I disagree with all of you. This is how Nintendo continues to get away with releasing games of minimal effort. A $50 port of a 20 year-old game that itself probably cost almost nothing to make. People need to hold Nintendo to a higher standard. It's not the game I have a problem with. It's that the game costs $50 when it should cost $20.

It's Wind Waker HD again for me, no question.

I don't do AAA anymore. I play only AAAA games now.

Only played the demo. But from that, my guess would be low.

I played Clash of Heros on my PS3 originally too haha. Then I got it on Steam. Then I bought the cartridge for DS used at a games store. Then I got it in Switch haha. It's one of the very very few games I've completed more than once. But still only, like, twice total.

Very disappointed. I imagine the difficulty ramps up eventually, but I'm not sure I'd like the game much more even when it becomes more challenging. You know what IS an excellent game? Donkey Kong Jr. in Game and Watch Gallery 3.

@NicolausCamp it's incredible. Perfect, in my opinion. I invented my own challenge of "ghost" mode: complete the game without a single enemy being cautioned and investigating at all. It's hard lol.

@BloodNinja dude you're tripping. Mark of the Ninja is exceptional in every regard. It's a perfect game. Metal Gear is not only one of the greatest game series ever, and one of the greatest stealth series, but one of the greatest works of human art period. The Switch is missing Chaos Theory and Sly Cooper and Assassin's Creed 1, and that's about it.

Mark of the Ninja is one of the freaking best games ever made. Snake Eater is literally the best game ever made.

@Max_the_German the frickin' Vita had an OLED screen. That was 13 years ago. There's been an entire generation of alphas born in the meantime.

Well dang, that's the opposite of what I was hoping for. I am very much not a handheld mode player. It's already too heavy and super uncomfortable. The Lite is much better, but it can't plug into a TV, so I've gotta own two and mess with cloud saves to use the Switch how it's actually intended. With the 3DS history, this seems obvious in retrospect.

I think the risk of Nintendo waiting longer is their customers switching to PlayStation or Xbox to update their hardware to modern standards.

@LEGEND_MARIOID a year ago, I would have sworn Switch 2 was launching this past November.

I was lying in bed last night, and suddenly it hit me that a great name would be the Switch Advance.

Freaking excellent game. Couldn't stop playing it but forced myself to take my time. I tried to not guess words at all, but filled them when I was confident. I spent at least two hours towards the end translating the numbers, to where I could read it fluently.

@Debbiee oh yeah! Thanks for reminding me to pick up Heroes again! It's just sittin' there in it's case.

Woah! Yeah I definitely think they're retrofitting her to match the movie. But it's so different. Peach has a really unique look, and it's been that way for a long time. Now they're making her look more realistic, sort of. More idealistically realistic. Like an Instagram filter. Seems like they're trying to appeal to people's more natural understanding and attraction to the human face. Not a fan at all, mostly philosophically.

I was NOT expecting Disney song rock remixes

So, I'm pretty new to owning a Switch. Why could I not find speedstorm featured in some way on the eShop? I looked through all the menus, just out of curiosity, and it wasn't listed anywhere. I had to search to find it. Shouldn't it be elevated somewhere?

@Rainz thanks for your response. I hope you're right, but I'm much more pessimistic about Nintendo right now. I guess we'll see soon enough.

@Rainz if Iwata were still in charge, I'd agree with you. But since he passed, Nintendo has become extremely profit centered. Innovation is not at all important to them anymore, I feel. If we still had Iwata, I'd bet that VR would be next. But now I'm betting it's simply a Switch 2.

Aw man I loved the original so much. The only shooter I've ever gotten into other than TF2. Ridiculously, obscenely underrated. Maybe it's time for me to invest in 3.

@Rooty you're playing the first Blasphemous. A couple of tips. You'll find shortcuts throughout the world. If you can push forward in whatever direction you're going until you find one back to the base, instead of back tracking and then needing to go back again. My other suggestion is do not go up the snowy mountain first. Wait until later because the boss up there is easily 10x harder than all of the others and you might rage before you've seen most of the game.
