My kids who won't entertain anything less than 4k Netflix or 60fps games were literally struck dumb when they saw this baby running on HDR in quality mode
Luckily I work from home, so fingers crossed there aren't too many meetings booked in by then. I'm more worried about what will arrive and when. My switch and mk bundle is from Argos. My carry case and protector from Nintendo. My pro controller and cyberpunk are Amazon. I can rely on fast fusion being ready as it's a digital download. I'll probably spend ages in the menus and faffing about with the TV and soundbar settings
I've already ordered mk world bundle, fast fusion, cyberpunk, a pro controller and carry case. When in the world I'm going to find time for the games of severe interest: Yakuza, elden ring, metroid prime and hitman is anyone's guess
@SoIDecidedTo I got my first games machine in 1982 and I don't think any one born after the mid eighties could even comprehend how difficult it was to get information back then. Being from the UK console gaming was expensive back then and It wasn't until I was working that I jumped in with a mega drive (genesis), but I totally get what your saying about adding a bit of intrigue with the name
The original RR was the game I picked up from ToysRUs on launch day with my playstation. I couldn't believe what I was seeing running on my TV at that time after going from a spectrum to a mega drive. I had only been wondering the other day if this would ever be revisited as an ip
@msvt I lost this along with my oled and 7 other carts when I left it on a plane to Portugal 😩. Your comment about a switch 2 version has made me reconsider replacing it right now
How will the controls translate to the switch? I really wanted to buy the Street fighter collection but I just didn't fancy trying to get my head around playing it without a 6 button set up or arcade stick. I guess ps5 and Xbox are in the same boat, so it's probably a me problem
I'm definitely going to pick one up to replace digitally the last two games out of the 7 I lost when I accidentally left my oled on a plane 😭 breath of the wild and smash bros ultimate
Why on earth would any company pay that when anyone remotely interested in games will already be following the progress of new games of interest and can see trailers in no end of different media outlets
I realised yesterday that my switch had fallen out of my bag after playing pocket card jockey on the plane to Portugal. 😭 I'm praying Jet2 found it. Luckily I left most of my game cards at home but did have 6 heavy hitters in the carry case 😢😢😢
@rotekps_aniger all I'm interested in is it BC, y or n. I can pretty much live with any of the specs as long as they are a reasonable step up from the OG switch. Pre ordering day 1 if BC. If not I'll probably keep my 3 switches and lite and buy a ps5 instead
I was talking to the 19yr old behind the desk at the gym and we got talking about games. He literally didn't believe a 53 yr old could possibly be playing jrpg's and stuff like Danganronpa.
Showing my age a bit here, but I haven't played a ghost busters game since I had it on my zx spectrum in 1984, digitised speech and a at the time, rocking rendition of ray parker juniors theme tune in 8 bit chip tune were the highlights. "He slimed me", brilliant
So apart from hosting the Nintendo online infrastructure, what's coming xbox's way from Nintendo? It's hard to see any Nintendo IP ever appearing on a non Nintendo console
Since I've had 3 failures to beat the final boss battle on tales of vesparia on EASY 😂 I've stepped away for a week to play Danganronpa trigger happy havoc. Considering starting one of my numerous FPS games in the back log for a change of pace
it makes me laugh that the expectation to sell 15million units which at this point of the life cycle and in theses economic times is followed by a negative that that's a year on year drop. Yes that is fact, but come on, 15 million is crazy numbers into year 7
I simply have to finish tales of vesparia this weekend. I'm liking but not loving it, but after 68hrs I can't not see the credits. May have to drop the difficulty as I've been parked on my arse in the back end of the last two boss battles at the tower of tarquaron and I don't really enjoy the combat too much.
Apart from buying multiple years FIFA games for my lad, I don't think I've bought one for myself since the original on mega drive. So sorely tempted, but my back log is embarrassing as it is
This could be the 1st time I've bought an ea footy game (for myself) since the original mega drive iteration. Definitely interested with the game running on frostbite. I'll see what my say has to say about it when he's sampled it on game pass
Maybe I'm naive, but why do they not want to make an effort for an installed user base that totally belittles all of the competition. Ultimately the game play is the important thing, dial the textures down a bit, half em, so what, but mirror the actual gameplay across the formats, same goes for career mode
I've canoed down the Dordogne and it was a great experience. Not sure whether the game will be as good though. My wife accidentally cracked the canoe shop owner over the head with her oar on the way to the river and then piloted her vessel straight through a low hanging tree. I doubt that made it into the game. I can highly recommend the trip for anyone visiting the area though
