Nah I've played the original and I don't Mario RPG it's as good as people hype it up to be I'd rather play Paper Mario

why is the physical copy in September? that is stupid

C tier Direct at best very underwhelming Direct

I agree not just for sales reasons but because it has horrendous pop in issues and bad frame rate where it dips into the teens in later parts of the game which is just embarrassing

2D Mario is the big game that is being heavily rumored, if true that is so boring as a November holiday game

@rushiosan same Yoshis Crafted World and Shin Megami Tensei 5 run awful on Switch and they are unreal engine exclusives

so are there multiple locations you can travel to like traditional Pikmin games or is it one huge location you explore around with Pikmin 2 caves underneath?

I know there is one rumour of a "July Direct" but I'm not convinced a July Direct will happen because a September Direct is almost guaranteed so that would be way too short of a gap between big Directs

hiring for new talent to work on Prime 4 because its making little to no progress

why are people surprised? they didn't put Soul Hackers 2 on Switch, their new IP Re Fantasy isn't coming to Switch so clearly their bigger projects are not coming to Switch only smaller tier games and ports

I hope people give Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope a chance that game is criminally underrated

3D sonic is almost guaranteed to be bad where as 2D sonic is more likely going to be good except for Sonic 4 that was bad

I disagree bosses are not getting harder especially when you can just pause, heal up and gain both strength and defence buffs that makes everything easier

just found out this is $60 that is way too expensive for a few hour long 2D side scroller

Neither of them are expected to come to Switch and nobody should be surprised Soul Hackers didn't release on Switch so why would these two games?

it 2D Sonic so more likely going to be good it's the 3D Sonic games we need to be sceptical on

Nintendo can not get away with little marketing for Pikmin 4 like they did with TOTK, Pikmin struggles to sell and needs marketing time

@Lord i agree if next gen is 1 to 2 years away you need around 1 year or so to get ready for the reveal so Nintendo behind the scenes are likely getting next gen ready

Not a lot of confidence in Nintendo doing a normal summer Direct and I'm in that camp I'm expecting just a Partner Showcase, Pikmin 4 Direct, Pokemon Presents and some Twitter drops until September where the next big Direct will happen

@Dr_Lugae Persona will not sell millions at $70 P5 only sold well because of all the discounts

Sega are out of their minds none of their games are worth $70 not Sonic or even Persona

Switch can not keep going as Nintendos only platform for much longer and any game releasing on Switch now is a game being taken away releasing on next gen

@BTB20 problem is that is not meeting their sales expectations of 18 million which was a 3 million decline from their original sales target of 21 million and all the investors see is sales decline they dont care about "oh this is the highest 6th year console sales ever"

@awaltzforvenus that would put them at 140 million still 15 million behind DS and PS2 and they might not even hit that15 million

Further sales decline doesn't sound like next generation hardware is releasing this year

@123akis roughly 17 to 18 million but that was a decline from their original expectations of 21 million for physical year 2022 and that's way less than 2021

Switch has peaked and is on the decline next generation is needed soon

I have no sympathy for Nintendo after them going after their own fans taking down their videos and threatening to take down their YouTube channels

seen the movie and its nowhere as good as Nintendo fans hype it up to be

while I would like a Metroid movie let's be real it would do terrible at the box office and Nintendo knows that

how about let the game die and be forgotten about alongside all the Mario sports games

definitely won't be in any acceptable state if they to get it on this weak outdated hardware

$70 and still getting very bad frame rate drops is utterly disgraceful

@Serpenterror how do you think this means a new console launch over new games releasing in the second half of the year?

looks like Nintendo will have to start announcing NEW games soon
