I hope this makes things calm down. A good friend of mine works for them, and this situation has made the most of the staff really stressed. The stupid thing is, staff raised all the concerns with management before it went public. Management ignored them and went ahead anyway. My friend has spent most of the last few days doom scrolling and getting it in the neck from others in the developer community, and worried about their job. It's important to remember that real 'normal' people work at these places and end up in the crossfire.
