Re: Shuhei Yoshida On Higher Switch 2 Game Prices: "It Was Going To Happen Eventually"

@-wc- you make a lot of good points and this response isn't arguing any. I think more than anything, the FF6 comparison just shows how much more 70 bucks could go back then and relatively speaking, 80 bucks now doesn't go as far as 70 then. Meaning in 1994, instead of purchasing FF6 for $70 you could like fill up the car, grab movie tickets with snacks and so on with some change. While today 80 might just fill up the tank and maybe get you a single movie ticket with snack (I'm using vague, uncited examples, I know). But more or less that's how interpreted it. I know it doesn't address other points like cartridge production or greedy profiteers but in terms of bang for your buck it might not be too far off

@datamonkey I grew up with it so my opinions definitely a little skewed. I think NL gave an 8/10 which is around the highest I'd give it to from what i remember. The original (not remastered) soundtrack is still fantastic, the dialog/story is fun and dont think its an overly long title. Not sure how someone would find the battle system without ever playing it, perhaps a little simple depending on taste. Hopefully you have a great time with it (whenever that time exists!)

Re: Nintendo Shuts Down Live-Action Zelda Fan Film, 'Lost In Hyrule'

Hypothetically - if a similar KS was made for a Zelda movie in a more ultra-violent (but tasteful) way, like game of thrones or something, would it still be a problem for people if N took action? I mean like nudity and very violent, etc, in the world of Zelda but not necessarily how Nintendo has presented their games.

The reason I ask is because I believe if Ninty says yes to one of these projects (kid-friendly or not) maybe it just opens up further headaches for N and others who try it down the line and are rejected. It's not like Nintendo is partnering with these folks so in an effort to avoid any type of dialogue, they just shut anything down. Just thoughts, idk this stuff in detail

I'm continuing Ys Origin. As a first time Ys-player I have to say it is freaking awesome. Challenging boss fights, perfect amount of difficulty (hard mode), the overall aesthetic, etc - simply a winner. It's exciting jumping into a new series that really clicks, my copy of Memoire is already in the mail. Have a great weekend folks
