Capcom has really been on their A-game lately in their gaming sector and I am here for every minute of it! They have multiple games that I want to play this year. Resident Evil Requiem, Pragmata, and Onimusha: Way Of The Sword. So much gaming goodness from them lately!
My favorite Pokémon spinoff is probably New Pokémon Snap for sentimental reasons. My girlfriend doesn't play very many video games, but we spent countless hours finding every available secret in that game.
Very nice! I adored this game on PS5 and I am super stoked for the sequel. If you like adventure games with light puzzles and decent combat. this one is for you! The character/world animations are also incredible. The game looks straight out of a Pixar movie.
Well deserved as far as I am concerned! I have been loving seeing a bit of a resurgence from Capcom. and I am here for it. They have always made some of my favorite games.
This was a pretty cool little interview! I am sure it must feel incredible to get to embody such a popular character in a storied franchise. That is the dream of many!
I honestly don't know if The Pokémon Company has the creativity to completely start over like that. And honestly, a ton of people buy the new games so they can have a little bit of nostalgia and bring back some of their old Pokémon into their party. I feel like when Pokémon Winds/Waves comes out, I will mainly stick to new ones so I have a pretty fresh experience. I also don't play every game in this franchise so I have that going for me as well.
My original one actually does, which I had the white model. That being said, I bought a red one more recently and that is the main one I use. My white one isn't in as blood of shaper as I wish it was. I was a little careless with it a couple years back.
Whoa. I honestly never thought I would see a 3D Super Meat Boy game. I don't know if I have the patience for this seriesa anymore, but I hope it does really well. It looks pretty darn good to be honest.
For nostalgia's sake, I chose Gen I as my vote. I don't really have too much of an opinion on Pokémon in general but I had too many good times with the first generation that I just had to vote for that one. I looked at all of the box arts and none of them really stood out to me.
Spiderman: Separation Anxiety was always one of my favorite Sega Genesis games as a kid. My brother and I played it constantly. I don't know if I would want to revisit the game though. I feel like I would rather look back on those moments with rose tinted glasses of nostalgia rather than taint more of my precious memories. I haven't played any of the other games. At least, not that I remember!
Nice. The Nintendo Music app is starting to have quite a good collection of music. I usually boot up the app when I'm wanting to take a small trip down nostalgia lane.
This has been the story of Mario Tennis for as long as I can remember. The franchise always starts mildly strong and ends up dropping off pretty quickly.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup In Bellabel Park just rolls right off the tongue doesn't it? At this point, some game titles are giving anime titles a run for their money. 😅
I like the extra characters in color palette of the Japanese variant, but I can't get past how much I like the classic gold of the North American/European variant. That one gets my vote for sure.
I don't really think I will personally be buying any classic games that would belong in a Virtual Console. I am mainly focusing on newer experiences. I think I may have had my fill of GBA games.
I will probably be mainly continuing my playthrough of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain on PS5 for most of the weekend. I doubt I will be playing anything else!
I honestly can't remember exactly when I first started playing it but my first memory is playing The Legend Of Zelda at my grandparent's house when I was a kid. My first time owning a Zelda game was when I got The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time. Hopefully that counts.
@Cyrax77 You are not wrong. That is the world we live in. I for one am accepting of anyone else's tastes and hold no judgement for others. I can see both sides, so I guess that is a blessing in this modern world.
@TheRazor I feel like a lot of people forget the roots of that game. That is not to say that the game's bad or anything like that, it's just that it wasn't up my alley in comparison to my previous experience. On its own though, it's still a really great game.
My brother and I actually have the collector's edition of the Wii U version of this game. And I happen to have it on my shelf in my game room, still all intact. For me personally, this game was pretty polarizing when I first played it. It didn't feel very much like the first Xenoblade Chronicles so I didn't really enjoy it nearly as much. I wonder if that would have changed if I played it now instead of back then.
Cool. It's always nice to have more music on the Nintendo Music app. I honestly haven't played either of those Pokémon games though, so I don't have much nostalgia for it.
