Kirby: Planet Robobot could, based on our time with it so far, be a bit of a gem for the 3DS this year. Announced rather out of the blue (or pink?) in March, it sees the pink one take on mechanised foes that are disrupting his all-important nap time.
Nintendo has been getting to work early with marketing for this one, with a surprisingly early preview embargo (ours is linked below) and a few rather neat trailers. There's now a localised version of the extended overview trailer, which shows off various cool parts of the game.
Check it out below.

I honestly can't wait for this game. I already preordered the whole line of amiibo and will be preordering this on EB Games website tomorrow
I've never been this hyped for a Kirby game.
I am so excited for this!...Even if a lot of the game was already spoiled for me...but still excited!
I feel this may be better than Triple Deluxe!
I just want to try out the 3D kirby minigame.
I'm waiting for a sequel to mass attack as that was my favorite Kirby game.
Totally getting this game, but I'm saving it for a B2G1 deal along with Bravely Second and 7th Dragon III Code: VFD. This way, I will actually want all three games and not have my 3rd as a throwaway.
Day one buy, since I preordered, Kirby never disappoints. Besides Rainbow Curse a little bit😅
I wish they would bring back copy abilitiy combinations, like on the N64. Wishes aside looks fun!
I need this
I don't think anyone could want more than this.
Super looking forward to this, and I've been able to dodge spoilers so far.
@Garo
You beat me to that very comment, pal! It's going to be the perfect companion game to Triple Deluxe.
June 10th can't come quick enough! I was already sold seeing it follows in the same style as Triple Deluxe (which I utterly loved) - the additions of mechs this time round & more keychains to find / collect just sweetened the deal.
I cannot wait for this! I cannot contain my hype
This is looking great. Triple Deluxe was already really good, but this may be better.
That trailer sort of seemed to cut off a few seconds early though, kind of suddenly in the middle of gameplay. Thank goodness for NoE though. NoA never uploads trailers like this or that Star Fox history one.

Edit your comment with "[", followed by "img", then a closing square bracket ("]"), then paste the GIF's URL right after said bracket, then write again "[", a slash ("/"), again "img" and again the "]". You'll thank me later!
@AlexSora89 Thanks a bunch dood! I didn't know that
@Oat
Nobody does when they first comment. A sidebar showing how to do this and that would help a fair deal.
It's like Triple Deluxe, but you're forced to be in the robot suit just about every level, which makes the game even easier.
I'm pumped. The music is great tooooo.
@xPH03N1Xx86 The only thing I know is that a whole lot of bosses are returning. I'm excited.
Not a mech... But a RIDE ARMOR!
I can see my complaints already:
1) Not enough levels because it's so awesome anything less than 4,000 levels leaves me needing more Kirby
2) Final boss (or if there's a true final boss, that) difficulty totally outside anything else in the game by a ridiculous amount
3) Tons of nostalgia in stickers/keychains &c but still pretending Kirby 64 the Crystal Shards doesn't exist for some reason
I think I am going to day one this game looks exciting!
I was very afraid this was going to be essentially a Kirby Wii clone (such as was the fate of Triple Deluxe) except with robots replacing Super Abilities and Hypernova, but the different powers and quality throwbacks make it appear look as if HAL really stepped up to make this game unique and worthwhile, rather than taking the easy route (again?) by just adding one new gimmick and 2-3 new powers. Moreover, the robots look like they might be Mega Man X-like and more than one-trick ponies, so that's exciting! This impressive surprise is really starting to restore my faith in HAL's capacity to innovate and entertain.
