Yeah I'm going with Mario + Rabbids. I feel bad that my bf got it last week when it was just the base game discounted.

I'm conflicted between Shining Resonance and Mario + Rabbids.

Diablo III and Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate are my most played games this year and the ones I've had the most fun with.

I'm gonna be the d*ck. If I was his parent I would have refused it because it would be a learning experience for him to learn to be more aware if his things and surroundings. That's several hundred dollars down the drain. Some of us grew up with little so we learned quick to appreciate and take care of the things we did have.

Pokemon will have longer legs but good for Smash.

Ugh I'm so disappointed. That game really deserved a second chance. It did manage a million sales globally so I was hopeful there was a chance.

Been curious about this but don't have a PC to play it on. I can wait for the release on Switch.

Unlike most people the controls never bothered me and I could play for hours with no hand cramping. That being said a port that supported the dual stick controls would be everything. It is such a beautiful game that really utilized the 3D effect to the fullest.

I think even I underestimated how ready fans were for a console core series game.

@Cloud-Strife You mean Generation 8? Sun and Moon were generation 7.

Once I got into shiny hunting it renewed my interest in the series and I wasn't even losing my interest at the time. It does add another element to the game with all the different shiny hunting methods across each game.

I wish it was the clamshell 2DS.

I mostly play in handheld so the always-on-gyro is a bit concerning especially if it interferes with capturing since that seems to be a bigger emphasis in these games.

I've watched the trailer 3 times now. I am hyped for this.

I have 11 physical games and 3 digital. Those numbers would be much higher if I had the finances.

I hope they hit the mark but I think around 15 million total is more likely.

I'm almost 300 hours into MHGU and it's pretty much all I play right now. I've barely scratched the endgame stuff as well. My friends that got into MH with World pretty much topped out at 150 hours and have moved on to other things.

They could have used the "story" from 4U and had something decent but noooo.

Eevee's evolution gimmick is what fuels the popularity and then they give you one you can't evolve as your partner.

Tempting but I'll have to hold off.

People talking about lack of competition as if Nintendo still doesn't have to compete with Mobile phone gaming.

Based on the description it most likely has another form or can absorb other Pokemon in some way.

I'm a sucker for that artstyle and it looks like something I would play if it's not on a phone.

I remember a youtube getting in an argument with one of his subscribers during a livestream on whether BoTW is a port or not. It started on the Wii U and was held back for the switch so that definitely makes it a port in my opinion.

Never played any of the LEGO games but if I were to get one it would be Harry Potter.

Generations Ultimate has my time for the foreseeable future.

A $60 game that based on past experience I will be investing 300+ hours into seems fair to me. I'm getting more content than generations and more free dlc.

@Quarth I am in the same boat. I've been a mostly Nintendo console owner but mainly there handhelds so I'm getting the opportunity to play a lot of games I missed out on when they first came out on other systems.

I played a little of this with a friend recently, not sure if it's for me but a big hitter like this on the switch is a good thing and have personally seen people double dip just because of the portability of the system. It really does change the game for some people.

October is gonna be a packed month.

Switch is my only home console and my gaming previously was on Nintendo handhelds. So for me it's been a good year since I'm even getting to play games I missed on other consoles. I understand that's not the case for everyone but for me personally I'm satisfied and 2019 is looking even better. I'm currently working through a backlog. I finished Battle Chasers and just started Ys VIII. Octopath will be next and maybe sneak in Shining Resonance before Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate but who knows.

I have no interest in shooters but seems like this is a great pickup for the Switch.
