It honestly took me years to appreciate the Metroid series as a whole. My brother had always enjoyed the series, and had played most entries, but I was never able to get into them. Metroid Fusion was the first one that I played that I truly enjoyed, and years after I completed that one, I ended up playing Super Metroid and loved it. I still have so many games in the series to play though, so I have my work cut out for me. I also tried Metroid Prime Remastered and got most of the way through the game, but I ended up getting pretty bored towards the end. I think I mainly prefer the 2D entries in the series. Metroid Dread would probably be the next entry on my list.

Almost reminds me of those sweet stability updates for the Nintendo Switch. I am hungry for another one of those!

Pretty neat. At the very least, the additions will make Minecraft time with my kids a little more interesting.

I never thought the game would reach that many sales. Perhaps the continuous DLC is part of the reason why it was able to achieve such a milestone. Absolutely the definition of an evergreen title.

The number of units that the Nintendo Switch has sold up until this point has been pretty incredible. This definitely goes to show that a hybrid device is indeed the way forward for Nintendo, though they have been known to turn our worlds upside down with each console release. I am curious to see how their next hardware looks. I expect a similar item to a Nintendo Switch, but with some crazy additional features.

I already expected an initial first place finish. I am more curious on lifetime sales than anything else. I guess we will see in due time.

For me, probably either The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D or The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D. Those to me are a masterclass in remaining faithful to the source material, while still give the games a new life in functionality, and looks.

This is a close one for me, but I felt like the colors popped more on the North American variant, so that is the one I went with!

This is going to be one of those weekends where I'm honestly not really sure what game will end up playing. I have a couple games in mind, but I haven't really been feeling like playing games a whole lot recently. The only two games I would consider would be The Legend of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom on Nintendo Switch or Psychonauts 2 on PlayStation 5. Either way, I hope everyone has a great gaming weekend!

I wouldn't want anyone else in that role! I am pretty happy he is coming back because it has been one of his more recognizable roles in quite a few years.

I honestly haven't even tried the demo yet. It might be a while before I even consider trying it simply because I would only be buying this game for my kids, and they aren't typically the biggest fans of puzzle games. This game may never get a purchase in my household unfortunately.

Even if the date means absolutely nothing, it is still pretty cool that it was in the manual at all. Just another one of those cool little Nintendo things.

I have been impressed with this one from the very start, and I will more than likely secure a purchase either on PlayStation 5 or Nintendo Switch. I am vibing pretty well with this one.

For me personally, I won't even start a game that I have had the ending spoiled for prematurely. That is why I am very careful about spoilers for games that I have a genuine interest in playing.

I could have sworn this was already confirmed, but I am happy nonetheless. This will be a much closer trip if I decided to drive there by car. It would save me a ton of money though cost me more time. Road trip!

It is definitely a pretty detailed figured. I love the color palette.

The colors are actually pretty sweet. It has been many years since I have played Shovel Knight though, so I can't say that I am a huge fan of the franchise as whole.

Conveniently enough, I have the Mario Kart Capri Sun drinks in my fridge. About a dozen of them to be honest. They aren't for me though, they are for my son, I promise. 😉

I had the North American variant when I was a kid, but I actually prefer the European variant box art. It looks so much cooler. Wish my copy has that box art.

Stardew Valley, the game that keeps on giving. I haven't played the game since I first got it on Xbox One, but all of this new content is great for continual players. I think I would be slightly overwhelmed if I played the game with all of this added content. I am one of those people that want to experience most of a game's content in a reasonable amount of time, and I know this game has more content than I could get through.

I didn't even know that co-op was included. That is a pretty neat addition and pushes me a little closer to a purchase. Perhaps when the game goes on discount, I will consider it.

I have kind of fallen off playing my PlayStation 5 at the moment, and I have been primarily been playing my Nintendo Switch currently. I have been diving back into The Legend of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom again to continue the storyline, and explore some more areas I haven't seen. I also have plenty of great quests to continue and I have been having fun playing the game in different ways each time I take a break and come back. I hope everyone has a great gaming weekend!

