@NintendoHistory The first gens were only 'difficult' because it was broken as far as battling went. The addition of the special/physical split and the check on psychic types made it far more balanced. Also the games are going to be easier once you've played a few games because the core mechanics don't really change much. If you learn the type chart and what is effective/not effective against what there isn't a whole lot of difficulty that can really be added unless they code NPCs to use VGC style tactics.
I'm probably going to trade in my copy of generations toward Pokemon Moon. I haven't touched it in months and once Pokemon comes out I definitely won't be playing it.
He makes far too much money to have such a bad costume. I mean I guess she's too young to really even know what the hell he is but come on. That aside, it's really cute.
Based on what I know of it at this point $199 seems low and think as of now what I'd spend right now is probably in the $250-280 range. If the launch titles are good and we know more about what it's capable of that could definitely go up as much as $400 as far as I'd spend so we'll just have to see.
At the community college I go to, I normally see a bunch of 18-20somethings surrounded by a big a** screen someone brought to hook up their console to play in the student lounge. I could definitely see the Nintendo Switch being more appealing to those people. I'd say if it's a small get together of no more than 10 people where everyone knows each other I don't see why not.
I've always just enjoyed handheld gaming more. There is something about it that's missing when I'm playing on a console even with friends with me. It's like reading an actual paper book versus reading a book on a tablet or other smart device. It's a different experience.
It's worked for them this far and as long as Nintendo keeps their handhelds reasonably priced I doubt it's going to hurt them any time soon. If anything they might wait and see how the hybrid thing works out for Nintendo before they put a game on it.
We still know nothing really of importance about the Aether Foundation, the origin of Ultra Beast, what Team Skull/Guzma/Gladion's goals are. We haven't seen the complete Pokedex for the new area. We haven't met all the new characters, all the new game mechanics, much of any of the new region, all the new moves and anything about the post game. There is still a lot left to reveal and anyone worrying they are showing too much must not have played a Pokemon game back when it came out a whole year or more early in Japan and the whole game was ruined by let's players. Also at the end of the day if you don't want to be spoiled then unfollow all Pokemon related content on social media and stick to gaming sites that use spoiler warnings. It's not as hard as some of you make it out to be.
Sun and Moon is shaping up to be the best entry into the series. I just want a good post-game and a lot of Pokemon available in the wild. I'm replaying White 2 and one of the best things about it is there are a lot of fully evolved Pokemon available to catch in the wild, even ones that normally require being traded to evolve like Kingdra, Huntail, and Gorebyss.
I still have the microSD card that came with my n3DS and I don't really download anything outside of demos that I play and then remove once I get bored. I probably will upgrade though just in case.
I was already team Popplio but even moreso now. I mean Brionne is literally the Pop Star Pokemon. The leaked final evo is pretty much confirmed for me.
@Mega_Yarn_Poochy Rockruff and the starters share a secret according to CoroCoro and with the reveal of version exclusive evolutions for the pup it seems perfectly reasonable to assume that's the secret they share.
If the mainline series is moving to the NX then it better be an affordable piece of hardware or Sun and Moon might be the last games I play in the series.
@CosmoXY We'd all be a lot better off if the baby boomers and older would just hurry up and die off already. Study after study finds we're the hardest working(despite stagnant wages), the most educated, the most charitable, the most socially conscious yet despite all that we're seen as special snowflakes by people who have literally sucked the government dry in free handouts and still whine about how hard things were for them.
I like these shorts and this one definitely gave me the same "aww" kind of feeling just like the first so I think it was effective. I understand the criticism but I think it was done well personally.
@FeatherlessDuck That's assuming they would have enough disposable income after they pay whatever bills they have. As someone who makes slightly more than the federal minimum wage, I'm lucky to have 30 bucks or more after bills and needed expenses like gas so I can keep going to work.
I have this game downloaded but I don't play it at all. I live in a very rural area so finding Pokestops is a pain in the rear and I'm literally down to like 6 pokeballs. I have no desire to spend real money to get more when I can just play one of my main series games.
@edgedino where have you seen/heard water/fighting? The leaks that have some credibility have it as water/fairy with water/psychic being second likely if it keeps the whole bubble performer motif.
Also Stufful is a stuffed bear that doesn't like to be hugged while Bewear is a bear that wants to show affection but is also dangerous to get close to.
@sillygostly Eevee says hi. Speaking of which I wonder if alolan eevee will be a thinking considering it's whole shtick is adapting to environmental changes.
@Yorumi Alolan Sandshrew and Sandslash are said to be slower than their ground type versions so there very well may be a stat change for Raichu and other Alolan variant Pokemon.

Re: Deals: A Guide To The Finest Pokémon Sun And Moon Preorders
I'm kind of regretting my Gamestop pre-order but whatever.
Re: Pokémon Sun and Moon Version Exclusives Leaked Online
This definitely put a kink in my plans as I wanted Vulpix not Sandshrew.
Re: Feature: The Most Intriguing Features in Pokémon Sun and Moon
Yeah I tried to hold out but I went ahead and looked at all the non-plot related leaks. It's definitely going to be an interesting generation.
Re: Isabelle Animal Crossing 3DS HOME Theme Added to My Nintendo in North America
The furries will be pleased

Re: Pokémon GO Halloween Event Includes Extra Candy and More 'Spooky' Pokémon
No interest in playing this after I uninstalled the app months ago.
Re: You're Not Dreaming, Mario Pikachu Is Officially A Thing Now
It's much cuter than Mario in a Pikachu costume that's for sure. I'd really love that cover plate for my black N3DSXL.
Re: Video: This Unofficial Pokémon Advert Has a Beautiful Message for Older Sun and Moon Trainers
Pretty much my experience as Pokemon fan since R/B/Y

Re: Hands On: Checking Out A New Generation In Pokémon Sun and Moon
I don't use the 3D because with my astigmatism I can't really see it anyway and thats with a new 3DS XL. Anyway I can't wait for the demo.
Re: Volcanion Distribution Kicks Off in North America and PAL Countries
I hope they do a second chance for manaphy, that's the only one I missed (and phione by extension)

We got Espeon and Umbreon in Gen II, Leafeon and Glaceon in Gen IV, Sylveon in Gen VI, so maybe a new eeveelution in Gen VIII?

I hope they leak the whole plot. I don't play for that.
Re: Video: Official Trailer Shows Off More Pokémon Sun and Moon Ultra Beasts
September 20th info will hopefully give us Lugarugan type info and clarity on how rockruff's evolution works. Starter first evolutions too.
Re: Video: Official Trailer Shows Off More Pokémon Sun and Moon Ultra Beasts
A cute charm that works regardless of gender? Pokemon is so progressive.

Crabrawler is based off a coconut crab. They don't do water, hence the lack of water typing.
