@Ironcore A consistent framerate is by definition stable. You said in your previous comment that 30 fps is the opposite of stable. You said nothing about janky. Obviously janky 30 fps would be neither stable, nor consistent. The rest of your comment is nonsense. Movies run at 24 fps.
@darkswabber "With Nintendo stealth raising Amiibo prices in Europe to €29,99 as of April 2026"
That never happened. What are talking about? All amiibo still have the exact same prices they always had. They released a few amiibo that are 30€, but there've been 30€ amiibo before. This is nothing new. And the Mario Galaxy amiibos being 30€ is because they're so huge. All Splatoon amiibo so far are 15€ each, so tripple packs are all 45€ and they still are. https://store.nintendo.de/de/search?q=Splatoon+amiibo
@canaryfarmer DLSS doubles the resolution in this instance. At no point does it look blurry or anything. That low internal resolution is the only way to get this game to run at these framerates.
Also the Wii had a 480p resolution as the highest possible.
@Tasuki Actually read the article. Nobody knew this beforehand. And Nintendolife does write articles about it when a game is going to be delisted. They did it quite often.
@Not_Soos @Ethereal_NZ Link's Awakening came to NSO despite there being a remake four years after the remake released. With Mario vs Donkey Kong I expected it to just take a bit longer.
Edit: Also Pokémon Mystery Dungeon is there too, despite the remake.
@repsahj Is this from Vgchartz? That's mostly made up. Their estimates are made with very little available data and often very wrong and adjusted later There's no other publicly available global numbers for specific months like that.
@Takoking What on earth does Niantic have to do with this? They own 0% of the Pokémon IP. They just developed Pokémon Go and have literally nothing else to do with Pokémon. Especially not the pricing of console Pokémon games. Also as of almost a year ago they sold off Pokémon Go to Scopely who now work on it and now have nothing to with Pokémon at all.
It's the Pokémon Company that makes such decisions together with Nintendo and likely Game Freak.
@darylb24 @NPC411 The Switch 2 is worldwide, in the US and in Japan the fastest selling console ever in it's first seven months on the market. Yes, even with the weak November sales in the US (which all consoles suffered from). And even in the UK it outpaced the Switch 1 launch aligned. So your large UK retailer is obviously not exactly representative of the whole market.
@johnedwin The original Dragon Quest VII released on the PS1 after the PS2 released and looked almost like a SNES game and yet still sold millions of copies in Japan. They really never cared about graphics there.
@sportymariosonicmixx Nintendo is fully and 100% controlled by the Japanese branch. You're massively misinformed. I can tell you don't have a Switch 2 and didn't pay attention to all of it's features. Otherwise you'd be aware of the massive jump forwards it is.
@PharoneTheGnome No, they're $60 obviously. I'm refering to your 40 or 50 dollars comment. Maybe Amazon will offer it for 50€ here at some point. Happens quite often.
@JimNorman
For Age of Imprisonment Nintendo would only report sales outside of Japan, as Koei Tecmo publish it in Japan. It sold 1 million. Only Koei Tecmo report it's total sales.
@FrenchVaniIIuxe So DQ7 has a lot of explicit nudity that got censored through black bars? And on other platforms there's an option to remove those bars but not on Switch?
Obviously that's not the case. DQ7 never showed explicit genitalia and such things. It's not comparable.
@Chimichanga Tomodachi Life is significantly more popular than Metroid and has the potential to sell 10 million copies. Metroid Prime 4 won't come close to that and a direct for that game instead of the trailers we got wouldn't make any sense to begin with as they didn't want to show to much of the game. With Tomodachi Life it's better to show more.
@Kiz3000 FF7R didn't get a physical release on Xbox in many regions, probably including the UK, not sure. And for PS5 it likely didn't get reprints in a while. It's not Sony and Microsoft reporting retail sales here. It's retailers reporting them.
@EriXz Nintendo having "no games" on Switch 2 is not a thing of opinion. They have factually released a number of games on Switch 2. You can say they're all bad or whatever, but saying you're stating facts when you're claiming the only things on Switch 2 by them are cross gen games and DLCs is simply wrong.
@EriXz You're not stating facts when you're saying the console has no games and whatever you mean with no information, when it does have a lot of games already with a roughly 1 game per month cadence and a lot more games announced already with obviously more to come.
You're also lying about the console's price and purposely ignoring all Switch 2 exclusive games to have a reason to claim that they're trying to sell the Switch 2 "with previous generation games (Metroid) or worst, with previous generations DLC (Animal Crossing)" instead of trying to sell it with Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza and several other exclusive games with the cross gen games and DLCs just being additional incentives.
Or would you rather Metroid Prime 4 had no Switch 2 enhancements?
You're the very definition of a hater, when you lie in people's faces and claim to state facts with exaggerated nonsense like "no games". Like a populist politician.
Just like that Serpenterror user here.
@obijuankanoobie On the Wii and other Nintendo consoles you can't buy anything anymore digitally, but you can still redownload games at least. Not quite sure about other things. It's probably separate servers or something.

@darkswabber That Rudy amiibo for MHS3 is 24€, but it's also smaller.
Re: A Trio Of New Splatoon amiibo Are On The Way
@darkswabber Ah ok, your previous comment sounded like you meant price increases for old amiibo.

Re: Rhythm Heaven Groove Drums Up Switch Release Date
@the_beaver No, not "all the rumours". Just one "leaker" whose almost always wrong except when it comes to when a direct is happening very soon.
Re: Rhythm Heaven Groove Drums Up Switch Release Date
@Eel You'd lose money on this if you spent a voucher on a $40 game as a voucher costs $50.
