Of course, blame Trump but not Nintendo, yeah that makes sense. Or perhaps conversely, Trump is right, and Nintendo can lower its prices - but it won’t so long as the willingness to pay remains so high among Nintendo fans. Lest we forget the Trump admin remains extremely popular among Republicans, or the domestic economic growth in the United States - but certainly, if your metric for success is the price of your Nintendo console, then I can see why you’d be upset.

Because devs do not work on tight timetables anymore. Having restrictions often improves the creative process but now a game can be released in a 75% complete state with regular content updates that actually deliver a finished product, say, 2 plus years later. Simply put I think devs should work harder and be ok with having tight turnaround in a production schedule
