Just curious, but how does this work without VR? On the Switch you would only have one screen to work with (of course, I'm assuming you can play it offline but that probably isn't the case).

I have some promotional cards I've gotten over time for the old Kamen Rider Ganbaride game and most recently one for a Lupinranger vs. Patranger game they have. Not that I have a way to play them, as they were just giveaways with imported games and toys, but I do wish I could at least try out the machines.

@Onion That's fantastic news. Lord knows getting a lot of those A Ranks was a pain and I'll probably have a lot more incentive to try for them now.

I probably wouldn't get a Mario Warriors game, but it does seem like an interesting idea.

I'm not a fan of the NES Castlevania games (I've been spoiled by more modern games I guess and when I finally got around to playing them recently, I found them frustrating and unfun), but I will give the 8-bit Bloodstained a shot. It looks a lot more refined.

If only BotW could have been as good as Link's Awakening.

Maybe Pikachu would've been worth using, then.

I'm really looking forward to this. I liked Luigi's Mansion on the Gamecube quite a bit but was not a fan of Dark Moon. This was mainly due to the gameplay progression interrupting me every 5-10 minutes with its mission based setup, and I couldn't get into. I also think Grezzo did a superb job with the Zelda remakes so I'm pretty excited for that.

@Yorumi Thanks for the clarification, that actually does make sense. I've been interested from time-to-time in trying to make a team with regards to values and more in-depth strategies, but never really saw the point since I don't normally play online (I'm not a very competitive person ). I think it would be nice to put something in like that to give me more of an excuse to actually do it; I think team-building like that could be right up my alley.

@Yorumi I would disagree that attention to IVs and EVs are necessary in end game. No matter how many other people have claimed otherwise, I have noticed that every main series game from Red to Sun had been perfectly completeable with level and type advantages. Are there some tougher spots? Absolutely, but the only parts I can see the EVs and IVs being necessities are with the Battle Tower and its equivilants. Pretty much everything else is higher level and move-type advantage = win. Either that, or I've been incredibly lucky.

I like my Switch as much as the next person, but I've still found myself playing the 3DS more than that. It's much more convenient to me as a portable system and has most of my favorite games on it. Besides, the system is still making money for Nintendo, so I say go for it.

@ADistantFuture45 My friend and I discovered it on the old Sega Genesis Collection on PS2. We weren't very good at it, but it was still fun.

Personally, the thing I was most excited for is that Hyrule Warriors finally has a release date but that's not on the poll. I'd care more about Smash if not for the fact it's one of those games that gets hyped out the wazoo, then I buy it and never get around to playing it.

Not soon enough for me.

Dragon Quest Builders, Super Mario Odyssey, Skyrim, and Sonic Mania are my top picks. I'll give Breath of the Wild another fair shot somewhere down the road but I wasn't too impressed when I first played it.

Maybe I'll buy some games if there's a special Pokemon Day sale or something...

I truly don't care how/if this plays out or what the results may be. I don't own an Xbox of any kind at the moment, my computer runs Linux, and I made the decision to stop giving money to EA eons ago.

Finally got a Switch so I'm getting the Dragon Quest Builders demo. I have it on PS4 and it's one of my favorite games so this will probably be a Day 1 buy for me.

If I get a Switch I'll definitely pick this up. I loved it on the PS4.

Finally, my dream of a properly portable Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon and Jet Force Gemini may be a reality!

I'm really conflicted on how I feel about this. On the one hand, Mega Man is one of my favorite game series in general. On the other hand, I did not like Mega Man 9 or 10 at all and I'm afraid 11 may be more or the same.

I know the entire reason this poll was made was to gush more about Odyssey, but I decided to vote anyway.

2D game: Super Mario World
3D game and overall: Super Mario 64

I don't have a Switch and don't plan on getting one anytime soon so I don't have an opinion on Odyssey yet. However, I'm not usually taken in by super hyped games (it's usually a deterrent for me), so I'm not interested at the moment.

Pardon my snark, but I'm fairly sure the Power Glove showed us that gloves are not controllers.

I'm not getting one and even if I really did want one, I wouldn't be able to for obvious reasons. That said, I am willing to be wrong about my (and everyone else's) predictions for the stock situation. And for sale of completion I voted on Secret of Mana, Mario RPG, and Earthbound, though there are plenty of good games on there.

I know I have HeartGold already, but I'll absolutely get Gold on 3DS.

I don't care either way. I already have 7 on my 3DS, and I don't care for the other three.

I'm ticking Crono, but I'm also thinking of one of the heroes from the Dragon Quest games.

The DS was a great system, there's no denying that, and its successor is currently my preferred portable system (and I'm mostly a portable gamer). However, the one thing about its legacy that always sticks out to me is the fact that this was the start of what I've been referring to as the "Gimmick Age" for Nintendo, and honestly I'm not sure how I feel about that.

No Ampharos anywhere on the watch. Not worth it.

I voted Hyrule Warriors (my favorite Wii U game) and Sonic Racers Transformed. I'd give Star Fox Zero another chance if they'd get rid of the terrible control scheme.

The current '90s nostalgia trend for folks in that age range has moved from Pokemon to Power Rangers. That's where I think all those users went.

I actually tried this again fairly recently but never really played it. I still retain that it's fun but doesn't fit with my lifestyle.