That Pikachu kind of looks similar to a stuffy that I had when I was a lot younger. Obviously that one back then wasn't an animatronic, but the similarities are striking. I guess that really shouldn't be a surprise though, because Pikachu's had a pretty similar design throughout its entire history.
I personally don't have much of an interest in revisiting this part of Nintendo's history, but I can see how some other people would like to. Nostalgia is a powerful thing, and seeing one of Nintendo's greatest failures for yourself can be pretty illuminating.
@Dm9982 Thank you so much for those extra little details! I haven't heard of Grim Dawn myself though I honestly don't play many isometric games besides Diablo! They can be quite a time sink sometimes!
Kristen Bell is definitely a pretty good choice for Amy's actress as far as I am concerned! The Sonic movies are starting to get very star-studded! And I am loving every minute of it!
I missed the Nintendo Direct so I honestly didn't even know this game existed. That being said, it really isn't up my alley in the first place so I doubt I would have played it regardless. It is a neat idea though it seems to be executed rather poorly.
I am personally wondering what about the game is unique enough to stand out against the eShop's crowded game library in the first place. It looks fine, but I don't see anything about it that is different than other isometric action RPGs.
The bigger ones definitely have more detail than the smaller ones. Some of those look genuinely nice. Too bad my game room is full of stuff at this point and I am in a spot where I have to be picky with the additions I make in my room.
Literally every single poster in this list is awesome. All of them have cool details from the Super Mario universe. My favorite one though is the Mario one at the very beginning. I love the beam of light coming out from behind his fist.
My favorite horse that isn't mentioned on this list is Shadowmere from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. My favorite overall will always be Epona though!
I honestly didn't even like this game when it first released, so I can't see myself playing it again. Time rewind mechanics on a puzzle platformer just aren't super interesting to me.
I adored this game on PlayStation 5, and even though I wouldn't pick it up again Nintendo Switch 2, I feel like more people need to experience this game. Putting the fan service to the side, it's an incredible action adventure game. It's probably my favorite PlayStation 5 game to be honest. I can't wait for a future sequel!
I honestly don't really care too much about Pokémon beyond the first generation, but I would always that I do have a soft spot for Lugia. I have many good memories of playing Pokémon SoulSilver when I was younger, and my brother would play Pokémon HeartGold. We would walk around with the little PokéWalkers and collect our steps quite often and we both still have ours. I have no idea if they still work though. The batteries probably died out a long time ago.
I am mildly excited for this game myself. I just hope it does enough to stand out in a sea of third person action adventure games. I will wait for reviews to see if this game does enough to peak my interest, but for now I will chalk this one up to a maybe. IO Interactive working on this does leave me hopeful though.
I live in North America and I have to give the win to the European variant this time. That particular box art is much more colorful than the North American version and it would probably stand out more on store shelves.
It is nice to not see another report about a GKC. There would be no excuse to put a game like this on something like that though many developers choose to do so for cost cutting measures.
The price tags attached to these pinball machines are far too pricy for me. I could never afford one of these though they look pretty nice. I don't know how the prices on these compare to similar products.
I still haven't tried out the demo myself. I'm definitely going to be trying it out very soon and seeing if I like the game. I am pretty stoked for the game overall. I already have it on my wish list. Depending on how the demo goes will determine if I end up buying it at launch, or waiting a little bit longer.
I'll definitely be watching the second movie in theaters. My whole family had such a great time with the first one that we won't be missing the second unless for some reason one of them doesn't want to watch it.
I'm not a very complicated guy when it comes to Pokémon. I decided to just settle on Bulbasaur, but honestly there's too many that I would choose that I like just as much. That's just the first one that came to mind.
I started my weekend with getting 100% completion on Doki Doki Literature Club + on PS5 and I am also playing Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain on the same system. I might play a few other games but I have been pretty happy with my weekend so far!
I am honestly getting mildly excited for The Duskbloods. I think I will go watch the trailer again to remind myself of the vibe this game is going for!
