Unless there's something Gen 2 or 3 related, I'm not interested. Looking back for me, the only great things about Gen 4 were HG and SS, and Diamond and Pearl started a kind of decline in the series for me, so I couldn't care less about remakes of those.
Well, I misread the options and picked the opposite on in the poll, but I meant to choose 90% handheld. I prefer playing portable systems, but I sometimes use the docked mode if I'm watching YouTube or playing with other people. I've moved in with my brother recently so he'll occasionally play in docked mode as well.
I'm back into Final Fantasy XIV with the new patch update, so I'll be playing that with friends. I'm also taking a bit of a break from Dragon Quest VIII for some All Kamen Rider: Rider Revolution on 3DS.
I'm hoping to get some decent progress in Dragon Quest VIII, but considering I've been playing a lot of Earth Defence Force 5 with my friend, I forsee a lot of that happening.
Mostly focusing on Shenmue 3 on my PS4, but if anything during my lunch break today I'm gonna be putting some time into GB Donkey Kong, which I have downloaded on my 3DS
I really like Fantasy Zone so I decided to go ahead and get this. As it turns out, I had enough gold points to fully cover the cost as well, so that's cool.
I couldn't care less about E3 presentation-wise. In this day and age, when game companies can just make announcements over social media any day of the year, I believe it's an outdated concept. I usually skip out on the cringy presentations (especially for the major publishers I've already stopped giving money to) and read the headlines afterward. Then again, I'm an old curmudgeon with a huge backlog and announcements for new games very rarely get me excited anymore.
Cloud based streaming is the future of gaming because that's what the major publishers want, and it's a future I won't be buying into. It's hard enough to find new games that interest me as it is, and I've already decided that unless something drastic convinces me otherwise, I'm not buying into the next generation. By the time everything has gone full streaming with individual subscriptions for each freaking developer, I'll still be playing my Switch, PS4, and 3DS. It's just not worth it to me to keep up with anymore.
I'm sitting this entry out. I'm sure it's good and I hope that it does well and everyone who's playing enjoys it, but I'm kind of jaded on the series at this point and will probably just stick with some of the older games I already have for now.
Whether he read them or not, the dude agreed to the same terms of service as everyone else. Therefore, he should be entitled to the same consequences as everyone else for breaking them.
I initially largely underestimated the amount of time it would take to finish Dragon Quest XI (since I had played the PS4 version before), but I'm in post-game now and may clear it this weekend. As for afterwards, I'm kind of torn as to whether I want to go for a nice chill replay of Chrono Trigger or continue my backlog with Mother 3.
I disagree with the review as well. It's most definitely my least favorite of the series that I've played so far, but it's still good. It's just the least good.
No, I don't need one. The Switch I have is fine for what I use it for, including portability. Even then, I still can't see the Switch in any form completely replacing the 3DS for me as my primary portable.
Not my kind of thing. I like less motion control in the games I play, not more (especially since I have the stamina of, well, something that has really low stamina).
I may go for the Asian version but only if it's official that there's no western release. Even in what seems to have been a big renaissance for the series in recent years, I'm always paranoid regarding Dragon Quest's releases. I've noticed that Squeenix has pretty high expectations for DQ (as many major publishers do) and can be quick to pull western support when they don't feel it's doing well enough. So if there's a chance for a western release in this case, I'd rather wait and see. If one jumps the gun and gets the Asian version before confirmation of a western release, they will be less likely to get it again for the same console if there is one. Squeenix will see that as a sale for the Asian region, and thus less support for the west.
I'm not well-versed in Fatal Fury or KoF but I remember him from the Capcom and SNK crossover games (my friends and I played Capcom vs. SNK 2 quite a lot when that was on PS2). I'm not his biggest fan but it's still neat that he made it in.

Re: Video: 'The Frog For Whom The Bell Tolls', Link’s Awakening’s Hidden Predecessor
I love this game. I played it for YouTube a few years back and it quickly became one of my favorites on the Game Boy.

Re: Poll: One Year Later, How Are You Getting On With Ring Fit Adventure?
I got it after my recent move and I do like it; I'm just normally inactive so I need to keep convincing myself to use it.
Re: Talking Point: Are You Prepared To Spend $70 On The Latest Games?
I still don't plan on buying any new systems for the forseeable future, so I'm not worried about it.
Re: EA Intends To "Double Down" On Star Wars Video Game Development
@GrailUK In this context, nothing doubled is nothing with an exasperated sigh.
Re: Square Enix Officially Confirms Kingdom Hearts: Melody Of Memory For The West
5 bucks says despite this being a rhythm game, it will have important plot points that won't be covered in any future games.
Re: Rumour: Pokémon Fans Speculate That Next Week's 'Big' Announcement Is Let's Go Johto
Oh, look! A new game I might actually be interested in. That's rare. Though I also maintain that rumors are not news, so I'm not getting my hopes up.

Rumors aren't news. That's all I'm going to say here.
Re: Nintendo Download: 30th January (North America)
Nothing. I'll consider the second battle pack when we actually have a few of the fighters revealed.
Re: There's "No Store" Or Microtransactions In DOOM Eternal
I don't trust them. They said that they wouldn't have microtransactions in Fallout 76 and look where it is now.

Cyndaquil for me

Re: Poll: Four Dragon Quest Games Are Out Today On Switch, Which Are You Getting?
XI is currently on its way to me, and while not right away, I'm going to at least want I and III. I'll likely also get II for good measure.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl #9 - The Legend Of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX
I would've liked to pick Japan, but the art looks... off. Failing that, I went with NA since it's the more familiar for me of the remaining two.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 21st)
Link's Awakening. Nothing else matters to me right now.

Technically, I've already downloaded Link's Awakening. I'm just waiting for the time lock.

Yakuza Kiwami and Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment, with a bit of Final Fantasy XIV thrown in for good measure.
Re: Poll: Daemon X Machina Is Out Today, Are You Getting It?
I'll try the demo but if I do decide to get it, it won't be for a good while.

It's a new version of my most favorite game of all time. So yes.
