Does anyone not own more games than they have time to play? The concept of "I'm busy playing something else" will always always be true. I own probably 100 games I've never played. In the age of deals and bundles, I can't imagine anyone owning at least a few games more than they've played at any given time. I bought four games on Switch a couple of days ago because there were each like $2.00. And I'm in the middle of Dex, which I'm super enjoying. And before I started Dex, I was in the middle of King of the Seas, which I was also really enjoying and will probably return to.
Nintendo? Feedback? Impossible. Seriously though it looks like a really good Mario Party entry. Are there pods? And more importantly, are the trap pods?
Awww, the New Horizons bundles are UK only. They were on sale for an insanely cheap price at Walmart in the US recently, but I found out about it like two days too late. Ended up buying a used Lite at my local game store earlier this week.
I'm in Nintendo's side. The plagiarism is blatant, and I'm not really sure why they thought it was ok. And I definitely won't know why they thought they'd get away with it. Nintendo is notoriously litigious .
I really looked DS. I know other people like it too. And I know people love Symphony, but it's so freaking hard for me. I've tried multiple times, and I just die instantly, and I don't have the patience at all to keep trying. There are way too many games to play.
I was very surprised by the similarity of the gameplay to the earlier games. You might say it's identical. Here's my theory: Bandai Namco tried to make something different, maybe innovative. Nintendo came around a couple of years later and was like "yeah no". And that's why they restarted from scratch: to make the same game they have before. And I think it was a mistake. I've played it three times. What's the point?
I'm astounded this is still running. It's on an irreversible trajectory to doom, and there's no reason to keep charging for DLC that will be useless any day now.
I don't know about y'all, but I'm over big game event announcement things. And I went to E3 in 2006 (which was awesome). But now they all feel like soulless cash monstrosities, especially the Summer Games Fest and The Game Awards. I just think it's all BS now.
It's interesting playing games from a couple of gens ago that had ads incorporated, and of course they've never been patched. Like Burnout Paradise comes to mind, with billboards advertising stuff from then. It's like a time capsule.
@Coalescence same. I got my PS4 many years after launch. And I finally got a Switch for ToTK, but it's my friend's used launch unit and I had to buy a new dock lol. I don't expect to buy PS5 for several years. Considering my guesses about Nintendo's plans with the Switch 2, I'll wait until they release an exclusive I actually want, like I did with the Switch.
Imo it can't come soon enough because the Switch literally can't run games. If I were to quote the headlines of the last dozen Nintendo Life reviews, probably all of them would reference the poor performance.

Madness. Absolute madness. The silver lining is that cheaper, indie titles will sell more because nobody can afford Nintendo

My real answer is that I would get the regular version on eShop when it goes on sale, but Nintendo games don't go on sale, so I'll never play it
