Galaxy 1 and 2 were perfect in terms of difficulty for me. I'm glad devs don't cater to the >1% of players that want games to be way less accessible (like they used to be). At the same time I don't want something I can breeze through. The galaxy games were great at hitting that sweet spot between being too difficult and still feeling a level of accomplishment once completed. I seriously doubt we would be getting 9-10s across the board if the game was a walk in the park.
As far as I'm aware everyone over here pronounces Mario that way. It only sounds odd to you guys in the US because you aren't used to it. In the same way that I think it sounds odd when I hear someone in the US pronounce it their way...
There's nothing wrong with a little tongue-in-cheek novelty anyway. The Wii Fit Trainer clearly has an element of novelty surrounding it and I personally think that's a good thing. Sakurai is very good at using comedy within his games and always strikes a good balance. I have every confidence that this will work out great. If it doesn't then pick someone else... Seriously the roster will be huge.
I still need to pick up The Last of Us. So many games to play and I just don't have time! Everyone I have spoke to about it says it's great. If I'm gonna drop £40 on it though it needs to be long enough. Is it as long as the Uncharted games?
The fact that it's hit the number one spot in the Japanese charts just shows how good it is. Glad to see DKCR doing well. One of the best games ever made in my opinion. Just beat the Golden Temple on my third playthrough last night. Great to see Vita doing well too!

An Atlus developed Shining Force game NEEDS to happen.

Re: Review: New Super Luigi U (Wii U)
This is definitely on my 'I Want' list. I may wait for the boxed version as I'm still trying to get all the star coins in the original game.
