People dissing on Inti because Mighty No. 9 sucked have never played Gunvolt, I guess. This game looks fantastic; I'm a big fan of the NES original and learned of this remake via Laser Time's stream.

Getting it on 3DS 'cause I'm not getting a Switch until late this year, at the earliest. The rumble feature sounds distracting, anyway.

Strange... I went by the Best Buy that usually acts as my Nintendo Zone of choice, but nothing happened. And the "partner's links" on Nintendo's site only act as a regular store locator, with no indication of whether the store has, uh... stopped being a Nintendo Zone? I guess?

I sure hope it doesn't switch over. I wanna play this game as soon as possible, and I'm not getting an NX, right away.

@ThanosReXXX Audrey basically has her dream job in the Treehouse. I first "met" her on IGN's Nintendo Voice Chat, where I adored her attempt at mimicking Brian Altano's "Brrap brrap!" catchphrase, of sorts. And her voice. And the way she talks and gets all emotional over particular Nintendo topics like her love of Game Boy. And "Be nice to Audrey!" She's just great, and I'm always pleased to see and hear her. Also glad she didn't stick with the platinum blonde look. She's much prettier as a brunette.

For the record, Bayonetta's hair looked better in the sequel.

I feel like Nintendo is asking for trouble, a little bit, by giving zero focus to the NX and what it is, yet making it very clear that they're shifting focus to it and pulling the plug on Wii U over a rough year's time. Just seems like E3 would be the best way to introduce everyone to the thing which supposedly will be out before the next E3, but I suppose we'll have to settle for a Nintendo Direct.

It seems that it counts games that are on sale but normally sold for an amount that jives with these rewards. I noticed that SEGA 3D Classics are on sale for $3.99, so I picked up both Streets of Rage and Gunstar Heroes. They both counted to give me 10 Gold Points each.

It's really not a big deal. I haven't even had to wear my glasses to play the game. While I'm not saying that people's issue with it doesn't exist, I do think they're getting their panties in a wad over something very minor.

I think the issue is less with the platform and more with the game not being particularly interesting.

I'd be okay with the next entry having zero guest characters, just to differentiate.

Problem is, such characters are likely boosting sales, or at least general cultural awareness of the current Smash.

I'm okay with a free-to-play amiibo game, so long as the figures themselves are the only "microtransactions" to be found. If they'd expect other sorts of payment on top of that, well... they can go jump off a cliff with that idea.

@Souldin Regarding Legend of Kay, I don't know what you were expecting. He's a C-rate anthropomorphic attempt at a mascot that hardly anyone has ever heard of, created before 3D game development stopped being the default expectation.

Schyeah, right. Devil's Third for $59.99 is supposed to be a sale? I give it no more than a month before the normal price drops to less than thirty bucks.

I agree that numbered ratings are inherently flawed, and I find that just reading the overview does a better job of achieving the review info for tl;dr types, but it sounds to me like you're confusing quality with scope.
