Love the design and the concept. I like how they are trying to to really come up with some cool new abilities to shake things up.

You know what would be a nice battle element? If you had a double battle with vikabolt and charjabug and Vikabolt picked up Charjabug during battle to get a boost. It would be a nice quirk to the pokemon just like how seviper hordes will attack zangoose that end up with them.

Drampa reminds me of Falkor from The Neverending Story which is a huge + for me.

I'm guessing charjabug and vikavolt are grubbins evolutions? These are definitely different designs but I'm sure they'll grow on me.

I can't wait for this game. I've been playing MH4U in the mean time and there is still so much I haven't done yet despite over 300 hours played.

Yeah after playing 4U I find it very hard to go back to 3U. It's just so much slower and while I never hated the water battles, it's not going to be missed at all.

I'm making my way through 4 Ultimate now and can't wait for this game. I'm tempted to pick up the 3DS too. I've been watching japanese let's plays of this game and it looks amazing.

Jeez and I thought I was a cynic. I enjoyed the japanese trailer immensely, a lot more than the international one. I'm 26 and not ashamed to admit it got me a bit misty eyed at the end. Honestly it's how I really made friends when I was 9. I had just gotten a new gameboy pocket and Pokemon Red was the first game I ever got for it. Pokemon had just really started taking off in the states so even kids who weren't that nice to me ended up becoming good friends.

I don't wear Vans but even if I did it'd be a no go for me.

Cut the "legendary pokemon are supposed to be hard to get" crap please. They haven't been hard to get for ages. The game mascot are practically given to you in the last few games and the remakes like ORAS practically give them to you once you complete the main story.

More character customization.
A deeper story.
More fairy pokemon and interesting evolution methods.
Mini games that can be played in local and online play.
More post-game content that isn't tailored to competitive play.
Fun side quest/missions.
3-dimensional characters.
A rival that poses a real challenge by E4.

Triple Deluxe was a delight and this looks to be even more so. I will definitely be picking this up.

I mostly play on my 3DS so this doesn't really affect me.

I'm 26 and have no issue going into Gamestop and asking for codes. Generally whenever I tell the gamestop employee I have a 3DS they tell me about Pokemon so it's not like they don't know what the popular titles on the system are.

I forgot about these games already whoops.

Apparently they don't send a lot of emails because I'm already signed up on both my primary email accounts and don't remember receiving anything in quite a while.

I think they will shoot for about the same amount as X & Y with new megas which would be fine to me.

I got my first 3DS on launch day as it's also my birthday. It was the cobalt blue 3DS and I loved it. I eventually upgraded to the Pikachu 3DS XL when it was released and had that until last year when I got my current black New 3DS XL. I love the handheld and it's what I primarily play right now.

I've never not enjoyed a Pokemon game so I can't relate to those who say X and Y were duds or the series died in Gen VI. I mean there are some less than memorable generations but I distinctly remember enjoying them at the time I played them and I'm sure if I went back I'd enjoy them again. I never played yellow and now that I can on the VC it's just like it was a brand new Pokemon game for me.

I don't care about the comparison but the music is taking me back to my 9 year old self and I love it.

Pokemon on NX would be a terrible idea.

Honestly Pokémon Z would be great but I'm ready for a new generation.

I don't have a gameboy nor the original cart so buying both would end up being more than 10 bucks for me. My 3DS XL is fairly new as well so I think I'll get more out of it for a longer time than trying to just play the original carts on the gameboy. I never played Yellow so I will be grabbing that one and maybe R/B later on.

Red was my first game on my brand new gameboy pocket. I got blue the following Christmas as did my siblings but I was the only one that stuck with the franchise.

Gen V gave us Haxorus and Oshawott. It's definitely not the worst on that alone. Also reusable TMs!
