How do you transfer miis from your 3DS to the Switch anyway? This would only be worth it on the Switch if I could transfer because I've barely created any Miis on the Switch.

I've seen options mentioning amiibo scanning, but is there any other way? (my 3DS can't scan amiibo)

@COVIDberry It's been a while since I played but I don't remember anything unusual happening, no game breaking bugs and the performance seemed fine.

Played this on PC, I'd definitely recommend it.

It was definitely a unique experience, I haven't played a game like it.

If anyone wants to play as the Crewmate from Among Us in another "smash-like" game. There's a mod for Rivals of Aether (on PC) that adds them. (along with mods for other characters like Rayman, Bomberman, Phoenix Wright, Garfield etc)

Also a mod for Crash Bandicoot is releasing soon as well.

@FroZtedFlakerZz To be fair, Castaway Paradise was a thing before we even knew about New Horizons.

The Animal Crossing comparisons are obviously fair though.

I only have the Mewtwo amiibo but I'm severely tempted to pick up the Banjo & Kazooie amiibo.

Paradise Killer was a great game with an even more amazing soundtrack. (seriously check it out even if you don't think you'll play the game)

Also Murder by Numbers is great if you love Ace Attorney and puzzles. (ditto for Aviary Attorney) The game was actually made by the same studio that made Fall Guys.

Lastly, I played it years ago but To The Moon is also a very special game.

In fairness to Blathers falling asleep, he also doesn't seem to take any holidays. That poor bird seems to be working 24/7.

@sanderev I haven't beaten very hard, but I came close with Min Min.

Sephiroth becomes very easy to defeat if you hit him a lot with Min Mins dragon arm. Just make sure he doesn't get close to you. (which is harder to do on very hard mode)

Probably won't go for any of the Kanto Pokemon.....

I'd love if they sold one with Yamask on it.

I've only played one Warriors game before. (on the PS2) I'm not sure if it's changed much since then but I don't think this is for me. I find them too repetitive.

Got 10 out of 12. Surprisingly since I wouldn't consider myself that knowledgeable about Pikmin lore.

I got the metal Pikmin wrong (picked mushroom) and also the one about the home planet from Pikmin 3. (which makes sense since I haven't played that one, just the first two Pikmin games)

I'm not too worried, it's too soon for generation 9 so I'm still expecting either a second expansion pass or a gen 4 remake.

(or at least some kind of game that brings these Pokemon back)

I'm kinda torn between getting Ikenfell or Paradise Killer right now. They both look really cool.

Also not on Switch but I've playing a lot of Rivals of Aether too.

And....I've just gotten the island designer tool in New Horizons so I might be doing some town designing in Animal Crossing as well.

Mugen isn't a smash-like game though. I generally don't have an interest in fighting games outside of Smash.

@Snatcher I got this game the other day on PC, and the reason was largely because I wanted to try making a mod for it. (so modding support was always going to be a big thing for me) I mean also because it looked like a fun smash-like fighter. (and it is)

The only advantage I see the Switch having is if portability is really important to you.

I don't know how I got 7/12, most of it was just guesswork.

I went into this thinking I'd definitely vote for the Europe one because of nostalgia...but the Japanese one seems way more dynamic and thought out to me.

Also it includes Vivian on the box art, so that's a massive plus.

I like the virus designs on the Japanese one more, but I prefer the look of the western one overall.

Kind of a tight one but I went with the western design.

Playing the beta weekend of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout on PC. It's heaps of fun.

It's like Takeshi's Castle in game form.

I got a huge bundle of games from Itch.io about a week ago....so right now I'm playing a game called Underhero.

I'd definitely recommend it, it's a bit like Paper Mario (RPG with action commands) with platforming elements. Also it's really funny.

(Not sure if it's on the Nintendo Switch, but it seems like the sort of game that would be, or at least should be)

Though from the looks of the comments so far, not that much of an achievement.

@Heavyarms55 If there's anything related to this weeks DLC it'll probably be like "X pokemon is appearing more often in raids on the isle of armor from now until Y date". (or even just a general announcement that it's on sale)

So, not really anything too exciting.

I wonder what else we could see, seems a bit early for them to go into any more detail on the Crown Tundra.

