@Joe-b I really think it depends on how well Pikmin 3 Ultimate/Deluxe/Extra/Plus/whatever sells. If it comes out before the world stops being on fire it has a real chance of doing very well. I hope Pikmin finally gets the sales it deserves, and becomes more of a priority for Nintendo.

Why is everyone talking about Pikmin 4? Did it get announced? I thought there was talk of a new Pikmin ages ago, but that turnes out to be that awful 3DS game.

@Eel As someone else said, they have interlinked histories. I haven't taken much notice of these games since the N64, so wasn't aware of the changes.

I've also found Animal Crossing one of the most stressful games. It's one of the few games you can really 'missing' stuff in as it carries on when you aren't playing.

@mr_eman I guess it depends on what you think these new games should be. It's hard to balance the past with current gaming when a franchise has been away so long.

I've been playing since it came out on WiiU. I really which they would do some dlc packs, like one every 6-9 months. Loads of people would buy it. It'd help a lot during the current world problems too.

For both AC and Pokemon I played the originals, then skipped all the versions until the latest ones. AC feels like it has grown and moved forward. Pokemon Sword felt like it had gone backwards from Pokemon Blue. It felt so empty and shallow.

Nice to see that when most normal capitalism is shut down people will make their own. It's like a drug.

@nintendork64 It is on a grid, but you 'scroll' for movement. For some reason that means I can understand my location better than before. The screen movement before felt disjointed and disorientating to me.

@stevep I couldn't get in to the Gamecube version because of the 'grid'. It made me confused and I was constantly lost. Same for games like LTTP. I final the scrolling much easier to understand.

Our copy arrived today

I didn't mind this in BOTW. You had sections for each type of weapon, and could carry a lot of each type. In AC:NH I can break 6 axes just cutting wood from trees. It all uses the same inventory space and is super annoying.

I really wanted to like the first one but it was too stressful. You had to be perfectly in front of a work station to do anything. Is this one a bit more forgiving?

Just hit 200 ponts and taking a brake. It took about 2 hours and 20 minutes. I did a load of prep yesterday for the event.

Just need to get the 300 point trophy now 😊

All of Bunny Day needs to chill. All I ever get is eggs and it's not fun.

All the things you said plus:

Reduced repetition overall, like when you catch a fish you got before. I don't need the same pun 100 times a day.

The 'random' islands need more variety. I got to at least 2 a day and they almost always have the same flowers and fruit. A lot of them look the same too.

Better durability for items. I get through 4 axes getting wood from my island each day. It makes everything a massive chore.

No. More. Wasps.

Zipper look a LOT like something from 5 Nights at Freddie's.

My Switch backlog currently stands at 40 games.

I'm really surprised how many say it doesn't have enough exclusives. It has more than the Xbox and Playstation.

I'm not finding the start slow at all.

I Hope it's in a Direct. I'm not a fan of AC and have little to look forward to on Switch right now.

This year is going to be like 2019. Not much for the first 6 months, then too many games in the second half. I really which they would spread out releases more.

I really wanted to enjoy this game but it's mostly a collection of mini-games, some of which don't work very well.

So the game didn't kill a PS4. Someone smashed it.

I don't see why people get so upset about games copying ideas. It happens all the time.

Played this at Rezzed last year. It was great fun.

I got Unbox in a sale when I was drunk. It's awful.

Still no store in the UK. Even with the madness around the pop-up Pokemon store.

All I can see now is the Game of Thrones intro but with this map.

Having played the first 10-or-so levels I couldn't disagree more with this review. The levels just don't flow very well, and it all feels a bit slow and lifeless. This is the second Yuka game and it's not an improvement on the first unfortunately.
