@BlubberWhale It would be great to get 3 mil sales. From what I can find the main entries sold less than 2 mil each. Anything that makes Nintendo show more interest would be great.
Been playing the story mode in 2 player on the Hard setting, and finished most of the challenge missions with platinum. Can't wait to try the extras and do extra spicy mode.
Got Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 after the NL review. Been playing it a but this morning. Please don't buy this game! The controls are really bad and the camra has a mind of its own. It juat took 20 mins to make a very basic coaster cos the controlls are so bad.
Unless I fav an indie game once it comes out I'll probably forget about it. With Nintendo and-deep discounted indies dominating the charts, other games can quickly drop off that list.
Even the games on sale list is a massive pain to trawl through. Better search functions and game type breakdowns would be good. Player reviews would also be helpful to me.
I don't get why devs/publishers moan about Metacritic. If you got great reviews why wouldn't you use them to advertise? It's the same as film, books etc.
I like the more linear games like Galaxy and 3D world more, and think 64 is the best of the more open design. Odyssey felt like you got rewarded too much for doing very little.
@JimmySpades Most people are working from home at the moment. Nobody is saying Nintendo employees should risk their health to make games. It's just noticeable that Nintendo seem to be having a harder time than most gaming companies. You would assume that Nintendo, as a tech company, would be better suited that most companies to work remotely (other than cultural difference which have already been discussed). A change in circumstance doesn't mean anyone needs to be abused to be productive. It's just a different way of working.
It's great that Nintendo don't believe in crunch time. That might not be the reason behind current delays though, as that was happening before Covid.

Re: Review: No More Heroes - A Crude And Madcap Anime Nightmare That Deserves Your Attention
I loved the original, I'm about half way through this version and still love it. Can't wait to finish and (finally) finish the second.

Re: Nintendo Reveals The Top 15 Most-Downloaded Switch Games In October 2020 (Europe)
Pikmin 3 is doing well considering it was only out for a couple of days.Having played the new content I'm glad a double-dipped.
I want to get Hades but need to finish No More Heroes first.
Re: Eighting Helped Nintendo Bring Pikmin 3 To The Switch
Finished the epilogue. These parts are really fun and challenging. Let's hope they get to help with Pikmin 4 too.
Re: UK Charts: Pikmin 3 Deluxe Scores Top Ten Debut In Another Solid Week For Nintendo

Re: Poll: Pikmin 3 Deluxe Is Out Today On Switch, Are You Getting It?
It's on the way. Can't wait to play this again
Re: Review: Pikmin 3 Deluxe - Perhaps Not Worth A Double Dip, But The Choice Pick For New Players
Bingo Battle is worth a double-dip on this for me, plus co-op in the main game. Can't wait for my copy to arrive
Re: Feature: Best Nintendo 64 Games
Diddy Kong Racing and Snowboard Kids should be higher than Mario Kart 64.
Re: Poll: Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit Is Out Today On Switch, Are You Getting It?
The price is too high. The idea you can't buy more karts without buying a full pack is crazy.
Re: A Short Hike's Sales Have Been "Much Stronger" On Switch Compared To PC
It's a great little game. I need to play more of the side stories/quests.

Re: The Survivalists, A Follow-Up To Team17's The Escapists, Launches On Switch Today
I got one the Escapist games on sale and had no idea what was happening, or the point of the game.
Re: Hands On: Pikmin 3 Deluxe - This Wii U Classic Is Shaping Up Well On Switch
I was surprised and happy that Nintendo added harder modes instead of easier ones (DKC:TF, 2D Mario etc).
Looking forward to playing co-op and all the swearing that comes with a game of Bingo Battle.
Re: You Can Now Download A Free Pikmin 3 Deluxe Demo From The Switch eShop
@Liam_Doolan I might be a bit too old-school, but what Activision's offering aren't demos in that case (at least to me).
@Yanina It's a shame that people have to check about this stuff. It really feels like companies have normalised their crappy business practices.
Re: You Can Now Download A Free Pikmin 3 Deluxe Demo From The Switch eShop
Why does NL keep saying 'free demo'? It wouldn't be a demo if it wasn't free.
Re: Skies Of Arcadia Dev Says Remaster Or Sequel Depends On Sega
My heart raced when I saw the picture...
Then I read the headline.

