146 million units sold for hardware that is to be quite honest very dated at this point is very impressive. Sales crawling to a stand still was to be expected though. Too many people are just waiting for Nintendo to announce their next console.

Awesome. I will end up playing that game myself as well, but I don't know when. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

I voted February for my guess on the Nintendo Switch 2's announcement, but that was more of an educated guess than anything. It doesn't really matter to me personally when it gets announced anyway. I have been enjoying my Steam Deck OLED far too much to worry about a new Nintendo system.

I will always be thankful for Michael Ancel's involvement in the creation of Rayman 2: The Great Escape. That was and still is one of my favorite platformers ever. It was so different in comparison to everything else I was playing back then.

I'm glad he got it back. Losing something that valuable can be stressful. I wonder if it was returned in the same condition?

That is excellent. I personal didn't enjoy Paper Mario: The Origami King's combat gameplay very much, so I ended up falling off of playing that game about half-way through. I honestly haven't played very many Paper Mario games. I enjoy their charm, but I usually enjoy them from afar.

It was nice while it lasted. I am surprised someone lasted that long to be honest.

Top five is an easy recommendation for The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap in my opinion. It might be one of my favorite full realized top-down Zelda games. From the musical score, the game-play, to the unique items you get to use. The game has it all. And it is bolstered by the Minish and the tiny Link game-play. It is a very well-rounded Zelda game.

I have already played the game myself so I will not be double dipping. I didn't particularly care for the game, and I was one of the people that bought the collector's edition. This is fantastic for newcomers though!

This wouldn't surprise me. Anything Pokemon, (and specifically Pokemon cards) seems to be on the rise, so this is the result I expected. I am sure The Pokemon Company is happy.

That added feature is an epic addition that most people probably wouldn't have thought of. I appreciate that.

I am pretty late to the party but I finished up Crow Country on Steam Deck, and I also started/finished Lil Gator Game on Steam Deck as well. Both were great experiences but I sort of enjoyed Lil Gator Game more because of the poignant message it gave. It left a better lasting impression on me.

I honestly prefer the Japanese variant over the latter. I love the flipped character images. This one was absolutely an easy vote for me.

The saga of having to find as many different devices as possible to play Doom on continues...

This is a pretty close one for me. I ended up voting for the Japanese/European variant though since it has that beautiful blue background. The yellow background of the North American variant didn't look as pleasing to my eyes.

That number is actually pretty darn impressive! Sounds like we may have a winner on our hands!

I finished up Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night on Steam Deck (which I adored), and now I am currently playing Quake 2 on the same system. This is my first time playing that game, and it has been so addictive. And the QOL improvements that have been made makes the game feel more modern.

I already have this game on my wishlist on Steam. For the quality of product you get, the price is absurdly cheap.

The Japanese variant is far superior in this instance, at least to my eyes. And it seems an overwhelming majority of voters agree. This was a fun vote though!

In my opinion, those aren't exactly the best courses they could have added. I wouldn't have selected those as a first choice but my son will probably still want them.

Most of my gaming purchases these days are digital due to space limitations. Ideally, true ownership would be the best case scenario, but that is a pipe dream.

In the grand scheme of things, this is probably the best case scenario. Nintendo just wants to be as prepared as they possibly can. I understand people's eagerness to enjoy the next piece of Nintendo hardware, but hopefully the longer wait will pay off in the end.

This game's release on Nintendo Switch honestly makes my last minute purchase of the game on Nintendo 3DS (before the eShop shuttered) meaningless!

I am pretty curious to see how this situation plays out. It might be a good long while before a verdict is made based on how the court system works. This could absolutely change the future of emulation depending on how this goes down.

That pretty much goes without saying. I wish they would have released the game a few months prior to Super Mario Bros. Wonder. I wonder what the sales on the game would have been if they had done that.

I might pick it up on a deep discount on Steam eventually. I have plenty to play in the meantime. To be honest, I didn't even know that this game existed.

This is definitely not surprising, but it is very welcome nonetheless! A bunch of people loved the original because of its more fresh approach to Pokémon as a whole. Glad to see this.

I honestly didn't have any interest in any of these games, so I didn't end up playing any of them over the weekend.

I am pretty late to the party, but I ended up playing a couple of my childhood favorites, Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus and its sequel, Sly 2: Band of Thieves. These games hold up incredibly well in today's age. Still love them. I hope everyone had a great weekend of gaming, and for those of you who may potentially have a 3 day weekend, I am envious!

They are all so different! I voted for the European variant though! That version has the best color palette for my eyes.

I will absolutely be picking this one up on Steam Deck OLED. It is going to be an awesome time.

I don't buy amiibo figures very often, and even though I adore Kingdom Hearts and all the series represents, I can't justify paying for another figure that will just sit on my shelf and never be used. I am kind of past my collecting phase.

@120frames-please I have no doubts that I will enjoy the system! This will also be one of my first experiences with Steam in general, so the experience will be pretty fresh right from the get-go.

I am not sure how much gaming I will do this weekend besides possibly F-Zero 99 on Nintendo Switch. I bought a Steam Deck OLED yesterday and I have been too eager waiting for that to want to play anything else! Happy gaming as always everyone!

Mr. Krabs would absolutely be one of my mains in the game if I actually had it. His move-set would probably be pretty darn cool to see in action.

It was pretty cool as a whole! I am glad I set a reminder to catch it! There is nothing quite like reliving some of your favorite childhood Zelda songs, especially because of the emotions that can re-emerge.

@sdelfin Exactly! Shared experiences is one of my favorite things about gaming in general. Knowing other people may have had similar experiences, or sometimes seven wildly different ones, even in a linear style game!
