I had absolutely no interest in this game... and then I saw the re-reveal trailer. Now I'm super excited to get my hands on this game!

The real question: since I purchased it on WiiU, will I get any kind of discount on Switch?

This looked absolutely amazing. I had my doubts after the Game Awards footage shown last week, but they've completed changed my tune. You've gotta admit - Jimmy Fallon's excitement is contagious!

I really need to get back into playing Hyrule Warriors Legends. I bought the original WiiU season pass. Its a somewhat evergreen game. I can pick up and play it just about any time. There are just too many games to play. I'm busy with Battleborn on my X1, and I still need to get ready for the Far Harbor Fallout 4 DLC. Bah! Too much to play!

I'm still in shock that Disney Infinity is gone.

This Wii U Season Pass is complete separate from the Wii U Season Pass I already purchased before, correct?

Here's how I see it: People flipped out when they announced the DS, but they made awesome use of the touch screen (although the original iteration was hideous). People doubted the Wii, but we got Wii Sports and Skyward Sword. People doubted the WiiU, but we got Splatoon and Mario Maker. Whatever they do will be different, revolutionary, and gave that special Nintendo magic.

This Season Pass has actually peaked my interest. I love how Legends DLC is all based around the handheld Zelda games!

This would be awesome! The best way for Nintendo to get the "hardcore" to buy the NX would be to offer exclusive games of much wanted sequels that never seem to get made. Titles where the fan base isn't as big as say Call of Duty, but they have a voice loud enough to make a difference. I am so happy Bayonetta 2 happened, and now if this is true, I feel that Nintendo is on a good track. What next? Half-life 3? hahaha I kid.... but wouldn't that be hilarious?

I think this was a great time for my wife & I to hop into Disney Infinity. We purchased the Wii U 3.0 starter kit, along with Inside Out (since she doesn't like Star Wars). Since then we have purchased Toy Box Takeover & Speedway (which was somewhat disappointing). Its good to know our purchase will be good for at least another year! (she's actually really excited for Baloo)

I applied for My Nintendo account, but it says its going to send a confirmation email with a verification code. It's been 20mins... still no code... I even tried resending the code. Nothing. Well that's disappointing.

I'm confused on why people are upset with the Amiibo unlocking a dungeon? Doesn't every copy of the game come with the Amiibo? It's not like its being sold separately, causing scalpers to raise the price when it's hard to find.

I wasn't planning on double dipping on this title, but the new content looks fantastic! I may need to look into it...

I watched it last night. The documentary is fantastic!

I am so pumped for Star Fox! I can't wait to hear more about it! Its one of my favorite Nintendo series!

My wife LOVES Mario Party so we'll definitely be picking this up. Hopefully they come out with a Daisy Amiibo or my wife is going to be SO mad. Hahaha

I have a NEW 3DS XL. I already have Xenoblade on Wii. I am not sure if I should Double Dip or not...

@NESlover85 with spreading out the releases, it gets people to talk about the game long after its original release. I have a feeling that after all of the DLC is released, Nintendo will release a new physical copy of Mario Kart 8 that includes all DLC with the game.

@Inkling what Amiibo box? The entire poster is for Mario Party and in the corner of the Mario Party ad it says "Gold Amiibo Edition". I know that some copies of Mario Party are coming with a Mario Amiibo. So I'm just assuming the Walmart pack -in Mario Amiibo is Gold.

Every one of these NEW 3DS articles is like a danger in the heart, knowing that my order was screwed up and I wont be receiving mine for a few weeks. Yet I still read every one in anticipation! Haha

I'm so excited for Monster Hunter 4! Too bad my order hasn't shipped yet...

I need to let off a little steam. Time for a quick rant:

I pre-ordered that special Monster Hunter NEW 3DS XL, and I was surprised that I hadn't heard any update on it recently (since it is launching FRIDAY). I was told that it will not arrive until Monday MARCH 3! It's because I didn't pay for extra shipping! No one at my local Gamestop even told me that was even an option when I purchased it at the store.

I called the store last night and they told me that they couldn't help me, and that I should call customer support.

I called Customer support, was on hold nearly 30 mins, and was disconnected.

I called back, waited ANOTHER 35mins and finally got to talk to someone.

After being on hold for over an hour last night, I was told that there is nothing that can be done for my order. I was told that if I would have called on Friday that they would have updated my shipping for free. Instead... I am now told that my older will arrive MARCH 2!! NEARLY 3 WEEKS after release. They apologized and said that there is nothing they can do. Well that just ruined my entire week...

The thing that frustrated me the most was when she said "If you had called on Friday I could have fixed this for you". I'm sorry. Do I look like the type of man that would have a Time Machine where I can go back and fix this?! lol

ok... Rant over. I feel better now. Haha

I am super excited to get my hands on more Hyrule Warriors DLC! That is the game that keeps on giving!

On a side note, if anyone is interested, a friend and I have started a podcast where we talk about all things video games. The first episode is recorded, and as long as everything goes smoothly with setting up the host, should be up on iTunes by Saturday.

300 hours?! If all I purchased this year were Monster Hunter 4 and Xenoblade Chronicles X, I would be set! Not that I'm going to only buy 2 games this year.... But my point is still valid! Haha

No new game purchases for me for awhile. All of my money went toward that NEW 3DS Monster Hunter Edition... It can't come soon enough!

@Grumblevolcano I completely agree. I know that Star Fox doesn't have the best story, but I'd like to see it continue on from Star Fox Command for DS (the last original Star Fox game).

@Giygas_95 Playing Tropical Freeze reminded me why I love video games. The game play is super tight, graphics are great, and the atmosphere is just pure fun!

Bayonetta 2 was a close 2nd for me, but since I haven't finished it yet (played through Bayonetta 1 first) I felt that DK deserved the vote!

Yeah, I was hoping to get Diddy Kong. Looks like that may not be happening now...

I bought the Luigi PDP "Gamecube" style controller on a whim. It was the last one left at my local Gamestop, and I have seen how fast they disappear off of shelves. After playing a few rounds of Smash with it, I decided to test it on other games as well (including Bayonetta). It's a decent controller, but I was surprised at how light it feels. The buttons are also very "clicky". Besides that, it controls as expected. It will definitely do the job as I have friends over to play Smash during the Christmas season.

I may have to chase after King Dedede...

Costume Quest 2! Finally!

I didn't like the design for any of the original controllers, but that new Donkey Kong one has caught my eye...

I'm a big fan of Platinum Games. I really enjoyed Mad World and Vanquish last generation and so far have loved Wonderful 101 this generation (really looking forward to Scalebound). I have never played Bayonetta, but I am looking forward to playing both on my WiiU!

Of course the day of the Direct happens to be the same day that I have to attend a special after hours event for my job.... I guess I'll watch it Friday! Have to avoid spoilers until then! (Who am I kidding? I'll be all over the net reading everything I can about it! haha)

The amount of cross-overs announced for this game is starting to get ridiculous...

I preordered mine from Amazon. They said guaranteed release day delivery, but it just shipped yesterday. It will be interesting to see if its waiting for me after work today....

I love Animal Crossing, but this is getting ridiculous. I was like "The Villager in Smash! That is awesome!" and "The Villager and Isabelle in Mario Kart 8. That's crazy!", but now I'm like "Isabelle in Monster Hunter.... okay. Now we're going a little too far."