Re: Lovely Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury Goodies Appear On Nintendo UK Store
That cat Peach will give me nightmares. It looks like someone skinned her and stitched her face to a cat.
Re: Review: Super Mario Bros. 35 - A Six-Month Jolt Of Life For An Iconic Classic
@Tandy255 I was thinking more about the jumping and lack of in-air control (not saying it's a bad thing, just different from newer games).
Re: Review: Super Mario Bros. 35 - A Six-Month Jolt Of Life For An Iconic Classic
We played a load of games last night. It took a while to get used to the old jump physics again. Got a 2nd place yesterday. Will try for 1st today 😊
Re: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's Next DLC Fighter To Be Revealed Tomorrow, 1st October
Goose from Untitled Goose game.
Re: Review: Ys Origin - An Awesomely Accessible And Amiable Action RPG

We have it and love local multiplayer
Re: Unrailed! Brings Chaotic Co-Op Railroad Construction To Switch Today
Loved the demo. Will be getting this later today 😊
Re: Feature: Every 3D Super Mario Game Ranked

Re: Nintendo's Switch Online Service Now Has More Than 26 Million Subscribers
It's not great but it is getting better. Tetris 99 saved the service and they keep adding more (slowly).
Re: EA Is Considering Bringing EA Play And "More Great Experiences" To Switch
They'd have to make some 'great experiences' before bringing then to Switch.
Re: Feature: All Hail The Game Boy Micro, The Sexiest And Most Impractical Game Boy Ever
I always thought it was the first true portable Nintendo machine. I could carry it everywhere without large pockets or needing extra space in a bag.
Re: Rumour: Super Monkey Ball Announcement Coming Later This Month
A re-release or remaster of the first game would be great 😊
Re: Online Retailer Cancels Orders For Super Mario 3D All-Stars Due To "Woefully Short" Supply
Whe they said it was a limited release I ordered from Nintendo. Figured they would keep their own orders and cancel others first.
Re: Review: Inertial Drift - A '90s-Style Racer With A Unique Drift Mechanic
Looks good to me. It'll go on the wish list.
Re: Ninjala's Sonic Collab Is A Limited-Time Event, And It All Kicks Off Later This Month
Is the game any good? It would be nice to hear from players rather than 'reviews'.
Re: Nintendo Reveals Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, A Game Set 100 Years Before Breath Of The Wild
I can't wait for this. It's great how the story fits within BoTW.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 5th)
AC, A Short Hike, and sometime in local multiplayer.
Re: Immortals: Fenyx Rising Launches This December, According To Microsoft
It looks really nice. Looking forward to seeing some gameplay.
Re: Nintendo Announces Super Mario Remasters And Much More In Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Direct
@Tandy255 I'd be happy with either of those options. I'd just like a complete collection in one way or another.
Re: Cat Mario And Peach Amiibo Will Claw At Your Purse Strings Next February
If amiibo actually did much in games anymore it would help.
Re: Super Mario 3D World Is Coming To Switch, Along With "Bowser's Fury" Expansion
This was the most exciting part of the presentation for me. I loved the original game. Can't wait to see the additions in more detail.
Re: Nintendo Announces Super Mario Remasters In Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Direct
I wish Galaxy 2 was included.
Re: Review: Struggling - One Of The Most Aptly-Named Video Games We've Ever Played
I don't mind gore and body parts etc. This just looks gross though.

Re: Rumour: Super Mario Remasters To Be Announced This Month, But Won't Launch On Mario's 35th
@Anguspuss I knew they loved face time culturally in the office. I never knew about the issues with using old technology.
It does seem like Nintendo are struggling more than other companies in gaming.
Re: Rumour: Super Mario Remasters To Be Announced This Month, But Won't Launch On Mario's 35th
Nintendo seem to be struggling more than anyone else with the Covid situation. I hope we get more info from them soon.
Re: Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase Appears Out Of Nowhere, Watch It Here
Nothing much of interest for me. Always good to see more games though.
Re: Sega Says It Wants To Re-Release More Past Titles On Nintendo Switch
@Zimon Yes
Re: Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition Multiplayer Is Region-Locked
So if we want to play co-op at home we have to have 2 switches, two copies of the game and two NSO subs? What a joke.
Re: Poll: What Did You Think Of The August 2020 Nintendo Indie World Showcase?
Raji and the Goose Game update are the main things I'm interested in. Everything else looked ok I guess. I was expecting Info about some bigger games.
Re: Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 Collector's Edition Listing Appears On Retailer Website