I don't know why but my expectations going into this feel lower than usual, I'm getting a vibe that it won't be entirely video game related. On the other hand it would make some sense that whatever is going to show up here is what they had planned to reveal at E3.

Do they mean the levels will scale to the Pokemon you have in your team or that the levels will scale to the level of Pokemon you have access to?

Like if I've completed the main game but I show up with level 5 Pokemon will they still throw out level 60 Pokemon?

I got Beau, Buck and Angus wrong. I thought Beau was called Bam for some reason. (I think there's another deer called Bam?)

I just looked it up and for some reason I thought Super Mario Galaxy was more recent. 2007....wow.

I thought it would have been 2009 for some reason.

I already tried playing Persona 5 on my PC through that Sony streaming service...but I didn't want to keep up with the subscription. (I just used the trial week)

It must be on it's way to Switch, eventually though now right? If it can come to PC.

Although it was more from process of elimination + lucky guessing than actually....knowing many of these games.

The only time I even visit Metacritic these days is whenever there's news of some game getting review bombed.

That site is seriously low down on my list of "people who's opinion about games I care about".

Clearly the review bombing is doing nothing seeing as Animal Crossing is at number one again in the UK.

I had this game. I never ended up finishing it though. I remember thinking it was a really unique game at the time.

Is it even possible to buy this game digitally for PC? (I'm pretty sure I played it on PC)

@SwitchForce I'm pretty sure this game was around before we even knew Octopath Traveler was a thing.

Atlus feel like such an oddball of a company.

They must have no intention of putting Persona 5 on Switch because I can't understand how they wouldn't already know people want Persona 5 (and other Persona games) on Switch.

I thought this one stood out and looked really fun.

I'm just imagining poor Blathers opening his museum and then we walk in with a huge trailer full of bugs.

The Good Life, Baldo and I Am Dead look the most exciting to me. Also I almost forgot but Wingspan is also interesting...is it like a birdwatching simulation game?

Also, Ghost of a Tale is a game I've always looked at but never got around to picking it up. Is it good?

Didn't they have a treehouse presentation once outside of E3? It was only like....maybe they could do something smaller like that this time?

I'm a little conflicted about this...

Ace Attorney is easily my favourite game series ever....but I don't really care for Picross.

I do like having skill trees in games, but I never felt like this game needed anything like that.

I hope they don't lock villagers behind amiibo cards again. That's the only thing I'm hoping for..

I don't mind as much if they're crossover villagers (like the Zelda or Splatoon ones) I just hope it's only those kind of villagers locked behind amiibo.

Sprocket seems to be in the base game so maybe they won't be locked behind amiibo.

I think ban appeals is a good idea. I mean maybe the 900 bans made so far are legitimate and were carefully looked over....but I doubt they're going to be as careful going forward...slip ups are bound to happen eventually.

On the idea of cheating, personally I don't mind if people do it in a single player game. It never really made sense to me why some people get upset over what someone else is doing in a single player game.

@oatmaster I think it's worse to cheat when it gives you an advantage over another person. (being stronger/faster than them, getting items for free, that kind of thing) Anything else and you're only really cheating yourself.

I think it'll be Bayonetta 3, Nier: Automata and maybe a new IP.

Though I think it's likely that Bayonetta 3 will be the big finish which would steal the thunder from a new IP (unless it's super impressive)

It's certainly an interesting collection of trademarks.

Not hoping for anything but seeing these being rereleased on Switch would be awesome.

I'd give it to the American version.

Though overall I'd choose the cover for the 3DS remaster.

I feel like E3 is only important to me because Nintendo is there. If they weren't there I wouldn't have any reason to care about it.

I really doubt we'll be getting a Pokemon as our 5th fighter pass character since last year Reggie stated that the fighter pass were going to be characters people wouldn't expect...

and I can't imagine many characters that would be expected more than another Pokemon fighter.

@Lalivero There's a picture going around that shows what Pokemon have returned and which ones are out. You could probably find it on reddit easily enough and still avoid spoilers.

Without spoiling anything here, I think this is my favourite generation for new Pokemon now. At the very least its on par with gen 5. People who are aren't spoiling themselves are in for a ride when they get their copy.
