if your doing a remaster or remake and pricing it at $60 it better include a lot of brand new content and improvements to the original game if not it should be $40 max
there will be games this year but I'm setting my expectations to just small tier releases simply because we are towards the end of the Switch generation than at the beginning and the big games we want now need to saved for the next console to give that the best chance at success
2024 is going yo be a ghost town for Switch now that next gen is likely delayed to next year Nintendo doesn't even have Pokemon so carry their 2024 holiday
If Atlus haven't even started a Switch or just Nintendo version of P3 Reload then it's going to be years until it finds its way onto a Nintendo platform and by that point will fans even care
I hate the argument "Switch is still selling so why release a new console and ruin sales" because Nintendo always sells a console till nobody wants it and when they finally do go next gen it doesn't do as well, you don't will till sales are nothing to go next gen you go while your still doing around 10 million
I'm not fully confident on this prediction but I will predict next gen "Switch 2" whatever it will be called does release in November this year and will announced in late April
If "Switch 2" or whatever it will be called doesn't release this year then it will be announced end of 2024 for March 2025, I do not believe for one second that "ten year plan" meant ten years of only the Switch and nothing else
Best case scenario games that can work on the Series S can work on the Switch 2 or whatever next gen will be called and by the sounds of it developers don't want to make their gamed compatible for the Series S
@Lord there is no way Nintendo are waiting till 2027 to release their next console them saying "10 year plan" does not mean 10 years of only the current Switch and nothing else
I'm sorry there is no way this new Monster Hunter game can run on Switch so what did people expect? yall want a 240p 15fps Switch version of Monster Hunter Wilds?
anyone who is saying "rigged" "anti Nintendo bias" "BG3 doesn't deserve to win" just shows how close minded you are and that you haven't played Balders Gate 3
worse part of my favourite game Kingdom Hearts 2 is obviously Atlantis, mini musical rhythm that completely break up the pace of KH2 (if you want 100% completion)

Re: Random: It's Been 5 Years Since Metroid Prime 4 Was Rebooted
by far the biggest L for Nintendo this generation, its all Nintendos fault because they didn't give it to Retro in the first place

Re: Random: Persona 3 Reload On Switch? "The Idea Is There" Says Director
If Atlus haven't even started a Switch or just Nintendo version of P3 Reload then it's going to be years until it finds its way onto a Nintendo platform and by that point will fans even care

when Nintendo finally go next gen I don't expect anything like this to happen

128 GB is the low bar that "Switch 2" can go, I'm expecting 256 GB

Switch 4K because it will be the first Nintendo console to support 4K gaming

Nintendo barley make games themselves anymore they are lazy

Summer starts June 20 2024 so LM2 can easily be a late June release
