Mario Sunshine mostly because of how janky it is

just because Nintendo is number 1 in Japan doesn't mean they are number 1 everywhere else and clearly they are not

Nintendo accounts do not mean digital and physical purchases of games will carry over to next gen

I am a huge advocate for next gen releasing sooner rather than later but I doubt a trailer or anything for next generation is happening this year

I just see favouritism from reviewers, the mainline Mario and Zelda games get these high scores but every other franchises get lower scores and don't give me the excuse "they are not as good as Mario and Zelda"

how many years were they working on this sequel and it looks no better than the 3ds game? this didn't even have the mainline games problem where they are given 1 to 2 years to make a new game

man it's going to be another very long wait till the next mainline Animal Crossing game isn't it?

OK, 3ds was still getting games for years after the Switch came out so Switch 2 or whatever it will be called can come out sometime next year and the current Switch will still get games

I agree no matter what anyone says you are NOT buying a new console to play your old games on your buying a new generation console for the new exclusive games

this really annoys me I don't like buying games digital, I'm a physical collector but I bought P3P and P4G digital because I was convinced there would be no physical copy, yes this is Limited Run and not Atlus but still also P3P + P4G are more expensive physical than on the e-shop

@DwaynesGames so? Japan is a big market but America is bigger and Europe is also huge, combined its way bigger than Jalan and Pikmin 4 might just be selling average to below average

it is impressive Pikmin 4 is already over 800k in Japan less than 2 months in, clearly its doing good in Japan but what about the rest of the world

this Direct confirms to me the Switch generation is all but done and Nintendo is gearing up for next gen in late 2024

I fully believe the next gen console is releasing late next year so I doubt tons of new games will be announced

@IOI well that's all I've been seeing is new 3D Mario, new 2D Zelda, new Pokemon, new Animal Crossing, Metroid Prime 4, Mario Kart 9 in this one September Direct and all releasing on the current Switch

yes HOWEVER i dont think it will be this incredible Direct with tons of massive Triple A Nintendo games fans are hoping it will be

Persona 5 isn't my favourite Persona game but its the one I will recommend the most because it is the easiest to get into

while it's great to see Pikmin 4 doing well in Japan its outside of Japan where 4 is falling off the sales charts

only expect a new trailer for Mario Bros Wonder and Mario RPG

unless they increase development time the quality of Pokemon games are only going to get worse adding more staff in development won't solve their problem

Pokemon really doesn't need two presents every year and the same goes for Nintendo they don't need to have three Directs ever year they should cut down

the hell $50? this should be $30 maybe $40 max

going by the GTA Trilogy on Switch I have no faith this will run good

they gave away a new 3D Zelda and there won't be a new one until at the very earliest 2028 so if its not Zelda it has to be something Mario either the next big 3D game or the next big Mario Kart, some may say Pokemon should be the launch game but that is not 100% Nintendo first party so no and Metroid doesn't sell hardware

@Dark_Knight facts are facts Final Fantasy sells best on Playstation than what it does on Nintendo so why would Square Enix regret anything? Also this is just Japan what about the rest of the world where Final Fantasy is doing very well

Im impressed with how well Pikmin 4 is doing in Japan alone compared to other big games like Kirby Forgotten Land, the Fire Emblem and Xenoblade games even Persona 5 and obviously Final Fantasy it's selling more faster than those games

If its holiday next year which I fully believe next generation will be releasing then no Switch will not pass PS2
