Re: Switch 2 Games Cost A Bit More Than You're Probably Expecting

@LimitedPower I'm a late adopter, basically one generation behind. I waited 8 years to get a PS4. And I waited until Tears of the Kingdom to get a Switch. Which I didn't even buy; my friend gave me his launch model. I'm a big proponent of waiting. For hardware, launch kinks get worked out. Software gets patched. And the library fills with enough titles to play.

@naxuu I think many many people are going to come to the same conclusion. I think Switch 2 is going to massively underperform. And I also don't trust it to run many of these games well. I have no confidence Cyberpunk and Elden Ring will run at an acceptable performance level. And if that's the case, then there is little argument for the console at all.

@Megz3 agreed. I think the hardware argument is weak. I see basically nobody using the mouse or chat feature. The chat is obviously pretty laggy too because Nintendo has never done networking well, and still doesn't apparently. I was astounded by some of the features announced, in that I didn't know they aren't already available on Switch. Like local play with multiple systems. How is that not already a feature? The DS had it 20 years ago.
