Re: Chasing Aurora Dev Broken Rules Offers To Port Undertale To Wii U

@GammaNoises We already got cursed with a port of Minecraft. I may have a love-hate relationship with UT, and a hate-hate relationship with its fanbase, but I think they're pretty much all already on the Wii U anyway thanks to that alone, so I don't think a UT port will bring in anyone obnoxious who's not already there.

@Vee_Flames That's kind of the point since it's a six-year-old's design in-universe. Yeah, it's pretty obnoxious and jarring if you go in blind, but after you realize what's going on, I think it just adds to the tragedy of Asriel's character because, despite everything, he's still just a little kid who happened to get a raw deal.

@shani It's a love-letter to the Mother series, so it uses a similar graphical style on purpose. UT is hardly alone in using a retro aesthetic, especially when it comes to indie games. I mean, just look at Shovel Knight.

Re: Bigley's Revenge Has Been Removed From the eShop

I'm surprised this one got passed by Nintendo in the first place considering that Bigley started out as a parody of Ridley.

(For those not in the know, back in the old Smash community on Miiverse, it was a joke to exaggerate the "Ridley is too big" thing by drawing Bigley, a stick-figure version of Ridley, alongside bigger and bigger things like buildings, planets, the entire universe...)

I do understand why they do this and why they don't specify the details; minimal code optimizations and efficiency improvements that the average user wouldn't understand the terminology for. If they didn't do this regular smoothing-down, the rough points would probably add up and lead to gradual slowdown.

So while updates like this ARE underwhelming, I do appreciate them.
