@gaga64 Eh. I already own it there but have hardly played it. Looks very rough on modern TVs and I can't stand the control scheme.

Seems worth the extra cash for the convenience of having the game portable and the work they have done to it.

@Wheatly I think you are right. Seems worth £25 as clearly they have done a lot of work to it. That said, I just preordered with Shopto for £29. I'm concerned that the physical will only be a limited run. Seems worth the extra 4 quid for that.

An absolute masterpiece. Cannot wait to play through it again.

On topic: Will definitely check out the demo for OT2. I'm interested to see how they have intertwined the stories this time around.

Why do people feel the need to comment that they have had their Switches since 1987 and have experienced no drift? What's the point? Are you just flexing or do you think that means there isn't an issue?

@Dom_31 I really thought I preferred World but having gone back to it recently it feels so slow in comparison. Still a brilliant game and obviously looks much better but I think I prefer Rise.

@wanghosom It's not a Nintendo exclusive. Why put resources into content that can only be put on one platform?

If they were going to do that it would have made sense back before it the game came out on PC.

I strongly disagree with your statement. I found Quest to be average but Dig 2 and Heist are some of the best games available on Switch.

Just bought Persona 4 Golden so I'll be hopping between that and Monster Hunter Rise.

@the_beaver If the amount of talking in 5 puts you off then 4 isn't for you either. It is just as dialog heavy, if not more so, especially in the opening hours.

Final Fantasy IX. Everything about it is so nostalgic for me. Transforms me from a grumpy 35 year old man to a 13 year old again (especially that title music).

@SJW It's coming to Game pass in January but it's just the base game. Sunbreak will be released later in the year. I doubt that will be on Game pass. DLC generally is not.

All the post launch content for the base game should be there though.

It's so strange to me that Sonic is popular again. My kids love it. It's like going back to my childhood in the 90's and ignoring the 25 years of mediocrity in the middle.

I'm 10 hours in on Xbox and it's is really good. The battle system in particular is brilliant.

@RubyCarbuncle While I don't disagree with you, there is no reason why this game should not run well. It's hardly graphically intensive.

Games on Switch should just be locked to 30fps now, unless very graphically simplistic. I play Monster Hunter Rise regularly and that game looks and runs great.

Just watch a YouTube recap of the Sky trilogy. You aren't missing much by not playing them anyway. I enjoyed the story of those games but the actual gameplay segments were nothing special.

@5th313ment Maybe flooded was a tad hyperbolic. Off the top of my head I can think of the Doom games (all 5 of them), the Quake games, Ion Fury, Dusk, Project Warlock, Immortal Redneck, Prodeus out soon. Others I've probably missed.

Not saying that's a bad thing though. If these are your types of games then you are eating well on Switch.

On topic, the game looks decent but the market seems to be flooded with these types of shooters at the minute.

This game is genuinely very good. It's like a whole game of the Mario Sunshine levels in which you have to clean up the gloopy mess.

Just finished it on Xbox. My GOTY so far. Brilliant 3D platformer.

That's seriously impressive. I can only assume they have compressed the audio files significantly. There is so much spoken dialog in this game that it must take up a large portion of the overall file size.
