I had Yellow and Red as a kid, so I obviously went with Blue, although at some point, if there is a discount, I may pick Yellow up as well.

On a side note, I believe it would be very wise of Nintendo to
re-remake these original 3 for the next handheld, whatever it ends up being. I can definitely tell you that I would buy it day one.

I liked Fire Red and Leaf Green, but I still feel that they just aren't as fun as the originals. Although I strongly believe Heart Gold and Soul Silver are much better than their respective originals.

The best Legend of Zelda in my opinion.

I guess now would be a good time to pick up the NES Remix Pack.

I didn't think I would ever outgrow pokémon, but I feel like it is beginning to happen. I super thrilled for the VC releases of the original 3 games, but any new original release, just doesn't entice me anymore. I haven't had fun with an original release since Pearl. I don't know whether it is because of the amount of pokemon now or what. It just seems daunting and at the same time, like they are running out of ideas. I wish they would just make a cutoff soon and have no more new pokemon.
Keep making games of course, but just with the what; 700 they have now.

I don't remember there being a poll for this, but I don't understand why they wouldn't have put X and Y in one category and Heart Gold and Soul Silver in their own, instead of the top 5 being made up of 2 sets of games that are basically identical to each other.

You know, I have been pondering for a long time what there was left to use to name the versions, but I guess I was still only thinking of colors. Still have yet to have an Orange or Purple version.

I want to get Blue version, because it is the only version I haven't played, but I feel like you are only getting your money's worth if you buy Yellow. I think the pricing should be lower for Red and Blue, due to not only the black and white visuals, but the lack of some of the other other enhancements that Yellow brought.

Did anyone else watch the whole video? When he got to the parallel universe part and was explaining it I was beginning to forget that he was playing a videogame.....

Pretty decent commercial and I understand that at the end there they show "20th Anniversary of Pokemon", but what is the point in a commercial, especially a commercial like this that cost A LOT of money if is being shown during the Super Bowl....... and it isn't selling a product...
Why don't they include at the end, that "Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow, are all available again on 3DS". Just seems like a wasted opportunity to me.

To be honest I think this Mario Kart will forever age the worst out of the series. If you look back not even 10 years ago, this was still hailed as not only one of the best mario karts, but also one of the best racing games ever, but if you look at it now, a lot of its flaws are starting to show.

Finally got around to beating the 2nd Super Mario Land, so I definitely am looking forward to this game.

It's the 30th anniversary if Metroid this year. If they font have something planned for it, I will be a little upset. Please let there be a new first person metroid game, in the vein of Metroid Prime that launches with the NX.

So in Japan at least, will those 2DS' come with a physical copy of one if the 4 pokemon games? That was the vibe I was getting from the pictures above.

I have to say I really miss that excitement as a kid opening up presents. It's an excitement unlike any other and you only really experience it for maybe 12-13 years.

If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times. If this new "NX" console, or whatever it ends up being, isn't as powerfull as the XB1 and PS4, Nintendo is doomed.
I hope you're being smart right now Nintendo.
Now is the time to change things if they aren't right.

It may have taken a lot from the original trilogy, but I saw it more as a love letter than anything else. It was a great movie. One thing is for sure. It made all 4 prequels look like absolute garbage!!!

I always find circumstances like this very funny. Is it rare? yes.
It is rare because it sucks? Also yes.

Although realistically I believe it will be a character from a new game that Nintendo is trying to promote, so it will more than likely either be yet another Star Fox character or a second Xenoblade Chronicles character.

I'm glad these games are good, but wouldn't it make more sense for Nintendo to just have these guys develop an F-Zero game and actually use a Nintendo property in the process.

@IronMan28 oh no, you aren't the only one to notice that. One of the thing I like best about Nintendo is that they keep evolving and bringing new ideas to the table, something the competition doesn't do.

One last Wii U swan song game development announcement? And no not Zelda. Something completely new.

It's one of those games that yeah... it may not seem like much for you or me, but if I had a 5-10 year old son or daughter this would be a game I'd buy for them. Seems to me like Mario Party Jr.

I completely agree with him. We can only hope that this "NX" is the real deal and saves Nintendo. Please god make this console powerful. It would make no sense for Nintendo to come out with another home console that is still significantly underpowered in relation to the competition.

I could see Yellow maybe reasonably going for that price, just due to it being in full color and being the deluxe version of the three.
If I were to realistically price it though. I'd make red and blue $4.99 and Yellow $6.99. But 10 bucks is a little crazy. I was really excited when this was announced but now I'm really not.

Still looks like it could have easily been done on the Wii. Just isn't up to par with other Nintendo 1st party games on the Wii U.

Looks fantastic! I can't wait to replay one of my favorite games in a brand new way! I remember there being debates on which game deserved the HD treatment more, this or Skyward Sword. Not to be biased, but I really think the HD lends itself better to the most realistic graphics the Zelda series has ever seen.

Yes! Now even something as simple as this would have made E3 that much better. I'm not sure why they didn't announce this back at E3. Easily one of my all-time favorite games! Can't wait

With all the pointless accessories that came out for the NES, you would have figured they would have released a magnum zapper where you would have to reload by pulling back the hammer, all cowboy style before each shot.

@Yorumi Yeah I understand that. There are a lot of games that have stupid and impractical costumes as well. But if I were to choose an impractical costume that looks out of place for a videogame character, I would have fun with it instead of just resorting to taking the clothes away. Why not a big panda suit, or a Mario hat and overalls? I love when games do that kind of stuff because it is funny and matches the Nintendo theme. I guess it isn't some much the impracticability that is an issue but the fact that they are resorting to sexualizing the characters.

Another recent example are the alternate costumes for that Black Maiden game. I don't even care that we didn't get those costumes here in America. Man next time I'm in a haunted house being chased by ghosts with my best friend, I'm to strip down to nothing but underwear. Nah maybe I'll wear a Speedo in instead. It would be so practical!

@Yorumi That is true, but look what all the males in the game are wearing. What is the point in making her look like that and I assume a lot of the other female characters look similar to this as well.
I think the Japanese need to keep it in their pants some times. Design a female character for once that has her skin reasonably covered and can act like a normal human being. Not just something for the male nerds hunched over their controllers late at night to drool over.

I live in an America and fro the most part I think the censoring of things over here compared to other parts of the world can be a little absurd at times, but I definitely agree with this. The character models for that character are just down right stupid and impractical. I fail to see the importance of dressing a character like that in a game such as Xenoblade Chronicles X.
In a game like Bayonetta, it makes more sense because it is sort of part of the game's shtick, but it makes no sense for Xenoblade.

I have loved Star Wars since I could walk and Ive wanted to give this a try but with all the caution about the difficulty and the fact that the sequels are apparently better, idk whether to dive into this or not.

I like the idea of the Zelda Timeline, but I think games like this and Four Swords Adventures don't really belong in the timeline.
