@MarcusIsCool What are you talking about? The 3DS and DSi didn't have music apps. This is a mobile app as part of NSO and it'll keep going as long as Nintendo has it's subscription service.
@Friendly The eshop says it's not compatible and you can't buy it on Switch 2, but if bought it on Switch 1 you can play it on Switch 2. I've tried it and it seems to run well, but maybe there's some bad spot that crashes it.
@Orwellian87 You should pay attention. There was no new Pokémon game in 2020, just DLC, same in 2023 and nothing at all in 2024. What is "pretty much"? Somewhere in the vague vicinity?
@dr-gorgo 5/10 means a game is mediocre and giving that score to any game should not be influenced by what score may have been given to other games. Nintendolife has no objective to try to keep the average of the scores they give at 5/10 when most games they review are better than mediocre.
@GrailUK "on nothing." Seriously stop this nonsense. If I buy it and get to play it it's not nothing by default. And you don't just randomly lose access to it in a year or two but, if at all, in decades.
@Sylamp That is typical with Nintendolife, where they are regularly late with these things like their articles on how much space a game will take up. That info is often on the eshop weeks or months prior but only when it's on Nintendo's website shortly before release does Nintendolife notice.
@abbyhitter Not much of a spoiler if it was shown in the trailer and is on the box art. Obviously it wasn't meant to be a surprise. I assume Zelda built that robot because she missed Link or something.
@Paulo Pokémon Pokopia and Donkey Kong Bananza are anything but repeats of Switch 1 games and the new Yoshi game is very different from Crafted World or Woolly World.
Also called Rhythm Heaven, not Haven.
@Crockin Only because you're not personally interested in it. Many people are. It's an extremely popular genre. Or do you think Minecraft and Animal Crossing are not popular?
@Paulo Rhythm Heaven wasn't shown because it's likely not releasing in early or spring 2026 and the other games are very much something to be excited about for the people who care about these franchises. Would the direct suddenly be a 7/10 if Rhythm Heaven Groove was shown despite not even being a new announcement just because you care about it more than Yoshi, Mario Tennis or Pokémon?
@JohnnyMind Sure, I wait for discounts. But they only ever discount it 33% maximum. So it's still more expensive than it'd be if the standard asking price was lower. Stop acting like high prices are no big deal or harmless.
@SirLink I literally can only think of a hand full of small publishers that don't discount their games much. Almost all big and mid sized publishers including Marvelous discount their games a lot and often give them permanent price cuts. Marvelous does that with their Story of Seasons games. Ubisoft, EA, Take Two/2K, Konami, anything Microsoft owned like Bethesda, Sega and Square Enix are very heavy with discounts.
The only notable ones I can think of that aren't very aggressive with discounts are Spike Chunsoft and Nippon Ichi Software, as the Disgaea games are never more than 35% off, but still very very often and Spike Chunsoft's games take a while until they go on sale, but then they still do go on sale for 40-50% off eventually.
Prototype never discount their games and Factorio afaik never goes on sale.
@SirLink What policy are you talking about? Nintendo sometimes discounts their games by 33% and not more than that. Other publishers most of the time discount their games much more than after a while and even give their games permanent price cuts after a while. It's very easy to get many third party games for more than 50% off after just a year or two. Monster Hunter Rise for example went on sale for like 50% off, then got a permanent price cut down to 40€ and then continued to go on sale for 50% off for even cheaper.
@johnedwin Facepalm. It's 35 physical, which for budget priced games is almost always more expensive. It's 15 digital, which is how most people bought it. So Silksong at 20 digital might be 40 physical.
@Paulo The Switch 2 chipset is from 2022 afaik and not very similar at all to the PS4 as it's a mobile chipset and the console also has a lot of capabilities that the PS4 doesn't at all.

@Serpenterror The PS5 went on sale at many retailers. That's why it jumped up like that.

$80 is the deluxe edition after launch as it's $70 for preorders. The standard version is going to be $70.

@Ulysses That's because the bundles aren't included in the charts, like the article says.

Or are you being sarcastic?
