Majoras Mask HRDLC

If you're willing to pay a reasonable amount of money, Hyrule Warriors is the game that keeps giving. We've already had two fairly meaty DLC packs - Master Quest and Twilight Princess - along with some individual costume sets, and the next substantial offering is just a couple of weeks away.

Unsurprisingly timed to coincide with the upcoming release of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D, the Majora's Mask Pack was briefly shown off in the most recent Nintendo Direct broadcasts with footage of Tingle as a playable character, and all of the weirdness that entails. The game's official website has now outlined the full details of the pack, below.

  • New character: Young Link – A boy able to use the power of the demon's mask. He fights nimbly and heroically with his sword. When wearing the demon's mask, he takes its shape and his attacks are strengthened. This power is beyond human understanding, and he will not stop attacking until all of his enemies are destroyed.
  • New character: Tingle – A 35 year-old bachelor and the reincarnation of a fairy. He uses a balloon to freely jump around the battlefield and blow away enemies. His ability to do things like dodge and attack at the same time make him hard to predict and a force to be reckoned with.
  • New Adventure Mode map: Termina Map – In a world where the moon falls moment by moment, you can make free use of mysterious item cards that hold new powers while advancing through your adventure. As a new reward, you can earn some new rank weapons, as well as costumes.
  • New costumes: "Memories of Time" – Three costumes: "Skull Kid Style" for Lana, and "Ocarina of Time Style" costumes for Impa and Shiek.

That all sounds rather fun, and as with previous DLC packs there'll also be a software update to tweak levelling and make minor adjustments - version 1.5.0 is outlined below.

  • Maximum level increased
  • New mixing materials
  • New medals
  • New weapon skills
  • Updated Junk Store – "Skills Cancellation," "Skills Advice," and "Weapons Sale" added
  • Updated Adventure Mode information screen – "Damage Taken" and "Retry from the Beginning" added

If you've already grabbed the DLC season pass (£13.49 / $19.99) you'll get the Majora's Mask Pack at no extra cost, or it'll be £6.29 / $7.99 / €6.99 on its own. It arrives in the West on 5th February in North America and 29th January in Europe (Thanks to Tsurii897 for the EU date correction).
