With several DLC fighters still to be confirmed, plenty of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fans will still be hopeful that their favourite characters are about to make the cut. With internet sensation Among Us selling so well on Switch, could one of the game's crewmates be a genuine contender?
YouTube user ユタカ has decided to take this theory and run with it, creating a seriously impressive mod which adds four variants of the Among Us protagonist into Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This isn't a simple re-skin of an already-existing character, by the way, this is a completely new fighter with unique moves strutting their stuff alongside the game's original cast.
You can check it all out in the video below; you'll see plenty of gameplay with the character, as well as a fancy mock trailer in the style of Smash Ultimate's official reveals.
It's unlikely that Among Us will get a playable fighter spot in Ultimate – the characters coming to Fighters Pass Volume 2 were decided a long time ago – but do you like the idea of crewmates and imposters being involved in some form? Who else are you hoping to see? Let us know down below.

How many times must i say it? Among us will not get in smash! It blew up AFTER sakurai said "fighter pass 2 time!" and they had already decided the fighters so im not sorry when i say no among us for smash

The best fans can hope for is new spirits. Unless they decide to do a 3rd fighters pass, this won't happen for the reason pointed out in the article.

@1ofUs Among Us came out in June 2018, so there's still a very good chance Among Us will officially come to Smash. Hopefully they will remove Waluigi and replace him with the crewmate. Don't panic though, the rest of the 2nd Pass fighters will have swords.

@Snatcher How many times must I say it?! There will be at least 6 fighter passes, or until EVERYONE is here, whichever comes sooner. Sakuari has a Pachinko problem and also needs to buy enough caffeine to work 23 hours a day.

I would love a 3rd fighters pass I still think newer games and games that got popular recently need some representation so an Among us character or Zagreus or something like that would be pretty cool.
Seems Brawl is still the definitive Smash for modding. I wonder how many people would've avoided this article if Brawl was written in the title.
Really, people must be tripping to hate on Brawl, they're just too slow, they're as broken as meta knight.
If anyone wants to play as the Crewmate from Among Us in another "smash-like" game. There's a mod for Rivals of Aether (on PC) that adds them. (along with mods for other characters like Rayman, Bomberman, Phoenix Wright, Garfield etc)
Also a mod for Crash Bandicoot is releasing soon as well.

I wish this game would disappear or become irrelevant. It’s getting kind of annoying to see Among Us everywhere, and the “jokes” are repeated over and over on loop. It was like the jokes for these games were specifically engineered to be annoying.

I still think Crash will join smash. I'm sure Sakurai will give Crash a sword to get into the game
I think that Ubisoft deserves a rep. I didn't realize that they were the number one third party supporter on the Switch. I'd like to see them be rewarded for their commitment. I don't really play any of their games... So... Rayman I guess lol... Maybe one of the Rabbids.
