEESSS Krysta mentioned Layton vs. Phoenix Wright! I'm also having a blast with that one, as the gameplay of both series just seems perfect together!
@ikki5 And then looking more into it the timing seems very convenient for Xenoblade.
They should have the guy with the beard from the treehouse doing it. (I think he was demoing Mario Maker).
Well she she seems happy.
I can imagine the featured screenshot being used for a meme of some sort.
I enjoy watching Nintendo Minute since it fills the void of no longer having Nintendo Week or Nintendo Show 3D. Though I'm quite jealous they got the scarfs since it isn't easy to get your hands on one.
Yeah... smash-tember... in Japan... -gets cryogenised for a month-
When I saw that they were playing Xenoblade Chronicles last month, I assumed that it was an HD remake to be released with Xenoblade Chronicles X. Little did I know that it was the N3DS remake.
So if we see them playing the N64 Majora's Mask, you can consider the remake confirmed.
Can't wait for an EU release of Azure Striker Gunvolt, looks ace. I'll be getting one of those Hyrule scarves in with the big box Limited Edition release of Hyrule Warriors over here
What a pair of tossers!
@ikki5 It's quite possible to race 200 online races in MK8 and yet have a score of less than 1000.
Krysta...yummy
I think they have been getting better and more natural. I don't think they are lying or anything but they were much more stiff and hesitant when they started.
Hopefully they'll get some sort of an interesting back and forth eventually. They are a bit too polite and kind together. It would help if they were actually friends and had a rapport.
Maybe that's why they seem "soulless" as unrandomsam so unkindly put it. We are presented this pair of people as if they are friends and yet they show no signs of relationship beyond their PR assignment.
As for the games that are their favorite, I bet there are some strings pulled behind the scenes but I believe they are really playing them and enjoying them.
Each time I watch one of these I bounce between "these are actually ppl that like games and such, and just don't have any chemistry" to "these 2 are horrible actors".
Why does Nintendo of America never get any special editions or limited editions games for the US?
I would have picked up Hyrule Warriors day one if Nintendo of America would have actually gave use the limited edition of the game but instead Nintendo of America actually just saved me some money. Because now I can just wait until it goes on sale or gets a price drop instead of paying full price for the game when it first comes out.
