I remember grabbing this at release. The English dub was surprisingly good and the soundtrack had a couple of bangers courtesy of ACE. The story and gameplay were enjoyable enough, though I never found anyone to play online multiplayer with, which was a bit of a shame.
"Yuzo Koshiro's schedule is quite busy and he couldn't jump into this project as Lead Composer due to schedule incompatibility and we can't and won't blame him for this. But his contribution to the project is quite significant with several tracks like the main theme of the game. Same goes for Motohiro Kawashima. We also jumped on the opportunity to bring a fresh and modern vision to the project by bringing Olivier Deriviere in."
Track list is also out. Yuzo Koshiro did 5 tracks.
My current New 3DS XL is probably my most valuable possession. I have over 200 games downloaded on it and some I've barely even touched. I still plan to get games for it and would gladly see Nintendo announce some new ones. I enjoy certain types of games on handhelds and 3DS is my choice for those over Switch because it's much more comfortable to hold and has a proper d-pad.
The graphics are turning me off somewhat. They're like the perfect uncanny valley of 2d art: not pixely enough to have the cool sprite look but not clean enough to have the beautiful anime look.
These launch discounts are just sad. Give me a 25% or even a 20% discount and I'd actually be tempted to buy the game at launch. Now I'll just wait for a real discount.
@C-Olimar I did. Level design's not that good (excluding the VR challenge levels), the graphics are almost DS quality and that one motion controlled section is horrible, but the gameplay is really solid and the parrying mechanic is super satisfying and rewarding when you master it. I also like the soundtrack.
Gonna get Color Splash and Chase discount. Finally some use for the My Nintendo coins. That said, I wish Nintendo would do the same thing with their other games as with Fire Emblem Fates and allow the coins to be used for release discounts.
Axiom Verge is way too expensive considering it's been out on other systems for a while now. Waiting for a real sale on that one and getting Federation Force.
These next 2 are really important so please consider testing them:
1. Get the Stasis rune and leave the Shrine you found it in. Find a boulder in the overworld, charge it with kinetic energy and then grab it to see if Link goes flying with it.
2. Set a bomb, shield surf over it and detonate it at just the right moment to see if Link gets a boost or just gets knocked down.
Gamereactor has been a bit more merciful, giving it 8's and 7's depending on the region. The Finnish one (8) mentioned controls, level design and difficulty levels as pros. Cons were story, voice acting and sudden deaths.
I'm a bit regretful that I backed this, but I won't slay it 'till I play it. After all, there's many games I've enjoyed despite mediocre review scores.
FINALLY. I've been waiting for that Persona Q discount for so long. Grabbing Devil Summoners and Etrian Odyssey IV seems very tempting too with those prices.
Yes. I'm pretty sure they'll nerf Bayo further, but other than that I don't know. I wouldn't mind Cloud, Rosalina and Ryu getting a few nerfs and Ganondorf, Zelda, Samus, Jigglypuff, Pac-Man and some others getting buffs.
IIRC, I haven't bought physical games since 2012. The convenience and quickness in finding and starting the game you want is just too big of a pro for me. You can also easily keep all your games with you when traveling and the game boxes don't take up precious shelf space. Having a digital game could of course be a bother if you find yourself unhappy with your purchase, but for me that's so rare that I'm willing to take the risk.
I'd very much like to see this brought over to west. Interesting to see if it takes advantage of the platform's unique properties as well as Another Code, Hotel Dusk and Last Window.
Based on the track playing on the teaser site I think it's a safe bet that Satoshi Okubo is taking care of the soundtrack. Gives off some mighty HD and LW vibes.
3D Mario, Metroid (Prime) and F-Zero plz. Don't really see a need for Zelda or Smash at launch since Zelda U is still coming out and Smash 4 is enough Smash for the next 8 years or so.
Zero Time Dilemma is my most anticipated. Second would be Federation Force. I was kinda excited for PXZ2, EO2, Bravely Second and Fates at one point, but they just seem so similar to the previous iterations that I can't help but think "why bother". Plus, I've already blasted through the best part of the first three, the soundtrack.
Oh my. That Big Blue remix sounds fantastic. Pretty happy with the track selection too, although I would've liked to see Wario Colosseum or Waluigi Pinball to come back. Still, I've never raced on Ribbon Road or Cheese Land so they're like brand new tracks to me, which is good.
Any info on if/how the Friend Vouchers work in this version of Trilogy? I never got around to unlocking all the extras so I'm wondering if I could do it with this downloadable version.
I can't even describe how happy I am right now. I've tested the Pro Controller with Brawl, but it just doesn't feel right. Now I know I'll be comfortable with Smash 4 from the get-go.

Re: Smash Bros. Ultimate Players Aren't Happy With New Online Tournament Rules
I approve. Most online players are annoying, evasive campers, so the quicker I can be done with them the better.
Re: Nintendo Download: 11th July (Europe)
With that price I can't say no to Robert named Fight anymore.

Nabbed Radiohammer, which I never remember hearing of. Been enjoying it so far, but I swear I've heard the menu sound effects in some other game.
Re: Treasurenauts For 3DS eShop Cancelled, Switch Development Remains On-Track
Lamesauce, 3DS is still my preferred console for these types of 2d games. Can't blame them though after Chicken Wiggle's sales.

Cross-platform multiplayer + motion aiming and I'm in.
Re: These Early Zelda: Breath of the Wild Concept Designs Have Us Dreaming Of A Darker Sequel

Re: Nintendo Download: 20th October (Europe)
Now THIS is a great week, even though I already own many of the games on sale. I'll be getting the following at least:
*Year Walk
*Castlevania: Circle of the Moon
*Gunman Clive HD Collection
*Pokemon Sun & Moon Demo
I'll also consider Rhythm Paradise and Majora's Mask 3D.

Curious about 3Souls, but I'll wait for reviews first.
Re: Nintendo Download: 21st July (Europe)
A Shadow's Tale is one of the few Wii titles that I've yet to get despite my interest in it, but the price is a little too steep.

@IceClimbers Well, there was Pop vs. Rock and Singing vs. Dancing. Wouldn't exactly call those bad themes.

Will they be discounted on the e-shop too? If that's the case I might get Starfox 64 3D at some point.
