What would be the point of bringing Daisy in, considering movie-Peach is pratically Daisy in personality anyway? If I were in charge of the movie, I'd have both Luigi AND Peach be kidnapped, and have Mario, Toad and Daisy go on an adventure instead. Both Mario and Daisy would have something to prove - Mario turning from "regular" Mario to "super" Mario, Daisy from being the second-fiddle "literally who?" princess to someone who actually is proven to have the qualities to rule. Maybe have some set-up in the Mushroom Kingdom beforehand, with Peach going to negotiate with Bowser, Daisy going "alright, I'll hold down the fort while you're gone" and Peach going "oh-ho-ho-ho-ho, I know you mean well, sweetie, but you simply aren't ready for this yet."

OG Dragon Ball (kid Goku, Bulma, Yamcha) and Dr. Slump are great. After that, I can take his work or leave it. Still he did leave a massive impact on Japanese and global culture. Rest well, Toriyama-san.

@Yosher On one hand, yeah I get not wanting to be spoiled. On the other, it at least sets expectations so people don't get too hyped. If it weren't Pyoro, it'd be someone else.

Happy birthday, Switch! Got mine 10/27/2017, when Mario Odyssey released. Been with me through many trials and tribulations over the past 6 years (jeez).

Gee, maybe you should've delayed it for a few weeks. That way, you wouldn't have been competing with Wonder, and the game would've gotten some much-needed polish. Win-win. But of course that's too much to expect from SEGA.

@Fizza this. We knew more about Mario Wonder at this point before release. I can tell Nintendo desperately wants people to be excited for this, especially since this is Peach's first solo outing in almost 20 years, but they can't get excited when they don't even know what they're being excited for.

not gonna lie, the fact that we hadn't gotten any other gameplay footage aside from the initial reveal had me worried this'd be another GTA Definitive Edition disaster. Now that we finally got an extended look, and it actually does look decent, consider me cautiously optimistic about this now! We'll see fully come Wednesday

@Astral-Grain the only possible reason I can think of is that Reiko Kodama, Shuntaro Tanaka, and Atsushi Seimiya got together and pulled a harmless prank on a SEGA executive during Legends' development (put a whoopee cushion under his seat, or something), and said executive got so heated he vowed to never release SoA on any platform again

Between this and Wonder for Christmas and TTYD remaster early next year, my Switch is going to be a busy bee.
