If we have to have a 'fun' new experience, then I'm I'm hoping it's a more powerful version of everything we already have with switch, with some form of vr headset to optionally dock with. If it's not backwards compatible, I think I might look elsewhere
I think it could come with a dock with a chip built in to enhance TV play AND a vr Dock for VR, albeit running no where near the standard of the dedicated rigs. Backwards compatibility in hand held mode a must
@Lady_Galadhiel It amazes me that most of these also appear on ps4/5 it's not just inherent to switch. I can't imagine why anyone would buy a ps5 and then download power washer sim or fashion police, but i guess they must do
@Zuljaras cool, thanks for that. I've got access to both a base and a pro. Hell, I love my switch and the mountain of games ive picked up, so 30 fps isn't an issue 😄
I'll be flying to benidorm later and I'll be getting in a solid couple of hours worth of mario and luigis superstar saga. I had forgotten just how great that little gba really was
If theres not going to be an option to buy the retro games anymore, then I really hope nintendo just carries this online expansion and our individual accounts and purchases through to their future hardware so that this infrastructure doesn't just disappear. They've hinted that it will build on it, but we've had nothing concrete and we all know how left field they can be. It's 6 years just to get to where we are now. Steamdeck seems a better nintendo emulation system, although I'm not particularly advocating that.
@erretter I have a standard nyxi controller and it supports rumble, gyro and Bluetooth and its been excellent to use. Nice and chunky both on the switch and as its own entity
I've not even finished botw and I bought that with my switch 1 month after release lol. I've bought more games on switch than I've any chance of playing through
Well like many, not much time for gaming for me 3 consecutive party nights with some boxing day footy to break things up. If I do get any time I'll probably be trying to finish unchartered 4 and fire emblem three houses and inching my way through the tough back end of ori and the blind forest. Have a good un
I really wish they would run a reprint as the carts are tricky to find at a reasonable price. I finished XDE and loved it, although the ending took some comprehending. Nothing against digital dl per se, so I guess I'll hang on in for a decent price at some point
You'll be glad to see the back of the fair then! At least having our game delayed until last Sunday because of it meant the whole weekend wasn't ruined 😅
@QuickSilver88 I prY you're right. You sound a similar age to me, similar start time in gaming, although I had a binatone with tennis football etc. Me and my 300 plus haul of shame backlog is praying you are right on the bc they had with their previous game boy branded handhelds
@N64-ROX this reply really resonated with me and I will definitely be picking this up, I've got a backlog that will never be seen off, but minecraft will definitely be added to my library as soon as I get round to downloading it! Thanks for taking the time to reply
@deeyem I'm definitely going to download it. Meant to do it last night, considered buy inf it physically but I'm probably less likely to play if I have to keep swapping carts out
@Uwii I'm going to download it tonight 😀 I'm not as young as I used to be, so the thought of being able to play as you described definitely appeals to me
Need to finish these bad boys before starting metroid dread which i picked up a physical copy at smyths toys for 20 quid!! Ai the insomnia files Picross 4 Fire emblem three houses
Like Kate, I'm also nearing the end of ai the somniun files, unlike Kate, I bought it on switch. Also be hitting the 40 odd hr mark of fire emblem 3 houses and maybe a bit of picross bought 5 games in the sale this week, but they're probably months from getting their 1st boot up
I've been trying to finish off paper mario 64 online whilst on a sunbed in tenerife. Easier said than done when you have to keep entering the sewer levels in bright sunlight!! My other current game of three houses was mainly a no go area. Still not complaining.
I only bought 4 games yesterday from last week's sale! Although not a multi player fan myself, I fear the worst for my wallet. As a few others have already pointed out, some of these aren't exactly multi player in the way that overcooked is
@AJM59 yeah, I totally get the convenience thing. I often can't be bothered to go and find my case to swap carts. Just seems a big disparity in pricing
I'm not a digital hater by any means, I've got about 230odd games on my 2 memory cards, but why would anyone pay 50quid and not go for the physical. I can understand its more convenient, but it seems a no brainer to get the cart, especially as this isn't coming up in a decent sale anytime soon
@JamesR I was also on the email list and received nothing. Fortunately I must've looked at this site just as the article went up and managed to get one, but it's so annoying. I knew they wouldn't email when they came in

@Cashews I hope that's how they do it. As currently the cards are too expensive to produce
