I'll still be getting this day one. The game is playable as is otherwise it would not have been scored so highly by reviewers. I look forward to an enhanced experience with the updates.

Another reviewer I follow said that he found the characters and enemies in this game better than Xenoblade chronicles 2. Actually the only gripe he seemed to have was the environments seems kind of poor for what the switch can do but otherwise he really loved it.

I know when I see combat for this game it appeals to me more than what I've seen of Xenoblade.

I don't remember Pokemon following you outside of Pikachu being in the original yellow.
I don't remember being able to ride any Pokemon large enough to carry you in the original yellow.
I don't remember co-op where a friend is able to drop right in in the original yellow.
The deep dive showed interactions I don't remember in the original yellow.
I don't remember a full 3D HD world in the original yellow.

Is it fair to just call it an overpriced reskin? The only gripe I have is the lack of wild Pokemon battles since now you have to catch several repeats of Pokemon you already have. I think that's a dumb mechanic.

I'm not paying 50 bucks for Mew. Will these games work with bank?

Bayonetta 3 and a port of Kid Icarus Uprising/sequel announcement would be great. KI:U was such a great game that deserves a second chance on the switch. It did sell over 1M globally I believe.

Please no open world. I'd be fine with a sandbox but Pokemon doesn't need that. I want at least 100 new Pokemon and unique cities and dungeons with a Black and White level of depth to the story. It doesn't have to be world ending stuff but more complex and make you question the Pokemon society. It would have to be appropriate for children of course but give me that and I'm a happy fan.

I want this to succeed because more Pokemon is never a bad thing as far as I'm concerned but if this has any affect on the core games I'm out. This is not going to make me pick up Pokemon GO and honestly with these new games I'll probably beat the story and get that new exclusive Pokemon and call it a day. Core games tend to give me tons more replay ability with battle factory type features and shiny hunting.

Mildly interested in FighterZ but that's about it.

I just preordered this, Ys VIII, and Octopath Traveler so it's going to be an interesting summer.

I am dumbfounded that there are grown ass adults who think random Pokemon battles somehow make Pokemon needlessly complex. Like...maybe this isn't the right series for you if you are that easily overwhelmed tbh. Putting effort into capturing the monsters is one of the basic elements of a monster collecting type game...

I'm definitely getting the Eevee version. It's Pokemon on Switch so it already had my money.

@Devlind I hate how that's become such a buzzword because someone has a differing opinion.

I'm gonna get this because it's Pokemon and I'd rather play that on my Switch then on my phone. I just hope using Pokemon GO isn't mandatory. It's supposed to be a 'reimagining' of Pokemon Yellow so there should be a plot, gym battles and side quest. The lack of random pokemon encounters is a let down though.

@Pichuka97 The official Pokemon twitter has confirmed the next core series game is coming out in late 2019.

This will be a cute game to play while I wait on the true next core game. This is not a core game even if GameFreak tries to call it one. However I will not be picking up GO so I hope the GO interaction is optional.

Golden Sun or Kid Icarus(sequel or port) would make them the clear winners of E3 for me. I know Pokemon is coming even if it's not this year.

I have at least one game for each of the next few months I plan to buy so any other announcements that I'm interested in would just be gravy on top.

They say physical and digital on PS4 and just available on the Switch. Does that mean it's only going to be digital? I'm always open to more RPG's but I am a physical release guy.

Ariana is hands down the most vocally talented pop singer under 25. If you doubt that watch any of her live performances on youtube or the wheel of impressions she did on Fallon last year. There is a reason they chose her to do this and not Taylor Swift. She actually sounds good without music or heavy production.

The game has been on youtube for a while and I watched some of it. Based on what I've seen and reading through your review it seems more like an 8 maybe even a 9.

A steep price to pay to brick your system.

There is nothing anyone can say to make me believe this upscaled port was somehow a threat to Monster Hunter World sales. I don't think the people saying that even believe it. If that was the case then just release it digitally at first then do a physical release once world was out. The die hards would have gotten it digitally and those who got World and liked it would get it physically. The base game was already localized with generations so don't try to tell me it took them this long just to localize the XX parts of it. Also they have been saying for months that there were no plans despite you all saying it takes almost a year to do localization. They would have had to been doing it while still marketing world.

I have Battle Chasers preordered on Amazon and I might pick up Wizard of Legend too.

I got a 3rd party stand and never used it so my nephew uses it for his phone. I'll have to think about investing in something else. I don't play in tabletop mode that often.

Since my grey ones are no longer under warranty I think I may have them customized.

Shiny hunting is how I spend all my post story time so more shiny hunting the better. However it probably has nothing to do with that.

If it's coming out this year my expectations will be low as far as what new things the game adds. Games tend to look better the longer the games are on a console which makes sense. Just give me at least 100 new mons and finally a dark type gym. Also new ways to shiny hunt or bring back things like Pokeradar.

As long as it stays on mobile trash I don't really care. I don't play mobile games.

Understandable. GoW looks cool but it's really the same old mindless virtual violence you can get in tons of other games. Labo is something fresh.

One one hand my finances are a bit low so this helps me out personally but delays are never good for public perception even when they are needed. Nintendo is still having to prove that the Switch is not another Wii U.

Breath of the Wild, killing the monsters to get Kilton's medals and collecting korok seeds.

I have no interest in games that came out before I was born.

Ash's goal is to be a Pokemon Master which doesn't actually mean catching every single Pokemon. Also the Pokedex doesn't work the same way in the anime as it does in the games all he has to do is see a Pokemon for it to get it's data. Anyone who has watched the anime knows Ash is more interested in battling and seeing new Pokemon not actually owning them.

I'm looking at reviews and it seems that it gets very grind heavy at a certain point. I don't mind a grind in my RPG's but it seems really bad in this game. Anyone play it on other consoles and can give me an idea of what it's like?

If it comes to Switch I'll grab it. Portability is a huge thing for me so it's hard to look at games not coming to it.

If the bricking issue ever gets resolved I'd seriously consider getting this.

I haven't downloaded the newest update yet nor do I have a 3rd party dock.
