There is no reason to release a standalone Mario Tennis at full retail price. If it had been a new iteration of Mario Sports Mix, it might have been a different story.
I wanna make sure I'm seeing this right: is there not an option for Wii remote motion control? You only mention the sideways grip. They couldn't be bothered to add that option?
Just call her Link. As others are pointing out, the whole point of the character is to act as a "link" to the player. Giving her a stupid alteration of the name that doesn't even sound more feminine (and sounds too reminiscent of "Tingle," besides) makes it feel forced and weird.
Also, double-crossbows? Who thought of that one? It bugs me that there's a clear trend of giving girls arrows as weapons, because everyone knows they can't use swords! I know they let other female characters have swords; I know that I'm generalizing. But if she's just girl Link, they seem awfully keen to make her different from him. Maybe some view that as a plus. I think it's kinda lame.
Given that EarthBound (not to mention EarthBound Zero) finally saw the light of day on the Wuu, I figured this to be exactly where we were headed, as soon as Nintendo announced GBA Virtual Console being specifically on the home console.
Why anyone thought it was reasonable to expect Mario or Zelda is beyond me. Pikmin would have made sense, or something else where touch control is already prominent. And Miitomo makes sense, too. It just looks stupid at only first glance.
I finally picked up ZombiU. The lady's playing it, since she likes horror stuff, and we're not getting Fatal Frame right away, due to the absurd amount of hard drive space it takes up.
@seb5049 I don't know how they do it, either. Like I get that even skilled players sometimes have off days, but there is no reason why anyone in G Rank would have so much trouble with High Rank hunts.
And for goodness sake, if you died twice, do NOT come back to the battle. Go gather or something. You'd think everyone would have sense enough to do that, at least. My guess is that they're trying to prove that they don't suck, but it ends up causing more trouble, anyway.
It's not so much about having a good game to play during the Holidays, but that you won't get anyone's attention, outside of the already dedicated, without a fresh release.
But I mean, yeah, of course delaying for quality is the better option over releasing an unfinished product.
And besides, I'll be playing Xenoblade, so I'm fine, either way.
Interesting. And here I thought that the reason for the absence of online play was because the handheld market in Japan often doesn't require it. I base that belief entirely on Monster Hunter.
This is a good sign for us to get it, too, provided the title performs well.
Everyone just likes what they're already used to. The Japanese voices are fine, and this game's music isn't even like the original OST, which often works better than the Faulconer stuff. I like that stuff, too; I'm not really an elitist.

Yeah, I noticed that right away. I knew there had to be a way around it.
Re: Sega Slashes Full-Year Net Profit Projection By 90 Percent
Ouch. Welp, if the pachislot market is dying, guess you'd better get back to making real video games, eh?
Re: Nintendo's Smart Device Strategy Is About Getting People To Interact With Its IP More Frequently, Says Tatsumi Kimishima
If only Miitomo actually looked interesting...
Re: Wayforward Developer Discusses Shantae's Status as a Mascot, DLC is a possibility for Half-Genie Hero
The full interview was nice.
All I wanna know is whether her mother or father was the genie (most likely the former, but wouldn't the opposite be funnier?)
Re: FAST Racing NEO Release Date and Pricing Speed Into View
Yes, yes, and yes.
Re: Square Enix Offers Black Friday Deals, Live Now, on Its Official North American Store
Sweet. Chrono Trigger and Theatrhythm it is, then.
EDIT: Dang ol' darn! It won't let me check out with Chrono Trigger. Must have just run out, or there's an error.
Re: Chief NES Designer Describes Nintendo as an Indie Studio
Okay, buddy. Reel it in.

Ryu and a solo R.O.B., for sure! Maybe Roy, too. Maybe.
Re: Sacked Nintendo Treehouse Staffer Chris Pranger's Dialogue Has Been Removed From Star Fox Zero
That's really a shame. Fire him if you must, but I feel like that's unnecessary.
Re: Video: Check Out a Graphical Comparison for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD
Hooray! They look exactly the same. Not worth a repurchase, but I want that wolf amiibo.
Re: Star Fox Zero Launches on 22nd April, 2016
That's later even than I'd expected. Oh, well.

@TruenoGT Whoo!

I'm pretty sure it's coming here.

Jargon, jargon, jargon. Blah, blee, bloo.
Re: Nintendo Is Making Female Characters Cover Up For The Western Version Of Xenoblade Chronicles X
Fine by me. Those revealing outfits are a biiiit much. And the covered up version really does look better.

Meh.

I think we all know that Amir Anvarzadeh is right.
@Hordak I was thinking about that. It makes perfect sense, really.
Re: Dell Seems To Think Devil's Third Will Be A Low-Price Release In North America
I'll buy it for thirty bucks. Pretty sure they have Xenoblade for ten bucks off, too.
Re: Online Battles Coming to Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden in Japan
@DarthNocturnal That's a given, sir. The slow uptake you mentioned is exactly what I meant. Well, that and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.

Metroid celebrates thirty years, too, you guys...

Got back to playing it, last week. Still only High Rank.

Further study required. The goal is clear enough, but if this is all they planned for results, I am not convinced.

"Soon enough."
But that's not soon enough!

Super Butoden 2.
Re: Takashi Tezuka on Mario's Success and His Hopes for the Future of the Character
I'm honestly sick of the same visual design.
Re: Takashi Tezuka Gives His Opinion on Hard Levels Made with Super Mario Maker
Don't tell me what to do! Make us a new Lost Levels!
As long as it's fun and not needlessly cruel, harder is usually better.

Bleh.
Re: Sega Will Be Bringing a Game Gear 3DS Theme West Soon
I love the Game Gear and all, but I'm really not one to purchase themes. I have bought one, and it was because my fiancé really likes Kirby. I only use the free Monster Hunter weapons one, myself.

Agree with Vectorman and Ristar votes.
