I felt really awkward after catching my first and that dreaded question popped up. I was always told naming and shaymin was bad etiquette.

Now I can participate in my favorite internet activity: Klink Shaymin.

I know this is probably a really stupid question, but why give us a Lv. 100 Pokemon with crap moves? Is the point that we use TMs etc on it to create a powerhouse?

I've always hated Shaymin's design.

@alasdair91 For the past few Pokemon, I'd agree. But all of the moves that come with this Shaymin seem immediately useful. Only thing I'd do is replace something with air slash.

@Knuckles They are offering one Mythical Pokemon per month. However, I've already got all of the upcoming Pokemon (it helped to participate in promotions since Black and White).

I had no idea about these as I clearly missed out on the previous ones. Nevertheless, my daughter was happy to get this little Pokémon. I don't really understand Pokémon, but she is happy to explain it to me and I'm happy to pretend that I'm comprehending what she's explaining.

I think that's one of the better Pokémon movies. Nothing beats "Pokémon the Movie 2000" as far as I'm concerned, though.

@Yorumi Thank you for the heads up! While I've completed the main game in Omega Ruby, I have yet to play my copy of Y (thanks to Fire Emblem and Bravely Default). And since I've never had a Shaymin before, I don't think I would've known where to get the Gracidea flower for Shaymin's Sky Forme (unless they tell you this in the games somehow). That would've been criminal because his Sky Forme is my favorite. And the movie is pretty awesome, too: I saw it sometime last year.

@chiefeagle02 Sorry, I thought when you said all mythical pokemon on offer in 2016, you thought this was the last one. Yeah, I've done all of the mystery events too since back on HeartGold.

I still remember using the Tweaking glitch to catch one and Darkrai in Diamond. Ahh, the nostalgia.
