One of many reasons why I'm not taking up Minecraft. At least the other games like Cube Life TRIED. They might not have the Minecraft name, but they're trying to live up to expectations. And doing pretty good too.
I love Shantae as a character, and definitly would like to see more of her. But I agree with @Mewario : her games are good, but never reached excellency so far, with Pirate's curse being the best yet. I hope she can rise up to Shovel Knight level, if not Mario and Sonic level.
Or at least beat up their *ss in Smash! I'm really rooting for that!
I'm fine with waiting, if the game lives up to the hype. And big titles like that usually do. Like Smash, Splatoon or Mario Kart. Also, Tri Force Heroes won't scratch my Zelda itch but the Wind Waker campaign for Hyrule Warriors sure could!
I wish we could look for a specific user. I wanna play my friend's courses, but they're to lazy to communicate the numbers. That, and blocking other users so I don't have to see Kaizo-levels ever again.
And since I'm here, here are some levels done by wife and I: generally pretty short, pretty tough, but never unfair.
Forteresse de Megaman (91F4-0000-0012-3F33) Manoir Court (D1FC-0000-0015-89B1) Don't let Bowser see you! (1CF1-0000-0015-AEEF) And clearly a crazy roller-coaster level from Hell... Pas de panique... (2798-0000-0015-E47E)
@VanillaLake It's a must-have if you like Shantae and don't have the original. Sure, it's a little rough around the edges and on the short side, but it's a solid game. If you have the patience, wait for a sale.
@Alucard83 Not even counting the 100 built-in levels, the community will add a tremendous amount of levels too. I feel it could be bigger and better than Little Big Planet as a platform game.
It looks pretty good, but seriously? 20 characters? Are we back on the Super Nintendo? This is ridiculous. The 3DS can hold Xenoblade Chronicles, it can hold AT LEAST 50 characters...
If Bloodstained ends up as good as the Kickstarter promises it, it's going to be the ULTIMATE Metroidvania game. Backed it, and waiting for it with very high expectations.
It's a lot of fun and very fast-paced. Snipers really are at an advantage too. Basically, it's as tactical as it is chaotic. And yes, it does make sense.
After playing this game for a while, I think it'll be an underrated gem, highy sought after in some years. The X-Com-esque tactical side, the graphics, the litterary references to so many writers (kudos to the HP Lovecraft references), the playabilty, the dialogs, everything is fun! It's definitly a must for anyone who like strategy games!
Trust me, Codename STEAM is a fun game, with a lot of qualities. It's not the game of the year by any means but it's fun, new and challenging.
I'm sure it'd have sold like hotcakes if it was a Pokémon or Mario-themed game... And then we say that Nintendo doesn't take risks... when they do, it rarely pays off...
I have a feeling, it's going to be an underrated gem, so I'm keeping my copy handy...
Let's hope Nintendo doesn't mash it all all up and puts Tingle playable in SSB4... I have spent way too much time on Hyrule Warriors looking at him wiggling his butt already!
But really, what were they expecting? Sonic Boom looks like a beta of Jack and Daxter with Sonic. Huge hub world, some poopy speed sections, and a some fighting. Now, J&D had at least some cool exploration, and everything was polished to a very nice level. (don't like the game myself but I can't deny it's good)
You won't make me believe that developers today can't redo what they've done in the great era of 3D platformers of the N64. If Sonic Boom was a bit like Banjo-Kazooie, with a lot of exploration and collectibles, but with a Sonic sauce, speed and platforming, it'd be perfect. Even a sort of ring road around the stage where we can speed could be cool...
The best example of nice Sonic exploration is in Sonic Adventure. The Speed Highway day section, with Sonic (after running down the building) was so much fun to explore! We never got that after SA2.
I'm going to be crude: it looks like poopitypoop, and it is most probably poopitypoop, maybe even one of the poooooooooooooooooopiest games that could ever disgrace the Wii U. Another piece of shovelware made on the spare time of the worst assistant they could find with half an idea.
And with that goes the last bit of confidence we had in Ubisoft for the Wii U.
I liked how we had multiple of unlocking everything in Brawl. Honestly, the unclocking in Melee was downright stupid sometimes. Who actually wants to do the 15-minute melee? Ugh... And unlocking Mewtwo and Game & Watch was just a chore...
I love Hyrule Warriors to bits, but I stopped playing it, just to wait to have the full roaster and be able to level the new characters too on the Adventure maps. I can't wait to play again!
For Shantea, it's the Rating Boards that are holding us back. For Shovel Knight, it was Translation. For a lot of other things, it's "Oh, Europe, that old thing. Why do we bother releasing anything over there anyway?"
We should be thanking Platinum for giving us such a great, polished game. Now they've set a standard, though. A sequel to Wonderful 101 or Bayonetta has to be even better!
l'm not going to be popular with this, but Nintendo should issue an update that forcefully installs itself by Streetpass too. This way, hackers won't get any chance, since the New 3DS' Wifi can't be turned off.

Definitly passing.
