No. No streaming, no cloud-based gaming. My internet connection is already choking enough. The insistence that cloud gaming might not be a bad thing is precisely why I'm skipping the non-Nintendo consoles entirely this generation. (I usually at least get one from the PlayStation line, but I'm skipping the 4.)

I don't want to have to eschew the next generation of games entirely, but I will if that's where the cards fall.

With so many people jumping into their own toy-to-life system, the stores aren't going to have enough shelf space to accommodate them all. They already have enough trouble displaying all the current Skylanders, Infinities, and Amiibos.

I still have doubts that Amiibo Party is even functional. Mario Party games are decided completely randomly, with the only input the player ever puts in is "A" to advance to the next turn. So yeah, I see how they can fake it, but they'll just be dressed-up normal CPUs. Just like the "human" player is.

In case you couldn't tell, I really, REALLY don't like Mario Party.

I'm glad GP Legend is finally out. A while ago, I bought Maximum Atrocity... er... Velocity... by mistake thinking it was that.

Even though I don't necessarily LIKE the lack of RTDL, I understand it at least. They want Kirby's attention on Rainbow Curse right now. RTDL would undermine it a bit because RC is double the price of RTDL.

"Best of" games aren't usually the "best of" anything at all. There's the same game in so many other forms for so much cheaper, or of you go with that price, there are ones that improve on the formula.

Better add that official 512GB SDXC support sometime soon, Nintendo, because if this is what we can expect, we'll probably be using them anyway.

Never. It's time for Melee to fall. That's something the Smash 4 and Project M fandoms can both agree on - that outdated relic has nothing going for it anymore except for Pichu. And last time I checked, Pichu ain't exactly a major part of the scene!

I mean, if you're that attached to Melee's speed, that's what Project M is for! And it actually has more than five functional characters! Same with SSB4, which actually gave a damn about balance despite many not preferring its speed.

@XCWarrior: The thing about items is that a roll of the dice effectively decides the winner rather than which player is better. Me and a lot of players don't think that's fun at all. How would you feel if, say, a football game was decided because a random fan running into the field messed up one of the teams? That wouldn't be very exciting or fair. I'm not dissing people who enjoy playing with them on, they just don't have a place in a duel between people trying to see which person is better at the game.

The only review score on this site that ever failed me was NightSky (How did that dull shovelware get a 10/10?!). Everything else has been pretty helpful. So I don't think you should ditch the numbers.

Sonic Advance is definitely welcomed. It's close enough to the spirit of the Genesis games so that it seems meant to be played on a home console. Of course, I'll probably waste all my time on the Tiny Chao Garden again

Speaking of the Genesis, this could easily pave the way for some missing consoles.

I said yes to most of these except for three.

1. Metroid: The series is dead, and a licensed TV show would just be pissing on its grave no doubt. It's TV with a female main character, and you know what that means – half the airtime would just be close-ups of ZSS's "prominent features"!

2: F-Zero, which should get a new game first.

3. Donkey Kong; the last series proved that the DKC characters shouldn't talk out loud, ever.
