I do not understand people who say "the second half of 2023 is stacked" what are you talking about? No game in August, September and December, a few games in October and November does not mean a stacked second half
I still don't see Nintendo hitting that 15 million target, yes Zelda moved more Switch this quater compared to last year but still over 10 million to sell, there is no game that will really get Switch hardware selling until Mario Bros Wonder in October and I don't see that moving as many Switch's as people think it will especially not like Pokemon did last year
If Nintendo "fans" actually supported these games instead of ignoring them because they are not pokemon, Mario, zelda, Animal Crossing and Splatoon they wouldn't be dormant
guarantee Nintendo will release their next gen at least a couple years before 2027 also not a smart idea to go next gen the same year 2027 Sony and Microsoft will release the PS6 and the Xbox whatever Nintendo will be overshadowed
no chance PS5 was one of the most scalped consoles of all time and when Nintendo finally goes next gen holiday 2024 people will be ready to move on, the demand will be high and scalpers will be ready to bulk scalp the Switch 2
I agree not just for sales reasons but because it has horrendous pop in issues and bad frame rate where it dips into the teens in later parts of the game which is just embarrassing
so are there multiple locations you can travel to like traditional Pikmin games or is it one huge location you explore around with Pikmin 2 caves underneath?
I know there is one rumour of a "July Direct" but I'm not convinced a July Direct will happen because a September Direct is almost guaranteed so that would be way too short of a gap between big Directs
why are people surprised? they didn't put Soul Hackers 2 on Switch, their new IP Re Fantasy isn't coming to Switch so clearly their bigger projects are not coming to Switch only smaller tier games and ports
I disagree bosses are not getting harder especially when you can just pause, heal up and gain both strength and defence buffs that makes everything easier
@Lord i agree if next gen is 1 to 2 years away you need around 1 year or so to get ready for the reveal so Nintendo behind the scenes are likely getting next gen ready
Not a lot of confidence in Nintendo doing a normal summer Direct and I'm in that camp I'm expecting just a Partner Showcase, Pikmin 4 Direct, Pokemon Presents and some Twitter drops until September where the next big Direct will happen

Re: Nintendo Switch Has Now Sold Over 129 Million Units
I still don't see Nintendo hitting that 15 million target, yes Zelda moved more Switch this quater compared to last year but still over 10 million to sell, there is no game that will really get Switch hardware selling until Mario Bros Wonder in October and I don't see that moving as many Switch's as people think it will especially not like Pokemon did last year
Re: Rumour: Nintendo Is Targeting A 2024 Release For The Switch Successor
yeah October or November 2024 for their next generation makes sense to me I fully believe next year is the right time for next gen
Re: Soapbox: Oatchi Is The Star Of Pikmin 4, And He Deserves To Stay For Good
Hard disagree I like Oatchi and what he brings to 4 but he doesn't need to be in the next game (if there will be a Pikmin 5)
Re: The Legend Of Zelda: Oracle Of Seasons & Oracle Of Ages - Which Should I Play First?
I would say Seasons first just because it's easier than Ages
Re: Japanese Charts: Pikmin 4 Posts An Out Of This World Debut, Knocking Zelda From The Top Spot
with digital could be around 500k
Re: Nintendo Expands Switch Online's Game Boy Color Library With Two Zelda Classics
would be nice for full scale remakes for both Oracle games but I doubt that will ever happen
Re: UK Charts: Pikmin 4 Storms To The Top, Beating The Sims 4 And Zelda
disappointed to hear Pikmin 4 sold less than Engage which didn't do near as well as Three Houses
Re: Poll: Which Dormant Nintendo Franchise Would You Most Like To See Return?
If Nintendo "fans" actually supported these games instead of ignoring them because they are not pokemon, Mario, zelda, Animal Crossing and Splatoon they wouldn't be dormant
Re: Nintendo Updates Pikmin 4 To Version 1.0.1, Here's What's Included
I hate day one patches that screams releasing the game unfinished
Re: Handheld Consoles Will Need Easily-Switchable Batteries By 2027, Says New EU Regulation

Re: Castlevania Advance Collection Scores A Physical Switch Release, Pre-Orders Open July 28th
still waiting for Symthony of the Night
Re: Call Of Duty On Switch Is Back On After Microsoft Wins FTC Court Case
I don't believe brand new Call of Duty games will be on the current Switch maybe old COD like Modern Warfare but the new games on the gen gen console

