why are Pokemon, Links awakening and Echoes of wisdom getting free Switch 2 updates but BOTW + TOTK are paid? (Technically free with NSO)

Good thing I have NSO now and I want both GameCube and these Switch 1 upgrades

I was expecting $450 so I wasn't shocked also so happy UK is a bit cheaper for Switch 2

@Dandare I agree with the lack for new first party games but reality Nintendo does need to space out releases because this likely will be another 8 year long console if not longer

I liked it wasn't the best Direct ever but for me it is a very good Direct

These better be $10 upgrades and not you have to buy the game again for better frame rate and better resolution that is scummy if Nintendo does this when these Switch actually sold a ton unlike the Wii U

while we all agree the next Mario Kart will sell very well, probably will be the best selling Switch 2 games do think it will sell significantly less than 8 Deluxe

Problem is what is super popular in one country does not mean that will translate to worldwide success, Dragon Quest mega popular in Japan but outside very few care, in America Call of Duty mega popular but in Japan they don't care

no I don't think they will new games are getting bigger thus taking longer to make Nintendo themselves have started that and as someone who follows PlayStation their out put how slowed down massively over the years and I can't see Nintendo avoiding this

I want LM4 to be more like the first game but the mansion is massive

Sony messed up with PS5 because they took too long to cut off support for PS4 and because of that PS5 is struggling to sell half their audience has still not moved over to PS5 over 4 years later I don't want Nintendo to fall into the same situation where they keep putting games out for Switch 1 and not enough Switch 2 exclusives and people think why do I need a Switch 2

got the day booked off work the one presentation i refuse to miss

they can want it to be as cheap as much as they want if the parts they want are expensive which they will be Nintendo will have no other option but to have a higher than usual price tag plus we know Nintendo doesn't sell hardware at a lose day one like Sony or Microsoft they want to make a profit day one

these sales were pre official announcement so obviously its not, this quarter however different story Switch 2 officially got announced January 16 how will that effect sales? maybe not much in Japan but outside of Japan I expect a big drop in Switch hardware sales

I don't care about Switch 1 anymore I just care about Switch 2 and getting to April 2nd for that Switch 2 Direct to learn about the games and pre orders
