I've looked at this game soooooo many times on eshop and in sales, but there's not enough hours in my day to take on a punishing game like this

5 exclusive titles in the uk top 10 yet again is pretty good going for a country that has been mainly dominated by Microsoft and Sony (and previously sega) with the obvious exception of the wii

Funnily enough I was talking to someone earlier in the week trying to play vanguard on series x who considered himself half decent on fps games who said it was almost impossible competing against someone using keyboard and mouse on a pc

@YusseiWarrior3000 that was my point really. I agree 100%, it looks perfectly acceptable. If it was a straight up port it would do me, never mind having the rough edges knocked off. Like a few others, I'm more concerned for things like the soundtrack

I don't get these comments. If your only interested in graphics, then by all means buy it on pc ps5 or xbox. No one cares. If you are happy to take a hit on graphics and sometimes performance, to play it anywhere, then you're in the right place. For those complaining about downloads, just buy a decent sd card and then you have the additional downloads forever. These companies are bringing these games out to make money, not as a favour to us. You've got the box for your collection if that's important. Most people who bought a switch knew what they were buying and if they thought it would look like a ps5 at this point or a 1000 quid gaming pc, they should've done some research

Just got the final battle of ni no kuni white witch to do. Started a few retro games recently dk country, kirby adventure and super metroid and streets of rage2. A bit stuck on a few others like Mario Kingdom battle and hollow knight

I can only imagine the judge from phoenix wright's cases wasn't a voting option as he's nowhere to be seen. His borderline incompetence was often a highlight for me

Brilliant costumes. I'm 5 hrs in to super metroid right now on switch and OMG, I literally hadn't realised how amazing and ground breaking this game was. I always regretted buying a mega drive instead and this has reinforced that

@Martijn87 I really hope nintendo have the foresight to ensure the eshop and games libraries we are building are playable on future hardware. They sold 100 million wiis and are on course to do it again here but I have my doubts that they can capture that again if it means starting from scratch. Animal crossing and the covid perfect storm played a big part in the numbers imo, and nintendo shouldn't bank on everyone just abandoning switch for whatever comes in the future

85 hrs into ni no kuni so a bit more grind and then off to see the white witch. Also katamari damacy and smash as a bit of light relief. Stacks of games in various stages of completion to try and polish off.

Be awesome to pick some of these up for £1.69. I put hours into a few of these beauts, like commando and bionic commando on my ZX Spectrum back in the day. Not a patch on the these versions like

I can't make my mind up what to do on this at all. On the one hand, it's at least half as much again as I was hoping for. On the other hand £60 a Year is not a lot of money to me. Unfortunately my wife and daughter both saw this direct and can't wait for the dlc and I admittedly would love to play some stuff I inexplicably missed 1st time around, majora, paper mario and banjo to name 3. My real problem is the message it sends nintendo by going along with it. Ps plus games aren't often up to much, but gamepass really has raised the bar and this N/O isn't in the same league as game pass. Honestly, a netflix model or cloud gaming is not going to go away and my belief is it will be the future, like it or not. I've never bought a cloud game myself but cannot see how a rental or digital model, coupled with the potential environmental savings of not manufacturing and distributing physical games wont become a factor or convenient excuse as well. Obviously there are server overheads and maintenance etc to consider. Why they couldn't just prove the doubters wrong and come in at lower than expected price and give value above and beyond is really disappointing , especially with the captive audience they have some how worked for themselves again

I'm 60 odd hrs into ni no kuni wrath of the white witch. Honestly, so much to do its ridiculous. I've definitely found a groove with the boss battles and how to handle the idiotic decisions of my ai friends

Surely a price point without the animal crossing dlc would have made sense. Although I will end up paying for it for my wife and daughter, i wouldn't have considered it dor 60 quid otherwise

@Paperboy no worries, I've also replaced three thumb sticks for about €6 each plus screwdrivers from replacebase in the uk if that helps 👍

@Paperboy mine used to do that, it's a fairly simple ribbon change if you're not scared to do it yourself

I finally crumbled and pre-ordered mine. Black and white (as I'm a hull fc fan). Gonna 'treat' my missus to my oem switch so she can finally stop moaning about not being able to play her lite on the tv 😀

I'm sorry, but I can't think why this is a good idea or why anyone wouldn'thave anything better to buy. I would have jumped at a compilation on switch of 2 or 3 zelda titles like majoras mask etc

I'd be interested to know how many weekly sales are required in the UK to achieve a top 10 place. I've been following console gaming closely since late 90's and I've never known nintendo do so well with software. Obviously wii had success too

After finally beating the level 7 desert battle on valkria chronicles at last, i'm
back enthused to go further. I haven't got hrs to waste getting stuck

@Bydlak good luck! that's what I thought after beating one of the toughest boss battles and I'm still nowhere near lol. Moved on to hollowknight for some light relief 😌

I want this so much but I have the worst backlog of games imaginable. Fire emblem and stars wars pinball aren't even out of the wrappers it's got that bad

I totally agree that the machine spec doesn't correlate with with how much fun a game is. But as a nintendo fan of too many years, it would be amazing if we at least started a generation somewhere near parity when it comes to power

Just added bioshock 2 and bioshock infinite, civ5, diablo3 and limbo from the Russian eshop. Having said that, ill probably continue to tear my hair out on hollowknight and level up my crew on pokemon shield, between tidying the garden and watch my footy team play later

I've only got 7 of those lol