Re: Nintendo Will Be At Tokyo Game Show 2023, But Not In The Public Area
Likely it's just Nintendo doing business with these Japanese third parties behind the scenes
Re: Takaya Imamura: F-Zero Hasn't Been Revived Because Mario Kart Is Nintendo's "Most Popular Racing Game"
No Nintendo hates F-Zero because it doesn't sell
Re: Round Up: Here's What Switch Fans Are Saying About The Pikmin 4 Demo
@johnvboy whats so wrong with the truth these problems are there in plain sight why do people ignore them
Re: Round Up: Here's What Switch Fans Are Saying About The Pikmin 4 Demo
Pop in issues which I absolutely hate in games that is lazy unfinished game development along with frame rate problems
Re: Activision CEO Made 'A Bad Judgement' In Not Supporting The Nintendo Switch More
personally can't blame him Nintendo failed so hard with the Wii U and the 3DS is there worst selling handheld your going to be very skeptical
Re: Nintendo Aims To Reduce Scalping Of "New Hardware"
no chance PS5 was one of the most scalped consoles of all time and when Nintendo finally goes next gen holiday 2024 people will be ready to move on, the demand will be high and scalpers will be ready to bulk scalp the Switch 2
Re: Shuntaro Furukawa: Switch Successor Will Utilise The 'Nintendo Account' System
Nintendo can talk about a "smooth transition" but of they go next gen way too late like they always do then next gen will suffer
Re: Super Mario Bros. Wonder's Estimated File Size Is Revealed On Switch eShop
nobody is talking about where is the next 3D Mario, October this year will be 6 years since Odyssey
Re: Nintendo Infographic Showcases The Games Featured In June's Direct
Incredibly weak second half line-up God I hope next gen releases first half next year
Re: Review: Fire Emblem - The Blazing Blade Is Still As Sharp As Ever

Nah I've played the original and I don't Mario RPG it's as good as people hype it up to be I'd rather play Paper Mario
Re: Pikmin 1 & 2 Drop On Switch eShop Today, With A Physical Bundle On The Way
why is the physical copy in September? that is stupid
Re: Poll: What Did You Think Of Today's Nintendo Direct?
C tier Direct at best very underwhelming Direct
Re: Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope "Should Have Waited" For Switch Successor, Says Ubisoft CEO
I agree not just for sales reasons but because it has horrendous pop in issues and bad frame rate where it dips into the teens in later parts of the game which is just embarrassing
Re: Nintendo Direct Showcase Confirmed For Tomorrow, 21st June
2D Mario is the big game that is being heavily rumored, if true that is so boring as a November holiday game
Re: Pikmin 4 Download Cards Appear In Japan Showing Split Screen, New Treasures And More
@rushiosan same Yoshis Crafted World and Shin Megami Tensei 5 run awful on Switch and they are unreal engine exclusives
Re: Pikmin 4 Download Cards Appear In Japan Showing Split Screen, New Treasures And More
so are there multiple locations you can travel to like traditional Pikmin games or is it one huge location you explore around with Pikmin 2 caves underneath?
Re: Nintendo Expands Switch Online's GBA Library Next Week With Fire Emblem
finally something that's not Kirby
Re: Nintendo May Be Heading To A City Near You In The 'Summer Of Play' Tour (US)
I know there is one rumour of a "July Direct" but I'm not convinced a July Direct will happen because a September Direct is almost guaranteed so that would be way too short of a gap between big Directs
Re: Metroid Prime 4 Developer Retro Studios Is Hiring New Talent
hiring for new talent to work on Prime 4 because its making little to no progress
Re: Atlus Officially Confirms Persona 5 Tactica For Nintendo Switch
why are people surprised? they didn't put Soul Hackers 2 on Switch, their new IP Re Fantasy isn't coming to Switch so clearly their bigger projects are not coming to Switch only smaller tier games and ports
Re: Best Switch Games In Nintendo's eShop Summer Sale (Europe)
I hope people give Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope a chance that game is criminally underrated
Re: Hands On: Sonic Superstars Is Exactly What Sonic 4 Should Have Been
3D sonic is almost guaranteed to be bad where as 2D sonic is more likely going to be good except for Sonic 4 that was bad
Re: Soapbox: Modern Zelda Bosses Are Getting Harder, But They're Nothing Compared To The Oldies
I disagree bosses are not getting harder especially when you can just pause, heal up and gain both strength and defence buffs that makes everything easier
Re: Sonic Superstars Won't Recycle Locations Like Green Hill Zone
just found out this is $60 that is way too expensive for a few hour long 2D side scroller
Re: Atlus Accidentally Reveals Two New Persona Games
Neither of them are expected to come to Switch and nobody should be surprised Soul Hackers didn't release on Switch so why would these two games?
Re: Sonic Superstars Sees The Return Of Classic-Style Sonic With New Visuals
it 2D Sonic so more likely going to be good it's the 3D Sonic games we need to be sceptical on
Re: Pikmin 4 Will 'Rise To The Occasion' In Brand New Trailer
Nintendo can not get away with little marketing for Pikmin 4 like they did with TOTK, Pikmin struggles to sell and needs marketing time
Re: Nintendo Expands Switch Online's Game Boy Color, SNES & NES Library With Four More Titles
only good game is Harvest Moon
Re: Poll: Will There Be A June 2023 Nintendo Direct?
@Tps1234 then why didn't Nintendo do a Direct last year?

@JohnnyC why is TOTK the one exception but everything else isn't? Sounds like Nintendo bias
