Still have no interest in this game, but I had to check out this article when I saw the beautiful word "Virtua."

Wow, that's incredible. Sure, all of you guys interpret this as a bad thing, but I was ecstatic to see that it was up after the initial hour was over. I thought I'd missed it, 'cause my lady was taking forever with our errands (and I was constantly bugging her to hurry up, lest we miss the demo).

When I was able to select a character and stuff, I just thought they'd extended it, or that I'm just stupid about time zones and such. Either way, I got to play, and I was super happy about that.

I like how widely distributed it is. I voted for Dream Land 2, but I could just as easily ended up choosing Adventure, Dream Land 3, or Super Star.

I'd get Phantasy Star IV 3D in a heartbeat.

It would have been better if he was reused for N64 on Wii U Virtual Console. It wouldn't have been an unboxing, but it would at least have felt more relevant.

I find it weird that the amiibo focus on getting special gear for single player. I guess they didn't want amiibo owners to be OP online? They could still balance it out; I dunno.

Well, they messed up right off the bat; the intro screen in Super Mario Bros. (and others) is completely silent. I thought everyone knew that.

My guess is that this was done to eliminate confusion from viewers who wouldn't know any better... but whatever.

@Parasky I do. That's actually how I first experienced both Ice Climber and Balloon Fight.

When I saw the Platinum rewards, I thought with such disappointment, "But I already have almost every game I'm interested in on here!" I ended up going with Mario Galaxy 2, since I want a physical copy of Tropical Freeze, if ever I do buy it, and Crashmo and Metroid Fusion are cheaper than Galaxy 2.

Well... I liked it. Agreed about the game always being in teach mode, but that didn't stop me from enjoying it, overall.

I'm very surprised that Mega Man is still available for a fair price. Just seemed like he'd be as popular, if not more so, than Little Mac or Marth. I'm not so foolish as to let myself wait for that; I've already bought him.

It's so weird how people seem to care about this nobody anthropomorphic mascot.

Maaaan, what a shame. I never picked up ZombiU, but this sequel sounds really cool. And I understand the respect it gets from those who have enjoyed it; I may well get it, at some point.

It's not exactly what I was expecting (it'd be better if it were an original ride, for example, not a reskin), but any such attention to this great series in the US can only be a good thing

I really don't get why it doesn't even seem to be a consideration. I mean, the original point of the Link character is to be a representation or at least a connection to the human with the controller. It's in the character's name, after all. A link to the player.

If I recall correctly, that was once the point of allowing players to name the character in the first place. Somehow, Link just became his actual name, or whatever. I think a fem-Link would maybe help people to realize that.

Ganon can stay male. It'd be downright annoying if they just gender-swapped everyone, but we know there's no way Nintendo would do that.

It's the only reason I'm even considering the purchase. Thing is, though, I'd still probably never use it.
