Re: PSA: Trading Is Finally Live In Pokémon TCG Pocket, But It's A Real Headache

You need to be able to opt into displaying your collection publicly, so when you go to trade with someone, you can pull up what they have/need. I was texting with my brother this morning, sharing screenshots of our collection to see what the other needs, and then we'd ask, ok well what do you want among those. Now we've just simplified things and will just go down the list one card at a time.

Also the only Mythical Island card I'm missing is Gyrados ex, but it's going to take forever to build up the trading tokens to be able to trade it. I get that they're trying to avoid a black market, and that they're trying to make money on a F2P game, but it feels a little excessive.

Innovative-era Nintendo died with Iwata. As did generous Nintendo. Nintendo is now completely profit focused, runs their business like a textbook, plays development safe, is greedy, and is indifferent to their fans except in how they can milk fans' nostalgia to justify unethical pricing. A $50 port of a 20 year-old game that originally cost $30 is not ok, especially when the development costs were a handful of 3D models that they already had.

@EarthboundBenjy ah, thank you so much for the clarification. That is very different. I picked up an eShop title on 3DS before I was blasted to oblivion. I'm forgetting the name, started with an F. But it's the same concept, and I really enjoyed it for a couple hours.

Fairune! Scrolled up and read more haha. Thanks @Thomystic
