Re: Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu And Eevee Creators Share All The Details You Need In New Q & A

IceClimbers

Okay, this is why they needed a Direct and the reason why Nintendo started doing them in the first place.

It shouldn't be this hard to say whether it has online or not. Complete fail on the translators and the people asking the questions. It should be two simple questions:

  • Will the game feature online battling and trading?
  • Will it require the Nintendo Switch Online paid subscription service?

Pretty damn simple.

Re: Domains For Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu And Pokémon Let's Go Eevee Appeared!

Yeah, 100% positive this rumor is true. Like, even more so than Star Fox Grand Prix, which I think is real as well.

Now let's wait and see to find out what the Go integration is. Could just be pokeball flicking on the touch screen (motion control for docked/tabletop).

I also wouldn't be surprised if you could transfer Pokemon from Go over to these games.

Re: The Virtual Console Isn't Coming To Switch, Nintendo Confirms

@electrolite77 Agreed. I also think third parties were wanting to pull out of the VC service and sell their legacy content through their own methods. Gives them more control over their own content.

Will be interesting to see if third parties will opt in to "free" NES games on Nintendo's online service.

Re: Nintendo Expects To Sell Another 20 Million Switch Consoles This Financial Year

IceClimbers

I'm not sure why people seem to think this is some lofty, unrealistic goal. The Switch sold over 15 million last fiscal year. Systems that are successful in year one sell more in year two thanks to increased word of mouth and a larger library of titles available. The system sellers from last year will continue to drive sales. Add in Smash and possibly Pokemon on top of other quality titles like Donkey Kong or Mario Tennis and Switch will surpass that goal easily
