That is good news at least, though I expected nothing less. That should honestly be an expectation, not a welcome surprise.

I don't really think I will be playing too many games this weekend. I haven't been feeling up to playing any games the last few weeks. I have been focused more onw watching streamers and my home life. Maybe I will play a little of Minecraft on one of the online servers. For those that do game this weekend, happy gaming!

It really is a shame that there is no upgrade path for those who purchased the Nintendo Switch version. I would gladly pay a fee to play it on Nintendo Switch 2 with mouse support. This type of game would greatly benefit from that.

To be honest, I didn't have a very difficult time getting one. I got mine at Wal-Mart and the process went pretty smoothly.

This was one of the few announcements that actually got me a little excited. I will have to see more details before I know for sure if I am interested. Donkey Kong Bonanza looks pretty great as well.

Honestly, when I think back on my experiences with these games as a kid, it feels like a mixer of an acid trip and a blur. Great times, but I can't recall all of the details years later.

That is a darn shame. I actually really enjoyed Dauntless but I fell off after about 60 hours. This is the trend of most live service games these days besides the major ones.

Even though both systems are primarily handheld devices, they are both aiming for two completely different markets so this is no surprise to me. I love my Steam Deck OLED, and I know I will enjoy the Nintendo Switch 2. I don't put them in the same bracket.

I will probably pass on this one. I actually really enjoyed Pokemon Legends: Arceus but the setting in this one isn't super interesting to me. I never liked Lumiose City in the first place. I also enjoyed the more primitive time period in the first game as well.

Honestly, this makes me really sad. I truly enjoyed using gold points on some of my purchases and I will really miss them. Hopefully Nintendo will be replacing it with something else.

I will definitely be watching it. I love all of that Sonic movies, and I really enjoyed the Knuckles show on Paramount+.

I am actually a little interested in this game, though I will probably be picking it up on Steam Deck OLED instead of Nintendo Switch.

I will always prefer a more game-play oriented Zelda game over one that prioritizes story. Honestly, in my opinion, most of the Zelda games I have played already have plenty of lore hidden within. The only Zelda games I have played in recent years that I felt were a bit light on story elements was The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Maybe it is just because those are larger games with a high focus on game-play and their larger worlds. Most Zelda games I have played have plenty of story to go around.

I personally am just holding out for the Steam Deck 2 and the Nintendo Switch 2. I can't really see a world in which I would want to own a Xbox handheld.

I personally prefer the more colorful version of the Japanese variant. I don't think either image is a great representation of what the game is all about though.

Am I safe to assume that this control option can't be swapped? I honestly haven't played too much of this series besides Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time and Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. I do love both of those games though. They are incredible RPG experiences.

I am pretty stoked to play this game on Steam Deck OLED. I have the trailer a few times back to back and I cannot get enough. I have always loved Dragon Quest though, and I haven't played this one yet. This will be a completely fresh experience for me.

Well, I just finished playing The Upturned on Steam Deck so I may be playing Smushi Come Home next on the same system. I have been pretty addicted to shorter games that pack a punch in terms of content, and it finally went on sale so I just couldn't resist. Happy gaming everyone!

While he is certainly correct, the ideas spawned from his brain has captured the imaginations of gamers for generations. The impact he has made on the gaming industry can never be overstated.

I keep debating back and forth if I want to install it on my smartphone. My brother has been using it, and he has had positive things to say. My phone is just getting older, and I want to keep its storage space for essential apps so I am going to have to decide if I consider this one to be an essential app.

At this point, the only reason why I still have the expansion pack membership is for my kids. I would much prefer the lower tiered membership option. That would sacrifice some of my kids' gaming enjoyment, and I can't do that.

146 million units sold for hardware that is to be quite honest very dated at this point is very impressive. Sales crawling to a stand still was to be expected though. Too many people are just waiting for Nintendo to announce their next console.

I voted February for my guess on the Nintendo Switch 2's announcement, but that was more of an educated guess than anything. It doesn't really matter to me personally when it gets announced anyway. I have been enjoying my Steam Deck OLED far too much to worry about a new Nintendo system.

I will always be thankful for Michael Ancel's involvement in the creation of Rayman 2: The Great Escape. That was and still is one of my favorite platformers ever. It was so different in comparison to everything else I was playing back then.

I'm glad he got it back. Losing something that valuable can be stressful. I wonder if it was returned in the same condition?

That is excellent. I personal didn't enjoy Paper Mario: The Origami King's combat gameplay very much, so I ended up falling off of playing that game about half-way through. I honestly haven't played very many Paper Mario games. I enjoy their charm, but I usually enjoy them from afar.

It was nice while it lasted. I am surprised someone lasted that long to be honest.

Top five is an easy recommendation for The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap in my opinion. It might be one of my favorite full realized top-down Zelda games. From the musical score, the game-play, to the unique items you get to use. The game has it all. And it is bolstered by the Minish and the tiny Link game-play. It is a very well-rounded Zelda game.

I have already played the game myself so I will not be double dipping. I didn't particularly care for the game, and I was one of the people that bought the collector's edition. This is fantastic for newcomers though!

This wouldn't surprise me. Anything Pokemon, (and specifically Pokemon cards) seems to be on the rise, so this is the result I expected. I am sure The Pokemon Company is happy.

That added feature is an epic addition that most people probably wouldn't have thought of. I appreciate that.

I am pretty late to the party but I finished up Crow Country on Steam Deck, and I also started/finished Lil Gator Game on Steam Deck as well. Both were great experiences but I sort of enjoyed Lil Gator Game more because of the poignant message it gave. It left a better lasting impression on me.

I honestly prefer the Japanese variant over the latter. I love the flipped character images. This one was absolutely an easy vote for me.

This is a pretty close one for me. I ended up voting for the Japanese/European variant though since it has that beautiful blue background. The yellow background of the North American variant didn't look as pleasing to my eyes.

I finished up Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night on Steam Deck (which I adored), and now I am currently playing Quake 2 on the same system. This is my first time playing that game, and it has been so addictive. And the QOL improvements that have been made makes the game feel more modern.

I already have this game on my wishlist on Steam. For the quality of product you get, the price is absurdly cheap.

The Japanese variant is far superior in this instance, at least to my eyes. And it seems an overwhelming majority of voters agree. This was a fun vote though!

In my opinion, those aren't exactly the best courses they could have added. I wouldn't have selected those as a first choice but my son will probably still want them.