I would probably say yes as long as it doesn't hike up the prices. I think colorful cartridges made the Nintendo 64 a more enjoyable system to play. As an example, popping in a yellow cartridge for Donkey Kong 64 made that game stand out in comparison to some others. The same goes for Spider-Man 64. One of my all time favorite games, and I adored the red cartridge on that one.

Backwards compatibility will determine when I end up purchasing the next Nintendo console. I still have a bunch of Nintendo Switch games that I need to play/purchase before I am ready to move onto the next generation of Nintendo hardware. Having backwards compatibility would allow me to buy one at launch (if I have the money) without worry. I am not too hopeful on that feature being present in the first place though.

Absolutely the end of an era. I never really played my Wii U online very much, but there were so many instances where I was playing most of my Nintendo 3DS library online on a regular basis, and I met some cool people that way. It helped that the Nintendo 3DS had a pretty stellar catalogue of games after the first year of its launch. Too many great games to count.

As he should be, his work has made a permanent mark on the gaming industry in general, and an even bigger permanent mark on many people's hearts throughout the years. Thank you Koji Kondo!

I am kind of surprised that Super Smash Bros Ultimate is still getting new spirits, especially from the titles listed. Very cool for those still playing the game, though I didn't get too far into the other game modes. I mainly only really like to play the game with my kids. Tag-teaming our adversaries is so fun at times.

I will probably end up watching it to be honest. I always enjoy orchestrated Zelda music.

Personally, I am more interested in playing PalWorld over playing any of the newer entries of Pokemon. The game itself looks like a breath of fresh air for the genre. I'll only get to play it if it ever comes to PS5.

I honestly think the game looks pretty awesome. I am not a big Pong fan by any means, but this looks pretty fun.

I am definitely voting for the North American Classic Series even though it isn't exactly representing the final product. I just love the realistic Samus armor, and think it would make for a great box art on somebody's shelf.

I have never traded in a Nintendo Switch game, and I honestly don't think I ever will. I have only returned one game as well, but that was because of a poor purchase decision of mine.

Honestly, a few of the games on this list should have already been released on the service by now. I am in particular pretty desperate for the Gex trilogy to appear on the service, though I know that series has been stuck in licensing limbo for a long time. I still keep holding out hope though.

I have it on my Nintendo Switch though I haven't played it yet. I would be more likely to purchase this game on PS5. I do think the game itself though looks very promising.

I will be continuing my journey through Psychonauts 2 on PlayStation 5 and I will be enjoying every minute of it. I have finally gotten out of the initial hub area and I am able to explore to my heart's content. I also completed the main story in Super Mario Bros Wonder on Nintendo Switch last night and I was pretty pleased with the final boss fight. I still have more levels to complete, and secrets to collect. And even though I am playing 2 platformers, they are distinctly different in many ways, which is helping keeping me interested. This one is another clear winner for me. The North American/European variant is much more focused and achieves it's goal of letting the players know what they will experience while playing the game. Easy vote for sure.

I finished Lies of P on PlayStation 5 yesterday evening, and I ended up starting Psychonauts 2. I have been enjoying revisiting all of the characters from the first game, as well as meeting some new ones. I have barely gotten started though! Many more adventures to be had. Happy gaming everyone!

Since there is a demo, I will probably try that first before purchasing. I have a tendency to not enjoy some indie games that others give praise.

25 hours is what I am looking for in most videos games I play these days. Long enough to get your enjoyment out of it, but not too long for the gameplay to become stale.

I think he did a pretty awesome job voicing Mario in Super Mario Wonder. He seems like a pretty decent guy too.

I mean, I am not completely surprised. He would make a pretty comical Steve. I am pretty interested, at the very least to see this movie with my kids.

Japan has produced an overwhelming majority of the votes, and I am honestly not surprised. I am a sucker for Mario characters though. The Japanese variant gets my vote as well.

I honestly don't blame him. When someone has a passion that drives them, it can be hard to contemplate retirement even when good people are there to take your place when you are done. I admire the man's work ethic.
