Digital games are dangerous, I've bought 10 in the last two and a half weeks in the sales, I've got 3 games or cart I've not even booted up yet. Is there an equivalent of AA for gamers
@electrolite77 after looking at the link you sent me I stumbled on another really great site via reddit, you may have seen it already Https://Savecoins.app
@electrolite77 thanks for the link, that's awesome. Looks like I'll be setting up some more accounts. At 1st I wasn't interested in saving a couple of quid here and there, but 20% is a different story. I don't even know why I'm buying more games, I've got about 7 I haven't started and my son let it slip that there's 3 more on the way at Christmas.
@electrolite77 I just linked an account to the US eshop and it makes more sense for UK owners to buy from there. The new games are priced say 49$ on us and 49£ on UK shop. Considering a $ is about 78p that's over 20% cheaper before you even consider sale items
I went from Sinclair spectrum to mega drive and I nearly collapsed when i booted up my 1st game, sonic. The colours, sounds and all over improvement over anything id played at home blew me away. Ridge racer on ps was the only other game that stepped things up so much. Now all current gen graphics are easily good enough, especially for us old timers
I love Nintendo and their games, I have done since the snes, sadly I couldn't afford a nes on my paper round money. Why though are we constantly tested with underpowered hardware, albeit with great new ways to play, Wii, Ds, 3ds and switch. Now we have a fairly cheap online but with laughable free games, friend codes and chronic voice chat app. I also have a ps4 which I've given to my daughter, due to only having time for 1 system (switch) and xbone so know the level of games given away on these two systems. I love my switch, but I'm sick of having to try and accept these odd choices by nintendo (and get laughed at). I'm also a hull city fan, there's only so much 1 person can take
I don't care about denser blacks or higher ref, but I was truly gutted when I was in Tenerife on a sunbed and the screen in the sun rendered it unplayable. To make things worst the missus was happily laid there reading a kindle no bother. The battery life has never been an issue for me really, the on-board memory is ridiculous in this day and age though as is the lack of Bluetooth headphone support. I think they will definitely release a handheld only version although I do love to have mine docked. On a side note, why don't devs have different font sizes when docked/handheld, mode, I can barely make out text sometimes and it seems needless
Some people must have nothing better to do. I can hardly find time to fit the AAA new games and quality indies available never mind games ok stuff from 20 odd years ago
I'm currently holidaying in a rather sunny France so I'm having to pick games to finish off that you can see in direct sunlight (and whilst under the influence of beer), so odyssey, stardew valley and golf story so far
@alexolney, I also made homebrewing beer a hobby once, but had to give it up when I started turning up for work half cut. Good luck with it though, there's nothing more rewarding then being tanked up for about 80pence
I'm in no doubt nintendo are holding onto app and vc announcements until there's a bit of a lull in the AAA release window to keep the switch in the news. There arent enoigh hrs in a day to play all the class games never mind watching netflix!

Far too many moves for me. I can just about manage an 80s shoulder roll followed by a sideways hand clap

I honestly do not know how I am going to find time to fit all these great games in. My ps4 hasn't been switched on since I picked up a switch
