I got Spyro on PS4 as a Xmas gift last year so I don't feel the need to double dip. Still need to finish it though.

Gonna finish off the main story in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. Other than that, some Tetris 99 for the theme.

10 hours long? Wow. Definitely downloading.

And Nintendo had "no plans" for new Switch hardware either lol.

I'll be finally starting Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 this weekend. Hero coming to Smash distracted me, then life got busy.

I'll have a ton of time this weekend and over this coming week to play it so I'm hoping to have it finished by the time Astral Chain releases.

Some of my cousins are visiting from out of state this weekend so I'll be playing some Mario Kart with them!

Some more Smash as Hero is really fun to mess around with.

Beyond that either going back to Darksiders or starting MUA3, haven't decided which yet.

Oh, and some Mario Maker 2

Splatoon 2 for the Final Splatfest. Team Chaos must win!!!

Once that's over I'll probably start Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. Probably a bit of Mario Maker 2 as well.

Meh, everything I've seen and read from E3 suggests that the base game has a bulky amount of content (over 30 playable characters, a leveling system and ways to increase your stats, a skill tree, a hefty list of bosses, plus the infinity trials).

I'd imagine the people buying the DLC would get the pass anyways.

@Ralizah Not really, but it looks bad because a 15 year old probably isn't used to that level of negative attention that she received for beating Ally.

The bigger incident this past week was Ally admitting to dating a minor for a while. He retired from the scene and as far as I know has received a lifetime ban.

It's just a window and has nothing to do with Smash. That being said I'd love to see her playable in Smash.

September is already packed so please no. The first week of November would be perfect for this.

Marvel and Wolfenstein for sure. Will get Fire Emblem at some point too, but not necessarily day 1.

@Fededx Both of the FighterZ passes were on sale during the E3 sale! Oddly enough the second one had a deeper discount than the first one despite not yet being complete.

Captain Toad and Tetris 99 for me this weekend.

@AtlanteanMan Considering Prime 4 just restarted development at the beginning of the year, there's absolutely no way it's releasing Holiday 2020. It's just straight up not happening. Holiday 2021 at the absolute earliest, most likely 2022.

This game on the other hand should have already been in development for 1.5 to 2 years as I mentioned above. It's absolutely coming before Prime 4.

Looking forward to this. Very nice surprise!

Highlight of an already amazing Direct.

After all that work they did on that physics and chemistry engine a sequel makes sense.

Guessing it'll be a Holiday 2020 release, Holiday 2021 at the latest. They can reuse the engine and assets so it won't take anywhere near as long as BotW did.

Besides, it'll have been in development for 1.5 years already if they started right after Champion's Ballad released, ~2 years if they started right after BotW's release.

That reveal trailer screamed BotW though. The character was literally holding a sword that glows blue like a Guardian Sword and the blades of grass was dead on like BotW.

Finished Wolfenstein II yesterday so I'll be busy with Smash for the rest of the weekend when I'm not watching Microsoft and Bethesda's E3 conferences!

Haven't played the game in ages but it looks like I'm gonna have to start playing again this summer. Buying that Ecto-1 pack for sure.

@BenAV @Grumblevolcano There's still going to be a ton of Sword/Shield info they'll want to reveal even after this Direct so I wouldn't be so sure of E3 just being a recap.

Hopefully I get some Wolfenstein II in tomorrow but otherwise probably nothing weekend!

FFXII eventually but right now I'm focusing on my backlog.

Also note that Mario Kart Wii sold 100k last fiscal year. Most publishers would kill for those types of legs 2-3 years later, let alone 11.

@Franklin They almost certainly will regardless of them being 1st or 3rd party. To be fair, even if they aren't an advertisement for another game they're still technically advertisements for Smash Ultimate itself

I can see why they'd make a smaller handheld only Switch to go after really young kids (ages 3-6 basically), but man do I hate the idea of it simply because it completely muddies the waters of what's been Nintendo's strongest branding/messaging in ages.
