Will the 90s never end?!

While this is quite an achievement seeing Crash on Nintendo again I'm just a hater of the original trilogy.

Mario Aces - June 22nd
Crash - June 29th
Ys Viii - June 29th
Captain Toad - July 13th
Octopath July 13th

I hope my wallet is ready.

On a side note I hope the Spyro Trilogy is announced for Switch at E3. I preferred the purple dragon and I don't fancy buying it on PS4 now to then be buying it again in a few months time. The portability of the Switch means it is by far my preferred platform.

I'm glad Crash is moving forward. I was worried it would be eclipsed on the Switch by other amazing titles. Now it won't need to battle with any game. Everybody wins!

Makes sense, the game is already been made, it's just the matter of porting it to the Switch and Xbox.

but if you enjoy platformers than Crash is right up there with Sonic and Donkey Kong Country

Anyone saying this will be rubbish and comparing it to Mario Odyssey needs a reality check.. It's a totally different type of game.

If anything Super Mario 3D world would be more of a fair comparison

May is already a good month for switch, it's nice to know that June will be great as well with crash, mario tennis, and wolfenstein 2. 😊

@YummyHappyPills Does Ys VIII release on the 29th in Europe? It releases on the 26th here in NA, the same day as Lumines Remastered, not that the 3 days makes much of a difference lol

I was so excited for this when it released on PS4, and then I bought and played it... Man, these games have not aged well to me at all. I completed 1 & 2 and started 3 when I finally had to stop myself. I was playing them just to do it and not enjoying myself at all... I love platformers more than any other genre, however these just did not do it for me the second time around.

Now Spyro... that's a whole different story. I love basically any 3-D platformer (yes even the bad ones), so I would jump all over a switch release of the original trilogy.

This is a most pleasant surprise. How often does a game get a sooner release date than originally planned?

Good for fans but I have never been a fan of these games.

Mario Tennis on June 22nd, Y's VIII on June 26th, Crash and Wolfenstein on June 29th, and The Lost Child on the 30th...guess I can't complain there isn't anything to play

I'm definitely picking this game up, but I'm going to wait until August or September. I have a wedding to pay for and the only game I have budgeted to buy in the interim is Mario Tennis Aces. That said, I was always going to get this game on Switch and it's great that it'll launch 2 weeks early. Hopefully by the time I'm able to get it, it'll receive an eShop discount!

@YummyHappyPills Unfortunately it'll be Ys that gets the shaft - which is the one I want the most and will get (as long as it doesn't look super super weak compared to the PS4 version).

I imagine I'll buy Crash as well - only played it twice in my life; 20 years ago and then once last summer at Gamestop. I prefer the lighting on the Switch version - PS4's was WAY overdone in some lets plays I watched last year. Recently bought Wolf 2 on my Pro and...really really didn't like it after the first few excellent hours. I paid under $30 for it and regretted it. BEFORE YOU BUY, read up on some reviews that give it a critical eye - was surprised to find most of the complaints valid.

Am looking forward to getting Crash but still haven't started Super Mario Odyssey yet. Hope Crash sells well on Switch and Spyro will follow shortly.

@Banjos_Backpack oh yeah, definitely. Though, I'd be foaming at the mouth just for official confirmation that Pokemon is coming out 2018.

I was literally bouncing in my seat when they announced this. Already planned on pre-ordering it. Getting it even earlier is all the better!

@Dang69 good to know I'm not the only one who's been disappointed by Wolfenstein II... huge letdown in so many ways, especially if coming right from the previous episodes

File size is only 5.2GB

dialed down assets for sure. PS4 uses 4K assests and explains why file size so wide apart

I guess it is a matter of nostalgia/habits. I grew up on SNES with Mario and DK but I am not fond of Sonic nor Crash. Possibly because I never had a Sega or Sony console.
